October Park Hours?

Well thats that. Thanks for all the help here. I am sure there are a lot of people furiously planning their trips. One question though. I want to hit the MK on a late night and it looks like friday the 15th is the best bet for us. What kind of crowds might we be encountering on a friday? Cheers, and good luck to all.

My dd and I are doing the tea the week after, too bad we couldn't meet up.. We will be there on the 23rd.

i wanted to try epcot f & w but since i am going solo i am not. i was told by a knowledgable person that goes to disney more than i do that its better to share some of the paid samplings at f & w.
going alone, i couldn't trade with anyone the food products. with another person. they could split the cost and food and be aable to try more items.

Everyone has their own touring style, so I won't dismiss what you were told as being incorrect, but I have done and am again doing the F&W festival solo and I Think it's wonderful. The portions are not very big that you really need to share, but I could see where it would be a benefit if you just wanted one or two bites. Even when I am at the F&W festival with someone we don't tend to share portions. So don't let that scare you away. I think it is a great event for solo travelers. I especially like the free seminars. I'm even doing the brewers's dinner (additional charge) by myself. So I say go for it!

i have decided to do f & w solo. will take your suggestions. i was told there is so much to buy that i would fill up if i was there doing it solo and wanting to sample the food.

i am going for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so what if i gain pounds from the beginning of that line to the end........i'll be on vacation....

any certain foods i should not miss or over look.??
i'll take any suggestions or recommendations.

Ok - this is just NOT funny! I just went to the wdw website to check the hours and they have this:

"Sorry, a system error has occurred. Please try back later. "

How many of us were trying to get onto the calendar site at once!!

Just tried again and got this:

"This site is temporarily too busy to process your request. Please try again later."

Later??? What do you mean, later??? I've been at this for the past 3 days!!

I thought the same thing about the system error...all us DIS'ers probably jammed the system!!! Don't they realize how long we've been waiting?? This is such a tease! I can't concentrate on anything else. My house is falling apart around me...I am afraid of what it will look like by Oct.

Better go do the breakfast dishes...it's the least I can do!

luvariel...my kids just had to remind me it's lunchtime...maybe they'll forgive me when they find out they are going to WDW!!! We are trying to surprise them...they are so used to me being on these boards and having my face in a Disney book that they don't think anything of it!! Hey Folks: DisneyWorld.Com finally has all the park operating hours up for October!

One note of interest: The calendar has the hours for Blizzard Beach from Oct. 24 to Oct. 31 as 2 am until 4 am. Wonder if it will be warm enough to swim during those hours?!

Just checked a couple of our date and there is no Wishes listed-just parades? I think they have a few glitches still.

WDW told me that Wishes will be 9:00pm on Oct 10th-guess I'll take my chances and book CG for 8:30 and hope they are right.

share a dream parade at 3 on sat oct 2 also.

i just went to the wdw site and hours are posted for mk for oct.
i clicked on some of the dates and the event info is listed.

i called wdw and the cm said wishes will be on certain nights. i posted most of them earlier on this thread. think back two pages..maybe that much back.

i know wishes will be on sat 8:00, the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th,8th.....................
it is not listed on the calender for all the dates, but i called again and the cm gave those dates to me....if anything is changed it doesn't always get on the calender pronto.

if you have doubts, please call disney for the update.

I was hoping Wishes would be at 8:00pm on the 10th (8:30-9:00pm is a little late for us to be eating supper lol).
