"Official" 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

In previous years it has been as early as 4:30, no guarantees though. There will be long lines just to get into the party, then a lot of people will head to the line, which grows fast. For a shorter wait, you need to be one of the first to enter at 4 PM. Maybe line up around 3:15? Bring an umbrella for the sun!
That sounds like a plan, Thank you! and I never go anywhere without my UV umbrella! ;)

In case anyone was wondering we have a member of our party who had no valid ticket media for the day of the first party except a party ticket. We were not able to get any lightning lanes for him and the system did not recognize him as having day ticket media. I expected this but tried just for fun.
That is surprising and a little disappointing, because in years past, a MNSHP or MVMCP ticket along would give you access to Genie+ during that 4-6 window. Hope this changes.

They did stop this last year, so it's not completely new.

It is a nice perk for party goers, but it does kind of suck for people with regular tickets who already have limited hours and therefore limited LLMP/LLSP.

This changed in Jan 2024. Since then, guests with only an after hours ticket (AH, MNSSHP, MVMCP, etc.) are no longer eligible to purchase LLMP or LLSP with only an AH ticket. I would not anticipate this changing.

I'm disappointed that Zombie Fingers (hazelnut sauce) aren't on the menu. :sad1: I really wanted to try them. Looks like they changed them to Witches Fingers (apple flavored dip), which I'm not enthused about. Oh well.

Has anyone had any luck switching MNSSHP tickets to a different date after purchase? We have to move our trip up by about two weeks.

I have some kind of weird aversion to calling Disney (preferring to do everything online myself). Before I attempt to call I'd like to know what to expect. Thanks

The Handsome Brute Cocktail looks good, but I'm not making an ADR just for that.

You will easily be able to do this by calling as long as you are switching to a party that is not sold out.

Yes it is easy if there is availability to what you are switching to. I had to do this for our trip the first week of Sept. The call was easy but you will have to pay the difference for the new date. Luckily there wasn't one for mine.

Do not delay the call. If the party is sells out you won’t be able to get tickets.

I’ve been following this group for months but this is my first post! We are heading to Disney next week with our three kids, ages 13, 10, and 8 ( his birthday was yesterday ). We’ve been a few times before, most recently June 2022. This is our first Halloween party and we are so excited but it has been CRAZY trying to get all five of us to agree on a costume theme. We considered Disney villains, peanuts characters, Star Wars, Toy Story, but finally agreed on Duck Tales. My kids are going as Huey, Duey, and Louie and my husband and I are going as Donald and Daisy. It’s so hard to find costumes that will accommodate the heat but we are going to give it a whirl!

Can’t wait to try the treats, see the parades, and make more amazing family memories before heading back to school right when we get home (I’m a teacher). Thanks for all the great info and discussion here!

Welcome! Be sure to post afterwards and let us know how it went—have a wonderful trip!

More dates are starting to sell out! Saw 8/23 sold out yesterday and 9/13 today.

For costumes, DH and I are disneybounding Donald and Daisy on 9/2. We were going to do the stretching portraits like usual, but we plan on riding Tron (the party is our only chance to ride it) and I dunno if the tightrope girl dress is gonna work well for that. lol I'm staying an extra day so I'll be doing the 9/6 party solo and for that one I'll be doing a Halloween StellaLou disneybound.
