"Official" 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

You better be going on Halloween itself hoping for cold weather while being a FL native if those sleeves aren’t removable. I’ve literally seen people tearing off hot parts of their badly planned costumes as the party goes on during my Sept trips…
Yes they are removable. There is no way I would wear ones that I couldn't take off.

The Handsome Brute Cocktail looks good, but I'm not making an ADR just for that.

THB cocktail sounds so delish. I have an ADR for BOG in the morning of party day and wish they would offer it then.

DH and I are disneybounding Han and Leia.
DD21 and her friend are Pain and Panic. They bought rompers that were the right colors and are making horns, tails, and wings so they are kind of in between a costume and a disneybound.
DS25 has a Halloweeny looking t shirt based on the partners statue from the LostBros. He will also be wearing his Jack Skellington ears.
Going to the Aug 16th party. Our first party as we can never travel in the fall and decided against it last August since we had my nieces, one of whom was in a wheelchair with a broken leg. I did attend a Pirate and Princess party many years ago.

I am squeeing! Han and Leia, yes! You're gonna look great. ☺️

Do any of you recommend having a small lightweight tray for the eats from counter or quick service spots? I'll be solo and only intend to get one food item at a time and I don't get drinks with my food. So for just the cajun burger or the bucket of bones and two free hands, will the plate or bowl they're served in be sturdy enough while walking and chewing?

I did a search but could not find the answer. Is there a list of magic shots and meet and greets? I know there will be a brochure on site, but I'm trying to plan ahead. Thank you.

Yes, they seriously dress up at all parties. The smart ones dress for the blazing hot sun of the afternoon and rain potential. The ones who don’t think it through… you feel sorry for them. It’s pretty obvious who is melting.
Exactly why we’re going as Herc and Meg. Lightweight, heat friendly costumes for mid-September. I am a long time cosplayer, I have done impractical costumes before in awful summer weather. Absolutely not doing it again.

So how can you ride Tiana's or Tron for the party? I usually but an ILL to Tron before a party begins that day around 4-5 o'clock, but how is it with Tianas on a party night?

Should be interesting to see how long those wait times will be. They usually aren't bad on the party nights but I look forward to hearing how night 1 goes with that
My guess/hope is that at the first party or two, it should be shorter with the influencer crowd focused on new party-specific offerings…but it’s also going to be crazy hot, potentially increasing demand for TBA?

Does anyone know which order the parade route runs? I think last year the first parade started over at the edge of Frontierland?
The parade begins in Frontier land, in the opening just 'above' the Golden Oak Outpost, before the start of the theming for Tiana's Bayou. That portion of the street will be roped off, but you can stand on the side of the ropes. There's great viewing spots all along frontier land, and usually dedicated wheelchair viewing as it goes over the bridge in Liberty Square across from Sleepy Hollow Cafe. From there it goes around the hub, down main street, and then around by Tony's to the train station and out by the fire house.

Thank you for this info. The parade is one thing we want to be able to see. We are more interested in it then the fireworks honestly.

We're going for the first time in October and I would love to dress up but afraid it won't cool down enough by the time we go lol.
Same going for first time in early October. What are the general temps and humidity around that time for those that frequent Disney around then? Any chance it could be relatively "cool"

No. Almost no chance. Source: grew up in Florida. You might hit 84 or even 82, but don't expect to get out of the 80s until after the sun goes down. Humidity will still be high. If you get lucky (good or bad luck, depending on your POV) you might hit a hurricane that drops the temps and pulls the humidity out of the area immediately before or after the storm. Expect temps in the mid-80s, with high humidity. That's still the right time of year for an afternoon thunderstorm, but definitely keep an eye on the weather while you pack the week before. Honestly, though I can count on my hand the number of Halloweens when it was cool enough to wear jeans instead of jean shorts.

And I'll add the exception: I was at MNSSHP last Nov 1. It was downright cold. I wore a long sleeved shirt under my sun dress and was still chilled. So I guess there is a chance, it's just really really small.
