Sorcmickey, you always get what is on your list. you just have to stop adding to everyday. :earboy2:

Are you shopping for me, as well? Oh! This could be fun! LOL! ;)

I've officially decided that the VESPR Theory will have no real effect on my life and therefore that 1.5 hour long Chem class was a complete and total waste of my time. Except that 20 minutes I spent practicing conducting my one pattern while conducting an imaginary choir (necessary for conducting the Waltz of the Snowflakes in the Nutcracker, btw).

As the other million things to do...Dis'ing gives me much greater happiness. :D

Pumpkinfish, I totally agree. Santa Claus The Movie has to be my all time Christmas favourite. I now have it on DVD and put it on to get into the festive mood. In England they seem to show it every year and I still do not tire of it.

Happy Christmas to all - It's December 1st tomorrow woot woot :Pinkbounc

Ok, so something funny/interesting happened to me just now :rotfl:

(Knock knock) "UPS!"

I open the door and sign off on accepting two packages. Both are from Dell. I double check to make sure they are for us (since I have not ordered anything from them...and DH had not mentioned ordering anything from them), and they are both addressed to my DH.

So the wheels begin turning...
I am THIS close to opening one of the boxes and decide to call DH.
"Hey, did you order something from Dell?"
"Wha? What are you talking about?"
"UPS just came and we have something here from Dell. One box says something about a printer."
"There is only one box?!"
"No, there are two"
"-Did you open it? Don't open it!"
"I didn't open it, don't worry...sheesh"
"Darn, alright, love you"
"Love you too"

So, the $100,000 question of the day- what did he get me for Christmas?!?!

:rotfl: :cool1: :rotfl:

So, the real question is......Is the box bigger than a breadbox?!

Today I got to go Christmas shopping for some of the needy kiddies in a neighboring town! My kids raised $66 dollars, which I thought was pretty good! :) I bought a bunch of card games and some Koosh balls for the four kids we sponsored. We will make our own wrapping paper and cards tomorrow. Woot! :)

That's nice to hear Friend! Always makes my heart happy to see kids helping out other kids who may be in need.

And Tishke...yes...BOTH boxes are! :earseek:
But I doubt he bought another 360 ;)

You poor girl!!! Most trainers (in my experience) are dumber than a box of rocks, if that is even possible. The best thing out of work - will be your co-workers. They will help you get that reality check. It seems that you have a nice crew you are starting with. Good Luck with your job. More on's (vmk speak) always make your day fun. lol

I think out of 8 hours today we spent about, maybe, one hour learning. We had more supervisors come in and introduce themselves, and of course they wanted to know us so we had to talk about ourselves AGAIN. I think by the end of training we will know each other better than our own families! Oh I was gonna ask what "on's" meant....but I get it now..."more on's". Hehehe.

i'm searching things for xmas, i search playstation on the tesco website and i come up with this book: Hacking the PSP : Serious Hacks, Mods and Customizations for Sony's Playstation Portable

sounds fun :) it says for the description: Over 500,000 Sony PlayStation Portables were sold in their first two days on the market. Hacks include adding an external Wi-Fi antenna, saving Xbox games on the PSP, transferring movies and TiVo-recorded shows to it, and running Linux on a PSP. This book shows readers how to access the hidden Web browser and surf the Web on a PSP, turn it into a USB hard drive, add solar power, and use a PSP as a universal remote control. It gives readers the information they need to create their own PSP hacks.

anyone think of playing VMK on their PSP?

also there's a band over here called girls aloud. They have a new album called chemistry and a new single called biology. The question is do they like chemistry or biology more? and do they hate physics?

I was wondering whether all there songs had a school theme like Maths, English or German :rotfl:
So pleased to see another UK VMK and Dis lover, woohoo :Pinkbounc

yeah i just thought of a new song for them involving I.C.T

-sings to love machine- i just love I.C.T, it is my specialty, play on computers for free, this time now oh, microsoft word now, to write up my conclusion now, and that's all i've made up now :)

That's great! What about one involving Physical Education, that would make an interesting song. :rotfl:

How in the world does a person get a swollen taste bud, and why do they hurt so bad!? :confused3

That doesn't sound right ("swollen taste bud").

Are you sure it's not a blocked salivary duct? Those can be blocked by little calculi (rocks) that form from salts and whatnot in saliva. And yes, I could imagine that'd be painful.

rofl, you had to get all doctor technical on me ;) I have no idea if that is what it is or not. Wednesday night I ate dinner at the mall, nothing spicy or hot or out of the norm. Woke up yesterday with it being sore. Good thing there is anbesol in the house.

Who me? Technical? Never ;)

It's on your tongue? Weird...

If it's under your tongue, or on the inside of your cheek, and it hurts more when you eat a lemon drop, it's probably a blocked salivary duct. Oh wait, you don't want technical.. Umm, a clogged spit tube?

Hmm, this is degenerating rapidly.
