It's on the very edge of my tongue and yeah, it burns when I eat sour...or salty. Hmmm...now off to research how to fix this blocked spit tube. Thank you oh wise Be for your invaluable knowledge of spit tubes :) You simply must appear more now, we need you! rofl

Ok, so DH and I just got back from the movies. We went and saw Walk The Line. Now, I come from a long line of Johnny Cash fans (parents, grandparents, heck- even great grandparents). This was music I grew up on during long car trips to and from Ohio and Florida. I must say this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It has soul, it has love, it has darkness. Most of all it has love (not mushy love...deep soul wrenching love that hurts so good you want to scream). I was singing and stomping my foot the entire movie. I must warn you though, there should have been a road sign before the movie
"Caution- Major Waterworks Ahead"
:umbrella:

But yes, even if you are not a fan- or even know that much about Cash's life...PLEASE go see this movie. It is amazing!!! :goodvibes

We've just switched over to POR for the Zeta trip. I'm excited to hear that there are towel animals being given out. I haven't yet gotten one!

This was our 1st ever towel animal. I was just so impressed at how clean the room was and that the towels on the rack were arranged real fancy. I gave a $10 tip the 1st night. That next day we got the towel animals!

DH and I just booked the DVC 2006 Member Cruise!! :cloud9: It will be our first cruise together and our first real trip without the kids.
I am SO excited!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Good News: My weird tongue is getting better. DH said it looks like I cut or burned it, but it feels remarkably better. Sour and spicy foods here I come!

Puzzling News: Every year at Christmas, we would all treck out to a tree farm and pick our tree. In fact, this was DS6 most favorite part of the holidays. This year, the closest tree farm is in SC, and we can't exactly drive that far thrown in the back of DH's car. (this ONE time I wish we had an SUV) So, we got our tree at WalMart. Not bad...it's a 7 foot Fraser Fir. It still feels fresh and smells so good. We cut off a chunk of the trunk and put it in the stand with lots of water overnight to let it fall so I can decorate it today (the boys are not allowed to decorate rofl, they have their own tree....something about me being crazy about how they hang two same colored balls next to each other. I have no clue what they mean  ) The tree has barely drooped. Come on tree! Work with me here! I have decorations to put on you!! :confused3

At least you got a real tree! We ended up with a 36 inch $10 fiberoptic tree. The toddler would not leave the trees alone. Starwarskid thinks this tree is great. He always wanted colored lights, and I have always had them all white lights. I'm hoping we can still put up our old artificial tree (14 years old). I got the cutest carousel ornaments from my secret Zeta mail pal, and I really want to use them!!

Glad to hear your tongue is getting better! Nothing worse than a sore tongue!! LOL!

Your post about decorating your Christmas tree made me laugh! Sounds so much like me. I do, however, let my boys help in the decorating (I'd feel so bad making them sit on the couch while I did all the work! They don't have their own tree - but that sounds like a GOOD idea! Lol!) BUT as soon as they go the bed, most of those ornaments magically get switched around and moved to different spots... Hmmm....

anybody want some snow? How about all of it?

white christmas my patootie, it'll be warmer and raining here by then, always is.

Well if you all want to see how bad its snowing here right now, turn on the football game at 9 (est). We only live about 10 minutes from the stadium (on the jersey side of the delaware river lol).

Where's global warming when we need it? :rotfl2: ;)

Dude!!

Want to meet me for a snowball fight?!

I love **SNOW** :cold:

The snow is all yours :) We had a balmy 74 degree day here. Partly sunny, but clouds are moving in. There should be rain later tonight. We have a cold front coming in and temps are going to dip all the way down to the mid 60's! BRRR! ;)

I moved here from a year of living in Northern Virginia and a 3 year sentence before that in Cherry Hill, NJ. I am *thrilled* to be in Florida now, where I belong :)

I grew up in the Mid-Atlantic with the crazy weather there and I don't miss it a bit. I'm willing to risk a few months of hurricanes for never ever seeing snow again.

I saw all the snow headed NJ's way. I am so jealous. Here we had thunderstorms and the threat of tornadoes. I will gladly trade :goodvibes

Does my checking my old NJ zipcode weekly to see if they are getting snow give away how much I love it!?

I am SO with you on that one. Ugh, cant stand the snow. So much in fact that my family has nicknamed me Heatmizer lol. I'm bascially miserable from decemeber to may, but hey i can admit it lol.

What did i ask santa for this year? same as every year, a TAN! lol. I'd much rather be stringing lights in the palm trees and singing silent night with my toes in the sand, but hey thats just me. ;)

And bella, we can have a snowball fight. We used to do it all the time as kids. Of course my brother and I would always make a bunch of snowballs, dip them in a bucket of cold water, and then let them sit outside for about an hour, before taking them in buckets to my friends field for the snowball fight. Hey, everybody plays dirty when its a snowball fight. :rotfl2:

I'm with DisAeryn! Moved here in part to escape it!! I'll stick to Disney style snow...bubbles!

Ok I am with you on needing to move away from the snow. But I have to admit, when I woke up this morning to my surprise my street was clear of snow. I must have a public works employee who lives on my street. Also, no peeps on the road to work - so I was very happy about that. I think this is just the start of a very bad winter. :(

thanks for the heads up Dude, I have been known to make a mean frozen snowball!

Dude, I think the Eagles have flown the coop... :guilty:
