Simon is so right, it's not comedy idol, does JPL really make it in the music business. Can't stand this guy or John Stevens, I rather see George win and I'm not a big fan of him either.

Jennifer was awesome. JPL was painful for me, and Diana did not impress me this time. But the best is yet to come!

She was holding back her talent in the earlier shows. She knows that everyone (judges and public) like performers that improve during the competition.

I missed the first few. I came in when Daina was singing (I forgot it was on) Fantasia was good tonight....and I am not a fantasia fan. I'm waiting to see the recap for the others.

I liked John tonight...he seemed so much more comfortable singing this stuff.

John Peter Lewis was good, and Jon Stevens, and of course, Fantasia. Diana and Jasmine were both so-so, wasn't impressed at all, they will be in the bottom 3.

Wow. Maybe I'm just in a good mood (which I am, mind you ), but I think everybody's doing relatively well tonight.
I thought George did pretty well, but not as good as the rest tonight once I heard them.
Jennifer was just plain awesome.
JPL was actually pretty good because it fit his style and his trademark dancing.
Diana was okay, but she's no Kim Locke.
Fantasia though, oh man. I have never been a fan of her's. I don't like her personality, her looks, or her voice. BUT I think her rendition of that song was fabulous. I could feel through the tv that she was feeling it from her heart.
Jasmine was only so-so.
My Johnny just did a heart-warming version of a great song! Yay!!
I'm glad LaToya got rid of the hair extensions, she's really very pretty. She was fantastic as usual.

I have not liked Fantasia but I got to go with her as best tonight.
Jennifer was great too!
George I was disappointed with.

JPL is my choice for worst of the night...not that he was all that bad...its just that everyone else was better

All I can say is - I wish Fantasia didn't sing so good. She was absolutely stellar tonight - but her personality still grates on me a little. Although tonight she showed some vulnerability and I thought that was impressive.

But there were a few surprises tonight. George didn't do too well - I think he just picked the wrong song.

JPL actually was fun to watch - I think he might drag in some extra votes this evening.

John Stevens was in his groove for sure. I thought he looked and sounded great.

Jasmine and Diana - ooh, hate to say it, but they were a little weak.

Jennifer and LaToya both sounded excellent - hard to say which was better between the two.

All in all, an entertaining night of AI.

My choice for lowest three would be Diana, JPL and Jasmine. My favourites were La Toya and Fantasia.

Did anyone notice how Simon was picking on the younger kids tonight? I felt bad for them. Hey, they can't help it they're young. If that's a problem, then maybe AI shouldn't let anyone under the age of 18 into the competition.

Yeah Simon kept bringing up their age with them...not really fair. They didn't make the rules for the show.

I have not been a fan of Fantasia or LaToya but both were very good tonight. Somewhere is not an easy song to sing!

I agree that Jasmine and Diana were both off tonight...even though Jasmine was better.

I didn't see Jennifer, just the recap and of course during that they showed her pop eyed expression so that just turned me off. I wish I would have heard the whole thing. I have to listen to her, but not watch her sing.

I also missed George...what did he sing?

Yeah for John S. Standing ovation from Neil Sadaka...I'm impressed.

Quenton was ok for a guest host...he was pretty honest and didn't sugar coat anything.

Only saw a bit of JPL on the recap...another Elvis song. Did he do his silly dance?

Bottom 3...maybe Diana, Jasmine and JPL? who knows who will leave..it's a hard one this week.

OK--I knew I could count on your guys to fill me in best--so I didn't tape the show! I was at my son's FIRST Little League Game--he did great!

But, I digress...I need some good recaps:

1) what did each sing

2) any ugly outfits

3) how many times did Jennifer's eyes pop out of her head

4) Who got the loudest crowd support

5) Who got blasted by Simon

6) Who heard good things from Simon

Basically, tell me as much as you can--PLEASE--I need my AI fix

I have not ready anyones thoughts yet.....wanted to post my first.

Ok, sorry for all of you John (red) fans.....I can NOT stand to listen to him sing again! There is something about his voice that makes me cringe. Yeah he did do good tonight with the song he chose, just not my kind of music to listen to!!

George - liked him, not as good as last week but I like him.

LaToya - Love love her, she has been one of my favorites from the beginning. She did really good tonight.

JPL - usually dont care for him but I thought he did very well tonight.

Jennifer - yawn

Fantasia - I have not liked her from day one but WOW, she was excellent tonight!!!!!!

Diana and Jamsine - usally like them, especially Jas but they are not impressing me lately.

So.....I am routing for LaToya and George!!!

I found myself thinking along the same lines as Simon - very very scary!

Please, please, please....John Stevens has to go! They might as well place a cardboard cutout of him up there. He has zero personality and is like a wet dishrag when he talks. I mean even Clay Aiken's personality improved as last year's competiton progressed! Although my 8 year old daughter just loves him!

Go Fantasia!....Go Fantasia! Woohoo! I have been a fan of hers since the auditions. She was awesome tonight!

Also liked John Stevens, but I like that kind of music. (Have I mentioned I LOVE Bing Crosby?? Also all the old crooners. ) I don't think he has a chance of winning this contest, but I can't wait to see what he does in a few years when he comes into his own!

Sad to see George pick the wrong song tonight. LaToya was great tonight too!

Okay, I know there are alot of JPL fans out there, but WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH HIS POPULARITY? I just don't get it. His voice is average at best. I think people are keeping him in b/c they think he is goofy (in a good way) or cute? I don't think he is either, by the way.

If we're talking voice (not personality), I think these are the best...Fantasia, La Toya, Jennifer, and George.

Personality-wise, I like these three the best...George, Jasmine, and John.
