We fly Southwest - nonstop from RDU to Orlando.

I don't mind flying and I DO dislike sitting in the car for hours. We will arrive the day before and stay at one of the hotels near the port.

See you on board. I'll put a Tarheel sticker on my DIS lanyard thingy.

AWESOME! You are DOUBLE Platinum! I'm only on #13 for this one and my mom #3. I think I'll have to take more shorter cruises to catch up!

BTW - Right now Capt. Henry is aboard so may still be for our sailing. I don't think I've seen him since I took my mom on her first cruise 8 yrs. ago.

May I suggest that we move this to the Promenade Lounge around the corner. They will still be boarding at 3pm and we may be in the way of the crew trying to get all of the passengers onboard. It will also be hard to talk with the family name announcements.

Promenade Lounge sounds great to me Can't wait to meet at 3pm!

Taswira - So glad to hear about your wonderful trip 'down under'. I live in Western Sydney not far from the Blue Mountains. Did you ever visit there?

Leiacake - What part of the country o your DH relatives come from?

Well we've just heard the announcement here that Oprah is coming over and bringing 450 people with her - her audience I believe? That will do great things for tourism here.

Well it's only 1 week from today until we fly over, and we are getting so excited!!! This time next week I will be on my way to Sydney airport
