BTW, I have been bawling my eyes out watching the closing ceremony. BEsides being sad it's over, I am just a weepy emotional wreck watching the highlights of the games!

I know! We had ours here in Atlanta and we would love for the olympics to be back in the US.

I do have to say that I'm glad that the Olympics ended before school started. That wasn't the case for Athens and my kids got no sleep.

I've been a very vocal critic of the state of Texas moving the school start date back to the last Monday in August...but at least it worked out well with the Olympics!

That is a big plus....we start back early cause they have a fall breack an sometimes snow days.

It's not far from me either. I would love to see them get it. Though my dad seems to think that Rio de Janeiro will win it. But I'm still crossing my fingers for Chicago!
