FWIW, I don't think I'm going to use their viewing area. If it's where I think it is, it isn't all that great and it will be crowded. I also don't think the hub is the best place to watch Wishes, but that is just me. Don't ask me where the best place is though, LOL, that is a secret I'm keeping guarded lest everyone else catch on. We're always the only ones there.

It's okay to just tell us. We'll keep it here, among friends!

I was told today when I booked that the parade viewing is in front of the castle stage and the Wishes location is the same as the FP + viewing area. Agree this probably isn't the best spot to watch Wishes, but with 2 kids I'm for anything that saves time and might be less crowded!

We'll likely pass on the Villains Soirée. It just doesn't fit with the way we tour during MNSSHP.

I have a feeling that the reserved spot for the parade won't be great unless you can get to that spot early for a curbside seat. I'd rather watch the second parade from Frontierland.

Also, that area is too close to the castle for a good view of HalloWishes. I never try to "hold down" a spot for the MK fireworks as we've always been able to find a spot on Main Street for the fireworks as close as 3 to 5 minutes before showtime.

We arrive on the 29th, so the the 30th will be our first full park day. Now I have to manage to snag a Chef Mickey's or Cape May (when Minnie is there) any day except the 30th for dinner, or any day except the 1st for breakfast. I don't think I'm asking for much

DH and I are going on October 28th. Just bought our tickets! We are going as young Carl and Ellie from Up! No reservations, just trying to do and see as much as possible!

That's the night I'm going, I'll be Aurora / Sleeping Beauty in her peasant outfit, Hubby will be a DisneyBounding Prince Phillip with a red Tshirt and Res hat. He won't do the cape haha

Hi, everyone! I will be updating the list tonight! I still have SOOOO much to do for my Black Widow costume. I'm making progress, but the accessories are taking forever. Here is a sneak peak, but I have on no makeup other than the first tube of lipstick I could find. Belts, holsters, bullet bracelets, and fabric guns are still under construction. I also need to get my non-smile look down. That is actually the hardest part!

I can now update our costumes. Me -- Minnie; DH -- Mickey (really "suggestive" of Mickey); DS6 and DS3 - Spiderman...though they may change their minds and go in cap and gown (DS6) and Mickey (DS3) at the last minute. No ADR, plan to eat at CHH before the party starts.

I know this really doesn't fit in here, but I'm hoping someone can answer. We purchased tix for the Sep 1 MNSSHP. Now there is 80% chance of rain forecast on that day. While I know that can change at any time, if it does storm, are we just out of luck? Or do they hold some of the events inside? We leave Sept 6th so going to another date is not possible since we live in Texas.

They do not cancel the party for weather, but there is a chance that some of the events (parade, fireworks) could be delayed or cancelled. Yes, there are some M&G that are inside, and some rides are indoors, but a good deal of the festivities will be outside in the elements, so I would definitely recommend packing ponchos. However, this is the time of year when it rains almost every day in Florida, but it's usually quick, so you will probably be fine. It rained four out of five days on our last vacation and we still had a great trip! The rain kept the crowds and the humidity down

We will be at the party on Oct 30th - 4 adults and 2 H.S teens. DD is going as the 11th Dr (Dr. Who). DS is going as Clark Kent/Superman. Adults, not sure.

Anyway-- I know there are big changes to the party this year-- anyone know where they are all posted in one place?? Someone mentioned Maleficent greeting with Aurora this year???

Check the Disney Parks Blog for what has been released so far. Once the first party happens (Monday) someone will post the party map so we can officially see everything. But yes, PFH will have Anna & Elsa on one side, Aurora & Maleficent / Snow White & Evil Queen on the other.
