Saturday at Lake Louisa State Park. Shopping done and time for dinner at 4 Rivers Smokehouse. Next stop Fort Wilderness
Twisted pretzel with Texas sausage and pulled pork with Cole slaw jalepenos and dill chips with hot mustard. Teresa had pulled pork and we shared the sides of baked beans with burnt ends, bread pudding and okra.
I can’t believe our check out day is here- how can 2.5 weeks go so fast!? We are heading home to Minnesota today- should get home late Tuesday night if all goes well. Some random pictures of the Fort
1st day at the Fort was interesting...I requested loop 1600 or 1800 and got 1900, site 1908 specifically. I couldn't wiggle the rig in so, called for a different site.
Got 1906 ... it was tight but I made it in.
49th anniversary is on the 26th but couldn't get reses at HDDR so booked tonight the 23rd.

Day 2 is in the books with a visit to Epcot. This reservation system leaves a lot to be desired. I realize it's for crowd control but, today is the most crowded day we have ever seen ... couldn't hardly "stir em with a stick"
Today is the day that my grandson Archer arrives at WDW for the first time. As of this morning as Halloween time at the Fort is concerned, this place is deserted. Can only imagine what the next couple of days will be like. We were told that the fields by the hitch and unhitch areas is still soaking soft. Not sure it can handle the usual parking lot it becomes at Halloween.
Teresa and I made rope drop at Epcot yesterday and managed Gaurdians with a virtual queue. Have to say that it is as good as advertised. Also did Soarin, Ratatouille and Frozen. Test Track was down for a while and well......I just don't do Mission Space any more. (Unless my kids shame me into it) We had lunch at Sunshine Seasons. We finished up the day with dinner at Flipper's Pizza.
We did do a transportation hop with the Skyliner, monorail, the Joe Fowler from the TTC to MK and then a boat back to the Fort. They have changed the front of the larger boats to have standing room around the bow. Didn't get a pic yet. Will post one later.
We did manage about 95% decorations on our arrival day.
We did have 1 hiccup. When hooking up our water, we discovered a leak. A big shout out to Joe ( @Flametamr ) for helping me track it down and a quick fix.
Lots of utility work being done the last few days. Looks like conduit, lots and lots of little flags of all colors down the main drag to the Settlement area. Some pix:
