kbkids- I just got Pop Century (my additional night) for $55 including tax, for Feb 3, so hopefully you can get yours changed to that rate!

Yeah, I've been on hold since 10:22 and I finally get a CM who does not have access to SBC. I've been put on hold again waitin' for an analyst. Hope they come on-line soon since it's past my bedtime. :crazy:

Well at 11:23 an "analyst" finally came on the phone and would you believe it --- but the CM sent me to the technical help desk. Guess that is one way to get rid of late night calls that you don't want to answer. The guy was very nice but he was just a computer techie and he couldn't help with reservations. That was one hour wasted on the phone. Will try again in the morning. :confused:
 
DC- I think the rate was called a Jan/Feb rate, but they may exclude President's week. I wish I knew more about it!
 
For those who are getting through - are you getting CRO/room only reservations, or are these WDTC/package reservations?

Given how hard it sometimes is to get someone trained on CRO, then trying to find someone able to find the passholder rates, seems like it might be best to let them give me a package rather than being put back in the waiting queue. Since I'm going in two months, it's getting less and less likely that I'd need to cancel.

ok, i'm really irked. after 45 min of waiting.. i get Debbie who tells me they are not out. I tell her to look under the new system. she says she's not trained! ok well you better find someone who is because i just waited 45 min. to deal with your lovely attitude. anyways, without telling me, she has transferred me to disney support line...where i am on hold.

sigh, this better be worth it. grrr. why so difficult. honestly, i work at a resort and i am very sweet and customer service oriented when it comes to people who are the same with me.
ok sorry i just had to vent.
i'll tell you what happens....still on hold with disney support
 
Thanks for the help. Maybe I should just call and ask to see if they have any AAA rates available for April and when they are looking for that, I guess I could mention to see if they could look up to see about AP rates in the new system.

Mine were room only reservations, cigar. hope that helps!

The lady I talked to said that about 70% of them were trained on the new system. I hope they can get you someone who knows what they are doing, afsi!
 
not having any success here......the CM is double checking....has gone the route as discussed..but no luck yet...they are double checking now..:(
 
after waiting on hold for 45 minutes tonight, the person I got could not find the code using the instructions on the prevous post. He didn't see any affilations section. So if they gave you the CODE they used for your resservations and you could post, it might help when we talk to our person.
 
um...... r they closed? will they get back to me? I just want a nice CM like the one i had earlier:(
 
OOOOkkk..after a very long talk..and then they transfered me to a Manager.....named Jim......very polite.. I told him the situation and he said yes......that was the case......BUT...there was a glitch in the computer system that allowed these rates to be shown for a short time and they should not have been shown or allowed to be given out.

He said the rates will be coming out soonm but he does not know when, but that the rates that were quoted are the ones that we should expect, as they are putting them in the system now......

He apologized for any distress or problems this has caused!

sighs...and....waits for another day
 
11:19 and still connected, so they must be available 'til midnight, or at least are still dealing with the calls that started before 11:00. Also, the first time I called I didn't hit 'existing reservations' but justed waited on the line for the next available cm. That time my wait was only a few minutes. This time I hit 'existing reservations', and my wait is MUCH longer! Just a thought, but maybe they take you faster if they don't know that they already 'have you'. Still waiting!:Pinkbounc

Nope Princess...and I even begged.......sooooo...congrats on your rate..and....i am sure it will all work out! After all this is Disney..:) Thanks for all your hard work here on this!

The manager was nice, and was very concerned about the glitch, apparently the computer was only being screwy for 5 or 6 mins, but it was enough to set things in an uproar there tonight, which I imagine has some CM's a bit frustrated!
