Odds of getting a 2 BR on a waitlist for BW or BC?

Has anyone been able to get a 2 BR after being on a waitlist for these resorts? We are hoping to get BWV or BC for 11/8-11/14. I thought that after the SSW was changed to the following weekend I would have good luck but nothing so far.

I have waitlisted 'up' from a 1BR to a 2BR at VWL - which has fewer 2BRs than either BWV or BCV. It was in January on MLK week.

Trying to get any Epcot area room during Food & Wine is a huge challenge. As long as you have backup ressies, hang in there and hope for the best.

We are also wait listed for a 2 bdrm for those exact dates. We currently have two standard view studios at BWV but would like a 2 bdrm. We basically want it for the washer and dryer. There will be four adults and our ten month old granddaughter. As much as we'd like to get it, it's no big deal if we don't!

Would we be better starting at SSR and trying to move to BWV on Monday after the Food & Wine Festival?

I think you should start somewhere with a reservation so you can be at WDW if your waitlist doesn't come thru. Then if you're waitlist comes thru you will have a happy surprise instead of being disappointed that you have no place at all to stay.
