We have never stayed off of Disney property, but considering the lack of discounts being offered we may have to. Can anyone suggest a timeshare property. If you could let me know the pros and cons of the property ,I would appreciate it. Clean, convenient and luxurious are not bad on the pro side lol

Where are you accustomed to staying? If it's a hotel room you'll never want to go back to a room when you can have lots of rooms, a kitchen and a W&D.

I'm a fan of the Marriott time-shares.

wyndham's bonnet creek - it has what you want and it is between carribean and world drive. it is offsite - so no onsite priviledges.

there are several places to rent - hopefully someone who has rented this place will be posting shortly with names

Cypress Harbour is our favorite so far, but I'd be happy to stay at Horizons (it's not called that any more, but it's right across the street from CH) or Grand Vista on any trip.

We have stayed a a bunch of the Marriott's and have been happy with all of them.

the marriott palms (royal palms, sabal palms, imperial palm) are the closest.

the marriott harbour lake is generally considered the best for youngsters (pirate ship pool).

the marriott grande vista and cypress harbour are also popular.

for an adult trip, the lakeshore reserve is new and very nice but the farthest from wdw.

OTOH, if you have access through RCI, the hiltons or bonnet creek would be a good choice.

There are lots of nice timeshare resorts to choose from in the Disney area.

Our favorites are Marriotts, too. We like Marriott's Cypress Harbour and Grande Vista and enjoyed our stay at Sabal Palms. The new Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve looks terrific.

The Sheratons - Vistana Villages and Vistana Resort - are very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club SeaWorld International (I bet that the HGVC at International Drive and HGVC Parc Soleil are both very nice, too).

The Cypress Pointe Resort (in Lake Buena Vista) is a good resort.

Though quite large, we liked Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee, too.

I second Pat's suggestion of Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Beautiful resort, very, very convenient (closer to the parks than any of the Disney Value resorts), free bus service to the parks, LOTS of amenities, etc, etc. See any of the several Love Bonnet Creek threads, photo threads, etc.

There are many other very nice timeshares in the WDW area, but I don't know of any as close and convenient to WDW.

We have stayed at Hilton Grand Vac Club @ SW & on Intnl Dr. Both are beautiful, spacious condos. We had 2br, king bed & jacuzzi in MBR were soooo nice!
