For whatever reason, my modify/change button went away when I switched resorts. If I call, is there a way for them to add it back?

We're staying at the Poly also, hoping our dates for late November into December are offered like last year!!!

Oh good... we are staying at Poly this year. The standard room is currently $490/night, but we're splitting that cost with my mom. So FD would make this entire vaca or we might have to drop to a mod/value. Haha.

I was informed by a CM that "when" free dining is offered and if my dates fall within the time period that I would also keep the price of the original reservation, I booked before the price increases and now for the same package I have it's more than $600 more than what I have booked now...so that's one advantage of booking early....maybe.....but I'll believe what I was told if and when it actually is time to modify it.

I would love for this to be true as I booked before the increase, also, but from everything that I have seen/heard we will be paying the increased price "when" we add FD. But I will hope for a miracle that that CM was right!

Yup...I'm cool with it though, were a family of 5 and I got 3 sons that are always ready to eat 16,14,8, when we travel they will be 17,15,9, we will still save a significant amount of money though!!!

I've been reading another thread where the OP asked whether anyone has ever cut their trips short due to crowds. They actually left early because they felt the parks were too crowded! Huh...can you imagine?

i read that as well. i couldn't imagine leaving. i would of just stayed at the pool worst case scenerio

I can't figure out why I've booked already.

If you're going with or without FD, then it makes sense to book now and book exactly what you want. That way you have what you want. FD may not even be available for your dates, and if your dates are not flexible, you want to have what you want and not what you might need for FD.

If you're only going with FD, then you might as well wait and book when FD is released.

Sounds like a "rookie" issue.....lol.....don't take it the wrong way, I was one years ago also.....those days were expensive too.....

I wouldn't count on this. FD requires rack rate on the room and current price on tickets.

On the Disney website under My Disney Experience if you view your reservation there is a cancel and a change button. I have used the "Change Reservation" in the past to apply the free dining offer once it is available.

Does anyone who booked a BB have a modify button? The last few years I always booked online and had one but this year with the BB I don't. It doesn't matter because I'm already planning on just booking another reservation and canceling but just curious if all BBs are excluded from modifying online.

No button for bouncebacks. You have to call to modify.

I think there is currently an issue with the modify button. Some people have them and some don't. No rhyme or reason for it.

It would be nice, but likely false information. This was not the case last year. I had to pay the price increase to get free dining.

Does anyone know how has the availability for 2 bedroom villas been at ss or okw. That is my backup if we can't get into a moderate or if we have to get royal rooms to get free dining. We have 6 adults and 2 children.
