leiacake, you might want to call DCL customer service about your room just in case you have need of a special service. Those papers have to be in by 30 days before the cruise. They will be happy to tell you the #. When I called the other day about something else they even asked to make sure I had received my cabin assignment. Can't wait to meet everyone.-Pat

Hi Pat! Thanks for the tip! Alex doesn't really need any special services that I can think of. But a call to find out the cabin # might be in order.

Hi All, I'll be on this cruise as well! We're celebrating our son's 10th birthday on 10/10/10! We head to DW right after our cruise, where we'll stay Oct7-14!

Hi Emianne! We will be going to DW after the cruise also! We will be staying at ASM....it will be our first time on Disney property! My son missed by one year having a cool birthdate like your son....my Alex is 08/08/87. This trip is a late birthday gift for Alex, I couldn't get everything scheduled for August.So....better late than never!Alex is happywith the plans! Your son must be hyped!Happy EARLY birthday to him!!!

Less than 2 weeks now before we start our trip.

Our 2 DD are really starting to gte excited. Even started packing this weekend. We don't really need our summer clothes at the moment so we have packed them all (As we are in the middle of winter here in Australia).

got our document envelope when we returned home yesterday. Flipped thru the little book and put it aside. THEN I read "luggage tags" on the boards - and look again and there they are !
This is pretty exciting for a first time cruiser. Thanks for sharing the excitment.

We've received our docs here in Australia too at the beginning of the week but haven't had a chance to jump on.

DizOz we've been doing exactly the same thing! I've been pretty much fully packed for a while now. I hope the kids summer clothes still fit haha! If not, looks like I'll be hitting the outlets when we arrive in Orlando
I've been finding it very hard to buy anything until just now... couldn't find thongs (you guys in the states call them flip flops I think) anywhere!

OK now for the big question...... what's everyone's tips for FE gifts? I am a little stuck and normally I would go for something 'Aussie' but being that there are a few of us onboard this may not be appropriate

. . . Daddy / Son combos with nothing in particular planned, my three year old and I were thinking of walking over to the Pirate Museum while in port. My wife and daughter are doing some dolphin thing, so we have most of the day to do stuff with a male-bonding theme. Drop me a note if any other Dad might want to go along as well. Or, stop by or leave a note at our cabin.

We just booked our first Disney cruise a few weeks ago. Since then, we have discovered the DIS. Is it too late to participate in the FE??? My kids would really love this!!!
