Okay. Now I' really losing it. Got through and on hold for about 10 minutes and then suddenly, I get the please stay on the line to take a survey or hang up. Thank you message!

On hold with DVC member services, hopefully I get through, although some posters are saying the phone CMs are saying the system is down, but others are making reservations
 
I got everything I wanted but Crystal Palace which was booked solid.... which I thought was very weird!! For Feb 11-15th I got

Le Cellier
CRT - dinner
Boma
Chef Mickey - breakfast

I'm still going to try for Crystal Palace. I just find it hard to believe that there was nothing for CP on any of those days.

CP is having a referb. during that time.
 

Tried at 9:15 am EST and the online system was down, so I thought I would call MS... busy line twice, then got through, but 15 minute wait to speak to a CM. She stated that the system was unavailable and there was no time given for when it might be available. :confused3 Didn't Disney realize that all the "planners" would want to exercise the 180 day booking window TODAY! :eek: I am going to keep trying every 30 minutes, okay that would be a little over the top, so every hour! :laughing:

Krista, the CP is closed through the 13th. So it could very well be filled on the 14th and 15th when you consider the holiday weekend and the re-opening. Keep trying though! :goodvibes
 
OK I have been trying for 2 hours now just to get through...got hubby on it also on his office line...Patience is a virtue!!!
 
Finally, after hitting redial over a hundred times, I got through to the tape and got a 13 minute wait message. Now I am hearing disney music and YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE, NOW BOARDING THE WALT DISNEY RAILROAD . . .

This is a very long 13 minutes and the sound keeps cutting out like no one is there -- is that happening to anyone else?
 
I was able to get through on the phone right at 7:00 this morning. I was able to book:

3/27 Whispering Canyon
3/28 Hoop de Doo
3/29 Chefs de France (L)
3/29 Boma (D)
3/30 Narcoosees
3/31 Crystal Palace (L)
3/31 Chef Mickeys (D)
4/1 Artist Point

I was not able to get CRT for breakfast or lunch for any of my days. The CM said that it had not been loaded into the system yet. Of course, that's the one ressie that was a must.

My CM was quite chatty and very frank about the problems they are having this morning. She said that they began having issues with the system when they began their initial pre-opening tests this morning at 6:00. She said that CMs were offered doubly pay for today if they logged into their systems by 6:45. According to the CM, dining reservations agents have an internal message board where they can communicate and recieve alerts. She said their message board was "on fire this morning." She also claimed that CRT and several other restaurants were not loaded because tech staff were busy addressing the other system issues.

The CM also said that they have been testing the new 180-day system internally since late July and they have had numerous problems with it.

OMG I would be SO MAD!! I am sorry. I hope it works out for you - my frustration would be unmatched... maybe by a screaming, destructive toddler in public... but not be much more.

fingers crossed for all who have been up and at it since 4:30AM CST like me... I did finally get thru on the phone - hope others do too and DONT get disconnected!
 
Actually had 2 ADR online, when I went to cart got message online system down again! Errrrrrrr!
 
Just spoke to Guest relations on the Travel agent side (We have a Travel Company specializing in Disney only) and they said they are having technical issues with CRT from Feb 4th and beyond ..They foresee it being a problem all day..
 
SCORE!!!!:cool1: Finally got through on the main reservation line, got everything I wanted and even made a couple of extra just because I could!:dance3:

I got a 7 min time (just passed it now...and have dead air....grrrr)

Its cutting in and out too
 
Spoke with a nice CM 5 min ago at member services. She told me the entire system is down, call them back in an hour...
How are some people still booking now?
Should I keep trying? I don't want to give up if there is hope...:confused3
 
Well DVC, Cm, Jean Pierre, just told me that the dining system is down, has been since yesterday, said it was a system wide issue, not just DVC. This makes no sense, others are making reservations.
 
Unless my Confirmation numbers do not work as was suggested... I got all of my reservations for March 20-27 except for CRT which my CM tried to get twice but said she heard it is not loaded into the system yet..

But I am curious as to how others have booked it... trips in different months than March?

My CM was in Orlando in a call center. She said there is one in Tampa as well. Perhaps one of them is slower than the other location??

Keep trying and good luck everyone. I am online trying to get CRT now and will call throughout the day as we have an 8AM BBB that we want to follow with Cindy's Breakfast princess:

mine is in Orlando. she read a message she got saying it's global.
 
I had BOMA and California Grill up and checking availability on the website then bam. The online system went d-o-w-n.

I am getting pretty frustrated. I've been trying since 6:45 this morning solid. Calling, online, anything I can think of.

I really don't care what I get at this point, except C Grill. It's our anniversary and that's all I want!
