Friday night here, and I'm thankful for a 3-day weekend ....although the pool closes Monday.....

I'm going tomorrow to shop for cruise clothes. I hear that Dillard's has swimsuits 75% off and Peebles has a good sale also....

BTW, if we didn't have our 2 wonderful children, we would still cruise Disney!!!

Hi! I'm new to this thread. I have not posted anything since 04'. We went to WDW for 8 days at that time. We are also going on this cruise and so excited!! It's nice to see that others are excited like us. Myself, my DH and 2 DD's, ages 6 and 7 are going.

I was curious about the people who went during Ernesto. I know they were rerouted but I was wondering if the waters were rough still. Does anybody know?

They told me over the phone that my stateroom has not been assigned. Is that because we are Cat 12 guranteed? Also how can I get Palo brunch ressies, I am can't get it done online. Where on the ship do you go?

Sabeking!! The waters usually calm down fairly quickly after a storm. The people on the Magic during Ernesto are getting off today, so I imagine someone will do a trip report in the Trip Report thread. You might be able to find out there.

We have a "list" going for this cruise. This is totally optional. None of us will think any less of anyone who chooses not to participate in the list. Every time someone joins in or there are any corrections made to the list, I will e-mail everyone on the list a new list. The list contains some or all of the following information:

-DIS-name
-E-mail address
-First names, ages if desired, and Occupation of adults
-Pirate Name (if you like...see link in signature)
-First names and ages of children (so the children will know if there are others their age)
-Dining session
-Stateroom #
-Hometown
-Where you are staying night B4 cruise
-Special occasion to be celebrated during cruise (if any)

If there is any info you don't know yet, you can leave it off, and add it later.
If you would like to be included on the list, pm me or e-mail using the link in my signature and I will add you to the list! I send the list attached as a Word document and I scan it for viruses every time. If you want to participate and require a different format, let me know and I will try to accommodate you.

Yes. You can keep an eye on your reservation on DCL's website, and a room assignment will likely show up shortly before the cruise. If not it will be a suprize when you check in, and you might even get an upgrade.

Also how can I get Palo brunch ressies, I am can't get it done online. Where on the ship do you go?

You can get ressies when you get on the ship, not sure where though... The location will be in the Welcome Aboard navigator. Someone help me here...

What about excursions? Anyway else planning to do the Sting Ray City? We are looking at different outside vendors that can fit our time window (we have Flounders from 9 am to 1pm)

Looks like Captain Bryan's might work.

When we went to Georgetown this March we only lounged at the beach but I REALLY want to see the sting rays this time.


What are you guys doing in Cozomel? I'm think we are taking a taxi to the beach.

Key West we are doing the acquarium and getting another of those yummy Key Lime Pies on a Stick! (Covered in chocolate of course!)

We also will be on the Oct 7th cruise. We are really looking foward to it. We did the Magic back in 2004 and had agreat time. OUr group is myself dh ds(12) and ds(10).

We were going to do the StingRay City Excursion but decided instead to do the stingrays on CC due to the time it took to ride a boat out to the sandbar area. We have friends that have done it, though and said it was great!

We are deciding what we want to do on the islands, but it will be self-guided, probably.

WOOHOO! I am so excited.....did the official vow renewal "proposal" to hubby this weekend at Disneyland so now the countdown officially starts! Although, funny, I asked him what he thought I would have done if he said, "No" LOL

Has anyone had any luck booking High Tea at Palo....I started booking at 90 days since I am Castaway Club, and there was no luck then, and no luck now, and no luck in between. Did anyone get those online or is it just something to do onboard? Also, does anyone have an idea of when the Tea with Wendy occurs?

I just bought a pirate-y black skirt at Target today on the clearance rack for $5. I might even wear it for dinner a previous night and then cut it into shreds for pirate night....

Target has sandals/flipflops for $3.42..... Bought 4 pairs..
