We are going home for the first time in October 18-25.(SSR) For the past two years we have stayed at Coronado Springs in September and the crowds have been great walked on most rides with no waiting times.:) My question is will my dates in October have about the same attendance as September? The Disney web site says that my week in October is a good time to go. We can not wait for October!:yay:

October may be a little more crowded than Sept. They have the Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT and MNSSHP in MK. It is a great time to go, though.

You have picked my favorite time to go, well tied as favorite with Christmas. Halloween is such fun to see everyone in their costumes. Make sure you get to Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party one night. The parade is very cool. Also the cast members carve pumpkins and they are displayed at Down Town Disney. They are so much fun to see.

re epcot - I thought Columbus day weekend very busy, just too crowded both the weekend of and the weekend after..during the week was manageable:)

ps may want to check out the unoffical guide crowd calendar

We've gone the week of Columbus Day and the last week of Oct. The Columbus Day week was hotter and a little more crowded, but still not bad. We love the last week of Oct! I'm not too keen on the FL humidity.

We liked the Halloween party better than the Christmas Party. We had fun in October last year, even though it was still a bit on the warm side.

We went Halloween week last year, and there were chilly rain showers some days. I think MK's Halloween/Harvest decorations are wonderful. You should have a great time!

That's a time of year I'm looking towards, maybe 2009. Look forward to reading about your experience.
