PotC, PPF, and HM

Is there much of a wait for PPF during the party? At DL there are normally huge lines for it but it is almost a walk-on during the Halloween party.

When will they announce which princesses/princes would make their appearances? If it's just going to be the usual princesses, I'd FP them and save precious party time

Late August...maybe. And then only if they don't change their mind again. We were supposed to be meeting Flynn and Rapunzel (based on 2013 party). Then it changed to Maleficent and Aurora (based on August character announcement). Then nobody (based on addition of extra price Villain party).

We will be going to the first party on Sept 15th. Would you expect it to be very busy, or even sold out, or since it's the first party of the year should it not be that crowded?

There is still PLENTY to do to fill that time. Just don't have any "must dos" until the parties start and the character meets are known for sure. The only characters we met were Pooh and friends and Donald/Goofy. This year we may avoid character lines completely (we are going to Chef Mickey's brunch before the party).

I haven't started yet! I wanted to make it myself, but I just started sewing(I'm actually working on a Rapunzel costume too, which isn't amazing, but it's a good start) so I'll be buying my gown online. My bf's tunic I'll be sewing for him. But for my dress, I'm actually going to dye it half blue(it's the pink version) so that it looks like the mess that the fairies make. Once I finish my Rapunzel one, I'll be starting the Halloween ones!

Finished the wording on one of our MNSSHP bags last night. Still waiting on a recordable chip for the inside of the bag. If my plan works, whenever we open them they will play the line "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day". I bought 5 of the modules just in case I mess one up when trying to get the placement right. Lol! Did you know that when you can't find a small enough paintbrush, a toothpick will work? I now know that. Lol! Here is the outside...

That is really very clever. Reminds me an excellent snow white and Cinderella I saw last year who also had clever bags. Cinderella's was a pail with small cleaning supplies but under that she had all the items she'd usually carry in her purse. Snow had a basket of flowers.

Except theirs didn't play any music.

I want to know this as well. Still cant make a decision between the 15th or 18th party. In previous years was the first party busy compared to an early season Friday party?

There are no FPs for the party. You can do FPs from 4-7 (or earlier if you're using a Park ticket for the day) and the Party is from 7-12am

YES!!!! A lot of people just use their party ticket as their park admission for the day, so they get in at 4:00 or later. So most people stay for the entire party,

The half pink, half blue version is on my to-cosplay list! I can't wait to see how yours turn out. Have you dyed anything before? Be careful when buying your gown online as some fabrics cannot be dyed easily, if at all. Too bad you're not going as Rapunzel, she's one of my favorites. I just started sewing, too. Self-taught myself just to make costumes!!!

This is so amazing it deserved to be quoted several times! The painting alone blew me away. So creative and you even got the "Walt Disney" perfectly. Did you do that with a toothpick? The writing looks smooth. I thought a toothpick would be out of "ink"/paint quite quickly and won't be able give you a smooth line. And the pre-recorded chips! How did you even come up with that clever idea? I love your creativity and attention to details. How do the chips work? Is it battery-operated?

These posts are so inspiring. I need to up my game. I'm still making the dress. Haven't styled or dyed the wig. Need ideas for the bag and shoes (Elsa's icy gown and chunky athletic sneakers don't mix!). So much to do, so little time
