Boy, I do not miss snow. The other day I was watching this old video I found from when I was in college in NC, I was snowed into my apartment ALONE for 3 days....my roommate was with her folks and my boyfriend at the time was snowed in near his work...I had no snow gear so I couldn't go play in the snow with the other college kids in my complex...I was just sitting at home in my PJ's for 3 days. The video is of cars out the window trying to get "unstuck" and make it up the road, which was uphill. It was the most exciting part of my "incarceration", other than playing Super Mario RPG on my super Nintendo....
I had no cable. It was awful!

We are currently getting dusted with the white stuff...only the second time so far this season. I think it's a record for Denver, and for once it was not snowing on Halloween!

That was just an utter disgrace last night. I cannot believe I stayed up to watch the whole game.

Maybe someone needs to explain this to me????
If it involves football though, which I expect it does....then I don't want to know. Football is the second most boring/irritating thing I can think of. The first is listening to sportscasters. Sorry if anyone disagrees but....that's how I feel! I had to endure listening to sports casters talking about some game for about 2 hours while waiting in the doctor's office Saturday...I wanted to kill myself.

Lol Miakoda. I'm not much of a sport fan either. However, a game was on the tv while cutting Campbell's Soup labels. (I'm the school's Campbell's soup mom...) Anyway, my dad fell asleep on the chair watching football. Not sure if it was the same game, but someone was ahead by 13 points when he fell asleep. When he woke up, the other team was ahead. He and my husband were utterly amazed.

Hmm!! Yes it involves football, but please note I agree it is boring until the last few minutes of the game. Hence, why I was playing VMK up until the late hours of the night. I actually prefer to watch Hockey - a little more entertaining.

LOL... there are only two sports I will watch if forced: basketball and hockey. I was really into college ball in HS (Duke and NCSU....I went to NCSU later on). Hockey I only watch if I am at a game.

I was in the marching band in HS so I had to go to every football game. I spent the time talking and goofing around with my friends and when we made a touchdown the band played and I...as part of the colorguard...had to do a stupid little dance. We were like the reject nerd cheerleaders. I never paid attention to the actual game.

BTW, I don't know if anyone has heard of this...maybe it's a North Carolina thing...but once a year we had this thing at a football game called "Cow Bingo" or something like that. The field was marked into a grid by a land surveyor and you bought a "square". A cow was let onto the field and...well...if it pooped in your square, you won! Wow, we were rednecks.
