*OFFICIAL* AP Watch thread for Jan/Feb UPDATE: THERE OUT 1/1 THRU 2/11

Just talked to a supervisor. Computer glitch. Rates were not supposed to come out. DH is not happy and is still talking to supervisor. NO. They would not let me book the rate. DH does not want to renew passes once they expire. Universal is starting to look real good next year ...

Sounds familiar to what happened in August, huh?
 
The CM said he was very farmiliar with SBC, but that he was looking under 'Affiliations' and there was nothing there. Maybe someone started entering info into the computer for tomorrow and jumped the gun alittle??? Maybe in the morning.....:)
 
ok here goes. remember the evil CM debbie who told me she wasn't trained? well she didn't send me to support, she sent me to some sort of meal reservation thing for CM'S!!!!
can you believe this? Lucky for me, the gentleman on the other was very kind and took down my concern and noted my frustration in an email to his manager to be sent to ressie manager. he took my current conf # and where i wanted to stay, along with my telephone, and name.
i not expecting anything, but i would appreciate a telephone call. anyways, i guess we're back to the drawing board from the looks of it.
do you think i should even bother calling in the am?
do you think they will get back to me? god, i feel a little disneyed out tonight :(
 
I have called CRO three times tonight with all saying the AP rates are not available at this time. I talked to a supervisor during the last phone conversation and he said the AP rates aren't out. I gave him the information about the new system(SBC) and then go to affiliations and then check AP holder. He said this is information that isn't suppose to be public and a CM is giving out information that isn't to be released.

At least it looks like the AP rates are in the system and hopefully will be released soon to everyone. Just will try tomorrow morning. They were open until 11:00 pm tonight.
 

Well guys, I for one am calling it a night! Going to work on my next installment of my trip reports from our trip last week so i can get part 7 posted in the morning then going to bed....Yall have a good evening!

Even though this probably won't help us even if we move our reservation to April 9 to April 14, I now know what to ask them to look at first thing tommorrow morning, just incase they are planning something huge. Thanks for all of your hard work.

This response from the supervisor is what I meant about some of the CM attitudes. I don't see what is wrong with being a informed consumer. Does it really matter that we know how they access the AP rate? :rolleyes:

Before I call this morning and sit on hold for a while, I will wait to see if anyone else is able to get an AP rate. If a few people are getting them then I will call.

just got through to Disney Club, new ressies, not yet.
 
I just got through, but the agent was VERY surly this morning, obviously didn't even check for rates, and first claimed the she didn't have the new system, then claimed it was down. I am back on hold now.
 
I just spoke with a much nicer Cm who also said no AP's right now, they weren't loaded yet.
 
Just got off the phone at 7:15. My "approximate wait" was 4 minutes. I spoke with a CM (not helpful) and stealing a line from someone else (sorry, don't remember who) mentioned my friends got AP rates yesterday. He kept asking for a code. I said no code, just AP rates. He said there were none. I asked about the computer system and affiliates and he didn't seem to like that very much and got a little testy that "I" shouldn't know about that. He further went on to say that my freinds HAD to have had a code and find out what that was and check back. Something tells me those CM's are NOT going to have a very good day today! :headache:
They don't have caller ID do they? :eek: What if they decide to revolt and capture our phone numbers and proceed to call us all day long. :earseek: We better be on our best behavoir today!
 
I just called to see if AP rates were out and they said not yet. I said but I got them last night and was calling to see if a different room view was available. She asked me for my ressie # and I gave it to her. Apparantly my CM used a post card code which she asked me for. I told her I dont have a post card and that the CM told me it was a straight FL Resident rate. She said she would have to talk to her supervisor because if they asked for the code at check in and I didnt have it I would be charged full price! So now I'm panicing thinking they're going to take it away from me!! She comes back and says that they will honor it because it was a CM mistake!:Pinkbounc

I'm not usually this lucky!! Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today so I dont have to worry about discounts anymore!!
