**October 27 2009, 180 Day Reservation Thread**

Who are these people who do this from home? Seriously. Booking agents working from home? On the line now -- she's going to try to transfer me to another "line" because she was told the system is down and to call back in 15 minutes.

I do not work for Disney but I do customer service work.. from home.. you know how you can tell? It's QUIET! Lol!

I had one person ask me if I did because he didn't hear "call center" type noises.. I told him I had an awesome headset because I could lose my job if I advertise I work from home.. I do love the commute!

Yeah, I got in too. 20 minutes on hold and they tell me to call back in 15 minutes 'cause the system is down.

to add the dining plan to my reservation? Can I call dining or the reservation number? Not that it matters much because I can't get through on any of them! Also, if I make my ADRs before I add on the dining plan, is that going to cause any problems?

I should add too that my CM only did 1-2 ressies at a time because she didn't want the system to crash and lose the ressies before getting conf#s

I just hung up with member service to see if CRT was available yet.

He said I may want to double check my confirmation numbers later to make sure they work, that they just received an email that the system keeps shutting down and reservations may have been cancelled.

I believe it - When I was making our reservations the CM had to do a couple of them over again. She said that some of the info was: "not sticking" (her words). That does make me nervous....

Who would have guessed that making dining reservations could be so stressfull!!!!

Well... since 6 am this morning, the on-line system has been crashed; and since 7 am, the phone has either been busy, all circuits are busy, or such high call volume that you're told to call back later.



Not surprised, but frustrated.
Perhaps they should have rolled the 180 day ADRs a restaurant at a time.

2.5 hours later.....Got all but 3 of my times!! And those 3 were CRT, Teppan Edo, and Wolfgang Puck ecause they were not loaded in the system for March yet. CM said they should be loaded soemtime today! Good luck to all!!!

Got thru at 9 on the dot after no luck with WDW Dine. Was able to make 7 dinner reservations 2/14-2/20. Good luck to all.

Yep I was told the same thng by a DVC rep.

I finally made it thru!!! I was only on hold for 18 minutes and had a wonderful CM. I managed to get all my ressies.

So I'm in the TA booking engine, but I can't add anything to the cart!! What the?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Still no luck on the phone. Once I get in, I am sure they are going to LOVE me, and I'll be booking for 3 parties, one is a group of 10, the others are two families of 4. If they'd open online, I could do the two fams of 4. If only I could do my party of 10 online. Heck, if only I could do ANY of them online!!

Sure am glad I'm at home today with a sick kiddo. This might be a looooooong morning.

edited to ask: Does anyone else feel like they are trying to call into a radio station and win a million bucks??? LOL

I got everything I wanted but Crystal Palace which was booked solid.... which I thought was very weird!! For Feb 11-15th I got

Boma
Chef Mickey - breakfast

I'm still going to try for Crystal Palace. I just find it hard to believe that there was nothing for CP on any of those days.

MCgypsy -- really? It let you make a reservation? Mine will just let me see the restaurants and then it tells me there is a new online booking application coming but that I need to come back.
