October character breakfasts

We will be there in october and I had a question about park hours and breakfast hours. I looked at the October 2005 schedule and it showed that MK opened at 9am every day. Does this apply to CRT and CP? We wanted to do a character breakfast and I was wondering whether there was a way to do a 8am or 830am character breakfast and be done before the rest of the park opened. If not, we may just decide to do all the character stuff at lunch/dinner so that we can optimize our early park time for rides.

Any thoughts?

In October 2004 we had an 8:05 PS at Cinderella's Royal Table on a day that the MK opened at 9:00am (it was a Saturday). There was a line way over to the right at the entrance to the park for people with PSs. We were done with breakfast around 8:45am and were right at the entrance to Fantasyland for the rope drop. It worked out great. We actually went into Tinkerbell's Treasures first and got to wake up Tinkerbell!
