I'm on vacation on the west coast and was so bummed I would be behind everyone...but it appears not so much How are both lines busy AND the online system is down?!?!?!

Back through on the phone after being disconnected. 1 min in to a 12 min wait time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I finally got my ressies!

I woke us this morning an hour plus earlier than usual and tried online starting at 5:55am (EST) no luck, then the system crashed. Had to wait until the kiddies went to school because trip is a surprise (we will annouce it on Christmas Day). Tried calling CONSTANTLY for 20+ minutes and kept getting a busy signal or "Were sorry all circuits are busy". Finally got through and spent the next 28 minutes on hold!

I spoke to Jessica who was very sweet and helpful! Here is what I got:

Feb 6th- Chef Mickey's 6:30pm
Feb 7th- Tusker House (Donalds breakfast Safari) 8:00am AND
Feb 7th- T-Rex 5:00pm
Feb 8th- Hollywood & Vine 5:00pm
Feb 9th- LeCellier 5:00pm
Feb 10th- Cape May Cafe 6:00pm
Feb11th- Chef Mickey's 7:30am AND
Feb 11th- O'Hana's 6:25pm
Feb 12th- Liberty Treee Tavern 6:00pm

Sorry I'm just excited!

I just got off the phone. I was on with the nicest, best CM ever, Virginia, who tried for an hour and half to get me some reservations. Unfortunately, while she was able to put a couple in the cart while the system was slowly moving along, it crashed about 25 minutes into the call and everything was lost. We waited for over an hour for it to get back up and running but were unsucessful. She was in a call center and said only one person here or there was able to get anything in that whole time.
I'm just going to wait until another time. I've now spent over 4 hours on this. I have faith that we wo't starve on our vacation in 6 months and some openings will be there whenever the system is back up and running.
Also, she said the message she was getting was that these problems are expected to last through today and possibly into tomorrow. She said if I call back, the first thing I should ask the CM is if their system is running.

Just got off the phone with DVC MS. The CM told me that all dining systems were down and that there is no ETA for being back online.

I've gotten "all circuits busy" every time I call...I cannot even get a CM to tell me the system is down, haha!

I got everything I wanted but Crystal Palace which was booked solid.... which I thought was very weird!! For Feb 11-15th I got

CRT - dinner
Boma
Chef Mickey - breakfast

I'm still going to try for Crystal Palace. I just find it hard to believe that there was nothing for CP on any of those days.

Note that CP is closed for refurbishment from January 3, 2010 to February 13, 2010.

I called the V&A number and got right through...finally after calling for 2 hours....no wait at all. I got V&A and they were able to do all of my other ressies too....

I was able to use the online system(about 30 min. ago), a little slow, especially at checkout, but got everything I needed!

Tried making my ressies online at 6am just like most of us of course with no luck! Started calling at 7am finally got thru at 7:25am on hold for 30 mins. Got all my ADR's and times I wanted.

2/12 Rose & Crown 7pm
2/13 Sci-Fi 2:05pm
2/14 1900 Park Fare 7pm
2/15 Boma's 10:25am
2/17 Donald's Safari Breakfast 10:20am

I may add more once on-line is working but these are the ones we really wanted.
Like others I think Disney should have staggered the 180 day switch.

So frustrating -- clang, clang, clang went the trolley --- to be in music hold and know that you are going to be told that the system is down BUT still hanging on to some shred of hope that a real live person will pick up and be able to book my adrs. I just can't hang up until I talk to a live human.

Just got off the phone with DVC MS. The CM told me that all dining systems were down and that there is no ETA for being back online.

It has been going up and down since 7am. And some CMs are saying it is down while others are having success booking. Keep trying.

I'm happy you got through, but why take more than you need when you know there are thousands of people that don't have anything yet??

Exactly! Or the people who are on hold on numerous phones. Please remember that there are tons of people trying to get through, holding up their days for this.

Keep refreshing online, that worked for me about half an hour ago when it was down and went back up.
