I've been trying to figure out who Constantine reminds me of.. something about the look and his height, being so tall... then it hit me last night. Anyone see the movie Airheads (and willing to admit it?LOL) Constantine reminds me of Brendan Fraser in that movie!

I don't know, I keep thinking Constantine looks like a long haired Howie Mandel.

I was watching the Project Runway finale last night, so I didn't get to watch the results show. The only person I saw eliminated was Melinda, and that poor girl looked like she went into shock. I went back to Runway after that.

Can you tell me what happened with Judd? I turned it on halfway through his performance, which I liked.

ilovedmb, what happened with judd was that the guys were sitting in two rows. ryan told the guys in the bottom row (where judd was sitting) to relax, and then called the top row up to stand with him. he went down the line in pairs, dragging it out, basically telling each guy "you....are.....safe." he got down to anwar and joe and it looked like one of them was going home and then all of a sudden he said "you're both safe. judd, you are out." it's kind of hard to explain but basically they made it look like judd was safe and then out of nowhere sent him home.

I really don't like the way they are telling them they are "out" this season! Poor Melinda looked like she was going to break down right there...I think they tell them 'from out of nowhere' that they are done. At least last season, they picked three and they had time to think about themselves being the ones out.

I don't know, maybe it is just me, but it seems so heartless this season

I thought that was absolutely awful! They already stressed out...now, even if they are told they are safe...they can't relax because they could be lying just to add to the "drama." I can see wanting to surprise the audience...but for Pete's sake!

I was home yesterday since my kids had a snow day and got to see all 4 who were kicked off on one day time talk show or the other. The one who I was sorriest to see go was Judd, who also probably not coincidentally was the one who took it the most graciously. I think he realizes getting that exposure, even though he didn't go further, certainly hasn't hurt his career. The other three seemed a tad whiny to me....I can understand their disappointment, but someone had to go, and it happened to be them. If I had been doing the picking, I wouldn't have picked either of the two girls to go (I would have picked Janay and the other girl who was on the block...Allison, maybe is her name?), and I would have picked David as the other guy to go. I really loved the interview I saw with Judd yesterday, apparently he's from New Orleans and loves thel funk/jazz/Dixieland genre, I'm sorry we won't be seeing more of him.

But the front row of guys wasn't told they were safe - they were told to relax. I noticed right away that Ryan hadn't actually said the word "safe".

So now, in addition to the stress of competition and the stay/go part they're going to have to play "Simon Says" (or I guess "Ryan Says" in this case). They're going to have listen carefully and mentally pick apart/second guess everything that he says.

I'm not happy about this three night spread out thing anyway, so the fact that the 'you're out' show is Wed at 9pm has made this an easy decision for me. I already watch WW and tape Alias so cannot manage a 3rd show. I'll watch the singing Mon and Tues but just read the results from Wed and spare myself their anguish.

Poor Melinda looked like someone punched her in the stomach... and I am sure that is how it felt... but looking back, she did give one of the weakest performances. The 2nd guy really didn't surprise me at all, he was one of the weakest, but I felt really bad for him when he was singing and got to the Goodbye part at the end... could that choice of song been prophetic? Sara had the opportunity to let America know that they had made a mistake, and she sang that song with less enthusiasm than I have ever seen anyone sing in my life. Gotta get over it, the show must go on... show them what you are made of! If any record producers who were looking for hot new talent saw that, she surely blew her chances. Maybe America was right and she is not a true performer. Which brings me to Judd.... he really rocked and I hope there were people "in the know" who were watching. He was at least as good as all the Stevie Wonder wannabes. Is there something about the Latino look that those who are voting don't like, or something... because both guys are of Latino origins.

I have 1 favorite girl and 3 favorite guys. The girl is Melissa (Las Vegas showgirl), and my favorite guys are Bo, Constantine and Anwar. I am much more impressed with the guys this year than the girls, and hate that only 6 guys will ultimately stay.... all that are left could easily make up most of the final 12. I just hope they get rid of that hyper , thinks she is Barbara Streisand, cheerleader.... she really gets on my nerves!

BTW, I also think that Constantine looks like Brendon Frasier when he was in Tarzan and had the great long hair... he doesn't look so good to me like he is now.

I didn't think Judd was Latino. I can't think of his last name but he didn't look Latino at all to me. Mario, on the other hand is very Latino looking and still received rave reviews from the judges and apparently a lot of votes. So I don't think there is a bias against Latinos. I would at least HOPE that the voters would cast their votes based on talent and not Ethnic backgrounds.

I really don't think Judd was Latino, but I could be wrong. But seriously, I doubt that all of America said they wouldn't vote for Jared or Judd b/c they were Latino. Not everyone is racist. My opinion had nothing to do with origins. I personally just didn't think Jared was good at all. And although I thought that Travis, Joseph, or David should have gone before Judd, he was my 5th choice to go. I really didn't see him as one of the final 6 guys left, but that's just me.

I think that you mean Amanda (the Vegas showgirl.) I like her too. I also am really ready for Mikalah (the cheerleader) to go. I have been waiting for her to get cut since her very first audition! I am praying she is gone next week!

My favorites this year:

Bo Bice - I loved his take on "Drift Away", and he has a great personality. I'd like to see a rocker win, pop isn't the only thing out there.
Carrie Underwood - I don't know how this girl hasn't been discovered yet! She has a beautiful voice, especially for country. It surprises me that noone really ever mentions anything about Josh Gracin from last season, but he's doing really well in country music.

My second favorite would be Constantine. Second favorite girl so far: Nadia Turner, but she also ties with Amanda. My least favorite? That Mikayla girl. My god, get that girl something for her hyperness! She's such a drama queen, and her voice is awful. She'd make a good comedien, but she's painful to watch.
