Official 2017 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend!

OK, since this is my first go at a Coast to Coast, I'm going to be lazy and ask here instead of searching for the answer. :) How do you go about getting the coast to coast? I don't remember seeing that asked on the registration, so how does Disney know I'm qualifying for C2C so I get my additional medal?

At packet pickup, you'll get a wristband that says Coast to Coast on it. When you finish the half, there will be a tent just like the race weekend challenge tents (like Goofy), you just walk in there, show them your wristband and they give you your medal!

There are C2C backdrops for PhotoPass pictures right outside the medal tent.

This isn't a great answer...but they just know. :wizard: There used to be some box to check during registration, but they stopped doing that. If you don't get the wristband at packet pick-up, fuss at them.

Can you provide a link to the Tink green tech shirt? I have been trying to buy a RunDisney long-sleeve tech shirt, but it has been out of stock for my size.

Just checking in! I'm off to the Bay Area for Ragnar Napa Valley! Hoping this has been the motivation I need to really get back into the training and keep it going so I can actually be ready for Tink next year. This is my final event of 2016 and I'm a little sad about that.

I'm considering signing up for this. We already have a trip to DL Paris planned for their marathon weekend. The Castle to Chateau medal is very enticing...just have to see if I can convince my hubby to spend that much money in one year!!

Well, my ticker is pointing out that it is now 6 months until the Tinkerbell Half Marathon. For those of you running the 5k and/or 10k...you are officially less than 6 months away!!!
(weird feeling not frantically trying for dining reservations right now...but also a great feeling that I don't have to frantically try for dining reservations right now.)

Are there any other 6 month date things at DL to worry about? Probably not, right?

Nope!

Let's see...
ADRs at 60 days out
whenever your paid-in-full date is (45 days if you book onsite through runDisney I think?)
Proof of Time due by February 14, 2017
Arrange transportation from the airport

I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff...

Obsessively waiting for the medal releases!

So at SuperHeroes weekend they started to change the menus at some of the restaurants for "marathon weekend" - so I don't know if this trend will continue, but be warned your favorites may not be available. We walked out of Steakhouse 55 because "Two Times Four" wasn't on the breakfast menu and I didn't want to pay an upcharge for Mickey Waffles or other platters that didn't have what we wanted. So we walked out... :rolleyes1

That's dumb ... that's like the most basic breakfast plate to make.

Were they changing it to include healthier options? Because as a runner, I can tell you that AFTER a race the only option I want is "ALL of the FOOD" I've "earned" the "good stuff"!
