Jessica-not a terrible performance, looked very cute.
Anwar- Nice, and he looked fabulous, but it didn't grab me.
Mikayla- My daughter would be locked up if she wore that!
Constantine- Not bad, but only so so.
Lindsay- Not terrible, but not awe inspiring either
Anthony- BORING
Nadia- Fabulous!
Bo- When he jumped off the stage... wow!
Vonzell- she looked a tad out of her league, but looked fantastic
Scott- Why is he still on my TV? Notice his lame attempt to copy Bo.

Carrie- Get off the country horse sweetheart. WE all know you sang the Linda Ronstandt version. BORING!

Here's my question for those that think that Constantine is arrogant but like Bo:

If Constantine had gone out into the audience and up on the catwalk during his song, would that have been arrogance? While watching Bo that's the only thing I could think - that if Constantine had done that he would have been criticized for it.

I'm just not that into Bo. Yes he's got a good voice, but frankly he creeps me out.

I'm also not that into Carrie. She's also got a good voice, but I just hate country music and everything she sings is somehow countryfied.

Mind you I was listening to Pavarotti earlier, so my musical tastes might be a little different that most of the Idol crowd.

Jessica - like her voice, but she reminds me of Miss Piggy (sorry, I know that's mean)

Anwar - he's got a "gettin' cozy in front of the fire" kind of voice

Constantine - Love him!

Lindsay - Pretty girl. I think she has an okay voice, but it's so deep that it's probably tough for her to find suitable songs.

Mikayla - I really like her, but I think she's better suited for a sitcom.

Bo - I can't argue that he's got talent, but I'm not a big fan of classic (meaning 60's and 70's) rock, so I find it hard to dig him.

Nadia - She's amazing.

Scott - I like his voice, but can't picture him as an "idol"

Anthony - Blech. Buh-bye

Carrie - I think she needs to stick with country and stop trying so hard.

Vonzel - cute, young, perky. Nice voice, but nothing special.

Nikko - Blech, blech, and double blech. He does nothing for me.

I totally agree. I think Bo is way more arrogant than Constantine...and he creeps me out too.

Okay, I've been lurking around here for several weeks now, but after tonight, I can no longer bite my tongue!!! Mikalah or Mikayla or however she spells it, has got to go!!!

The Fran Drescher act, the fake b**bs, the back tattoo, the botox, the nose piercing, the belly piercing. MAn, she has every "what's in now, cool thing to do" done to her all at once. I just hope to god, that head shaving doesn't become a fad before next week's episode!

And on top of all that, she just can't sing!!!

My 8 yr old DD put it all in to perspective when she looked at me and said "dad, I'd rather listen to my teacher scrape her nails across our chalkboard thatn listen to her sing another week!"

What can I say, outta the mouth of babes!!!

Whoa weak night......

Jessica- Eh she's OK, but there's something I just don't like about her.
Anwar- I was so disappointed with him.
Mikayla- wow that was terrible.
Constantine- Best performance he's had, it was pretty good.
Lindsay- Didn't think she was as bad as they said but not that good either.
Anthony- Boring but I thought he sounded pretty good.
Nadia- FINALLY a great performance, blew everyone else away.
Bo- Still don't like the guy, sorry I tried.
Vonzell- Thought she was pretty good tonight. Looked like she was in the talent portion of Miss America with the dress though.
Scott- Sounded better, maybe it was because everyone else was so bad.
Carrie- I just didn't buy her singing that song, it's like when she sang the Janis Joplin song. Needs to pick a lighter, young song.
Nikko I enjoyed his performance despite it sounded off in some spots.

Your comment about Vonzell had me laughing. It's sooo true. Like she was in a pageant tonight. She did pretty good though.

Okay, I have figured out who Anthony sounds like......Dennis DeYoung! In some spots of songs, he sounds exactly like him. (Think Styx, for those of you who don't know who he is. )

Tonight was interesting. The song choices were interesting, and many not what I thought would be picked.

Jessica-- She has a great stage presense and love her bluesy style. Thought she did well.
Anwar-- gorgeous voice. Liked that he did the song in a mellow way. I feel he can be very versatile. Truely has the best voice of anyone in the competition. May need to take a few more risks.
Mikahla-- Thought her song choice was right on for her this evening. Maybe not the best vocally, but she was able to sell it. Would give her another week.
Constantine- he really showed tonight that he has a very nice voice. He takes chances on other types of music, which I admire. His best performance to date. He didn't look so smarmy tonight, either.
Lindsey-- she tends to sing right in her break between head and chest voice. Don't like her style on stage. Feel like this may be her last week.
Anthony-- beautiful voice, but he was pitchy tonight. Have heard him do better. He would have been better off doing the up tempo "Breaking Up is Hard To Do" that was actually released in 1962, instead of the one released in the 1970's/80's. I don't forsee him in the top 5.
Nadia--- she was AWESOME tonight. Perfect song, perfect stage presense, perfect outfit. Truly and inspired performance. The guys had better start looking at her as a serious threat!
Bo-- sold it as usual! Would love to see if he can pull of some other style of music, though. The song was perfect for his raspy rock style voice.
Vonzell-- looked like she was from the 60's, the outfit and hairstyle were perfect. Did a terrific job with the song. Definitely was her night!
Scott-- great song for him. He is starting to look a bit more comfortable on stage and is playing to the audience a bit better. His voice is great!
Carrie-- I know that Simon thinks it is great that she sticks with her musical style, but I am tired of hearing her sing the same type of song. She was boring, and has little to no stage presence. She just looks like she is up there going through the motions and riding the wave of Simon's praise. Time to go home!
Nikko-- nice to see him back. Love the Jackson 5 and was glad to see someone do something they performed. Thought he did a good job, especially considering he didn't have a whole week to prepare like the others.

Anyway, Bo and Constantine were both good tonight and got my vote. Nadia was also pretty good and Scott, Jessica and Vonzell did OK too. I think that Anwar just had an off night. The rest can leave IMO.

I am here on this thread for the first time. I would never watch this show except that my teenage daughter likes company while she watches, so I have been following along with her. I think this show is fixed (as well as all reality TV). Could someone please tell me why the girl Mikayla is in the top 12? She cannot sing at all and when you think of all the good singers you know in real life, or that were already kicked off, it just isn't right. She is beyond awful. She is there because the producers want her there (for some stupid reason). It is embarrassing to listen to her.
I like Lindsay, did you hear her sing Bonnie Raitt during the auditions? She has the best voice but has picked bad songs. Oh well, guess thats all I have to say.
