I think the contestants DO read comments on the internet, probably the stylists do too. The TwoP (Telivision without Pity) boards and Fans of Reality TV boards are two of the biggies. I think that's why Jasmine's flower disappeared. It hasn't made Diana stop saying "C'mon Y'all" yet though, I don't think she can help herself.

I would enjoy a Fantasia/Diana finale. Fantasia can pull out some incredible singing on ballads like "Summertime", and the one that made Paula cry. Loved both of those, she's got the most interesting voice. Sorry, LaToya doesn't do anything for me either. Told my DH that she's got one of those voices that are perfect for commercial jingles. Really pretty and perfect, and you'd never guess who it is singing.

That said, I think Fantasia is going to be the one to go tonight. She didn't have one of her best performances last night, and she's been second to last several times. She doesn't have the fan base that Jasmine does, and I think she's still splitting the diva vote with LaToya.

I'd bet on Diana to win this thing. Her momentum is too strong to stop. And she actually sounded like La Streisand on a couple of notes last night. Girl's got all kinds of vocal power there. I don't mind a few annoying mannerisms in a 16 year old! Or a 19 year old either, for that matter.

Fantasia still annoys me. I do not like her voice at all. I hope she goes home tonight, even though it will probably be Jasmine, who I like. LaToya is still my favorite, and I am now beginning to like Diana more.

Poor Jas. Simon & Randy didn't have to be so cruel towards her. Poor thing. Had her crying on stage. I felt sooo bad for her that I even voted for her last night.

Latoya did good as always. She should be the next American Idol. Fantasia was good too. Didn't care for her outfit. Now Diana, she did pretty good. I don't think it was the best performance of the night. For some reason she's not my #1 pick. It's just something about her singing. I think she yells a lot in her songs. Give her a few years and she'll do fine in the music industry. Latoya & Fantasia seem more professional to me. I wouldn't be surprised if Diana is in the final 2. The judges seem to really like her. I pray Latoya makes it.

Looks as if LaToya and Fantasia split the vote and both ended up on the short end. . .I can NOT believe that Jas is still there--cute girl--just not worthy regardless of how little I like Fantasia. Diana deserves to be in the top 3--but definitely not Jas. . .

Have you noticed that every time the judges crucify someone, they end up being safe. When will the judges learn?

Poor Jasmine's emotions must be going through a roller coaster ride!

Nothing shocks me anymore. I'm not shocked. It's the nature of the show. Kimberly Locke and Tamyra Gray were voted off before the finale. They were great too. It happens.

But what does bother me, is how the judges, Ryan and the audience make those that are not in the bottom (like Jasmine) who they think 'should' be, feel guilty. I'm sick of it. They should just face the fact that this is the way the show is. I don't think it's right or fair to make John Stevens, Jasmine, Josh, or anyone else feel bad that they made it another week. It's not there fault for goodness sake.

I couldn't believe it when I saw Paula crying. Give me a break!

I'm rooting for Diana now!!!

I'm outraged!!!! I think this is the last time I'm watching this show. This reminds me of Tamyra & Nikki. When Tamyra got kicked off.

I can't believe that Latoya is gone!! I also think the voting is fixed. I tried voting for Latoya last night and the line was busy all night! What is up with that. Jasmine is sweet, I didn't like the way Simon abused her, but she should've been in the bottom 2 at least!!!!!!!! Latoya can sing waay better than Jasmine & Fantasia. This is bizarre. Now I hope Jasmine wins the whole thing. Serves Simon right. Is it me or does Diana seem too giddy when they tell her she's safe. I think it's a bit rude to the other contestants who aren't safe. Like the time she hop & skip to the couch when she was told she was safe. I'm in shock! I could tell Paula and Randy were disappointed too.

I wonder what next week's voting will be like? I'm guessing that all of those who were voting for Latoya will now start voting for Fantasia, all of Hawaii will keep voting for Jasmine, and poor Diana will be left out in the cold.

It will never be the same without LaToya.

It was very emotional for Paula. She knows that LaToya should up there in the hot seat. Glad to see Randy to comfort her. Randy was upset too. I couldn't help but to cry too. IMO LaToya was and always will be the best. I don't think it is worth watching next weeks AI...without LaToya there's not much competition

LaToya...I will buy your album and see you at your concert!!

If Jasmine wins this... What a scarry thought!

I know I will no longer watch the show. Why watch 3 singers who I don't like. I think Diana has a good voice but not a star voice. Too young and southern. Fantasia also doesn't appeal to me and Jasmine really doesn't have a good voice. Well, I hope the producers are happy when they put money into the winners contracts. I can't imagine the power dialers buying 100 copies of the CD's

All I can say is, as soon as Ryan started the show off saying, "welcome to the always unpredictable American Idol", I knew it was either LaToya or Fantasia that would be going. LaToya was my favorite and did not deserve to go. She sang her swan song beautifully, which made me angrier that she was the one to go. I honestly don't get it. AI really needs to consider a different way of voting. Whether it's to vote for the person to be kicked off or only allow one vote per household, something needs to be done.
