Does nayone know how to put a picture in a message..... Yes Yes I know....she's blond.... ;)
Your format is correct, but you must post your picture on a picture hosting site such as the DIS Photo Gallery, Picture Trail, Shutterfly or Photobucket. It also must meet the board image size limits. Here is a thread that tells how to post a picture and you can try it there as well. It's easy once you figure it out. Good luck!

Very cute mascot! What kind of dog is she? We have a cockapoo that looks like he could be a cousin. Congratulations on figuring out the picture posting. I haven't even attempted that yet.

We have friends in Deventer. Is that anywhere close to you?

Okay, I know that there are a lot of other teachers that are going on this cruise. I have to ask the question. Now that school has been in session for a couple of weeks (for most of us at least) how much are you looking forward to fall break???? :cool1: That cruise is looking better every day!

Bring on the Magic!!!! :Pinkbounc

Hey Ginger----YUP! For sure counting the days....we had a short summer of only 4 weeks (we were changing schedules) and so we have been back since 7/27 :( LOVE that Fall break!

Hey all! How is everyone doing with their trip planning? I bought my formal today (yeah ebay!!) and am starting to make a list of all the little things I need to buy. Anyone else?

What a dork--I've been checking this thread since I posted last week, but wasn't paying attention to the fact that there were two new pages. I thought I shut the thread down or something!

We're as ready as we can be considering we still have two more months (at least) of warm weather. We really can't prepack the majority of our clothes, but we travel a lot so we always have our cosmetics/toiletries bags ready which is a start, I guess.

Our plans are all set....

In Key West we're going to get off and walk around for an hour or so and then enjoy the ship when a lot of the people are off. My husband and I are going to try and get Palo for dinner that night.

In Grand Cayman we're renting an SUV, going to the beach, the turtle farm, and out to eat at an authentic West Indian restaurant. In Cozumel we're taking a taxi to Paradise Beach and hanging there for a few hours and then heading back to take advantage of an empty ship. Our older son loves to be able to go down the slide without any wait.

Other than relaxing, I like to walk/run on Deck 4 at least half the mornings, watch a movie, and attend some type of class, usually cooking. This is the first year that our 3 year old will be old enough for the Oceaneer Club, but we don't plan to use it much--we'll let him decide. Our older son is old enough to be in the Lab exclusively, so he's excited about that.

We'll try to do either Palo for brunch or High Tea, and we'll probably try and do tea with Wendy.

6 weeks!!!  :woohoo: :Pinkbounc
Gone to Gatlinburg for the weekend! Can you say cruise clothes??? :teeth:

Delta just changed our flight putting us into Orlando 2 hours later than originally booked. We're coming in the night before so at least we won't miss the boat. We're disappointed to get in at 8:30 though. If you are flying Delta you might want to check your flights. Will we still be able to ship the ship that late at night as we come across the bridge? I was really looking forward to that first look.

:dance3: 6 More Weeks! :dance3:

:teacher: This teacher will be glad for the break, although my students are great!

Tammy, unless there's something going on that I don't know about, the ship will not be at the port until Saturday a.m. She cruises in, dumps a load of people, loads a load of people, and she's off........ :sail:

 I sure am glad it's the weekend so I can work at the county fair (both days), rearrange my classroom, blow leaves at my mother's house(which I don't mind doing, btw), move some furniture, grocery shop, wash clothes, get lessons ready for Monday, and try to shop for cruise clothes bargains.

DCL, take me away!:boat:

Jamie! Your post rings true! I'm so excited for the weekend, but overwhelmed by the work that I brought home to do. Then, there is the wedding tomorrow, the grocery store, the laundry, church Sunday morning, singing at a concert Sunday night, and school work sometime in the middle.

I told my son today that I am so afraid that I'm going to slip into a depression after this cruise is over because I just keep telling myself, "At least the cruise is coming!" :rotfl2:

Bring on the Magic!!

Ginger  :cheer2: :cool1:

I just watched the Magic leave port on the Ron Jon Web cam! Looks like it might tangle with Ernesto on Monday or Tuesday

:bday: SOMEONE HAS A BIRTHDAY TOMORROW :bday:

HI,

For Dutch standards Deventer is a long way from here ( about 175 KM)...

My dog is a Wire haired dachshund called Duckie. She'll be 1 year old on October 3. She's a real handfull but I'm crazy about her. She loves to be on our sail-boat and just lie on the foreward deck and bark at sea-gulls. I think she'd have a great time on the cruise ship... All those people to play with! :woohoo:
But she'll be with my husbands parents, and they love her to bits so she'll be just fine....

We're really looking forward to the cruise! The Dutch weather has been horrible for the last 3 weeks! It's the wettest summer in 100 years! :sad2: :sad2:

Bye,

Kyra and Jaap princess: pirate:

Thanks for my birthday wishes and song! :wave2: Getting ready to go play putt-putt in 97 degree heat. What was I thinking?

Here's a question I haven't seen asked -- I made my dress (so I could have exactly what I wanted), and it's not exactly floor length. It hits me about the ankles. Is that appropriate?? It's black organza with an ivory beaded tunic over the top (or will be, once I've sewn allthe beads on).

My husband owns a tux, which he will wear, and our son has a tux courtesy of ebay -- love ebay!

Also -- just checking -- we're wearing costumes for pirate night, please tell me others are as well! Don't chicken out on me!

We'll be in Disney World the week before the cruise (get in on September 30th) and staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter. Anyone want to get together with us before the cruise? Let me know!

"Red" Christina

We are definitely dressing up for Pirate Night! pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:

We tend to pack lean according to the packing lists....so you will be the one we admire at formal dinner.

Back from our week at SSR. The 2BR was smaller than the one we had a WLV but still very nice. We were in the Springs middle Bldg, so convenient to the pool. Very muggy in the a.m. We took my DW's Sister & Husband. Had every intention to eat in the room, but I don't think we had one dinner there. Went to La Nouba, it was really great. Had dinner at Friday's near the airport as we got in 3 hours late due to plane delay. Had a pulled pork sandwich with Jack Daniels sauce, very very yummy. Ate at the Earl of Sandwich twice, had free meal tickets. Ate at the California grill at the Contemporary, very $$$ but excellent food, had the Ribeye and everyone else had the filet. The flat bread pizza was soooo outstanding. Went to the House of Blues for the Gospel Revenue, the food was great but the loudness of the music drove us out got as far back as we could and covered our ears but still too loud left after 10 minutes, good thing they fed us first. Had flat bread pizza at the Artiste Point twice.

Now back to reality, the electricians are here the painters are partly done, but they decided to repave the street and they had to stop because of the dust and then the rain. Stove & Microwave are coming today. :Pinkbounc

30 days!!!!
