My DDs wedding was in St Louis Mossouri

That is where she went to college.

Just got an email from her , they are in MEXICO on their Honey Moon she says it is REALLY COOL!

I will hopefully have soem pictures down loaded to night and will post a couple of her wedding!

I am sure it is much warmer in Fort Lauderdale however, I checked Orlando today and only 16 celcuis....sorry don't know what that is in F. Although much warmer then here I am hoping for a little warmer temps when I go in Jan.

16 degress celcius is about 60 degrees F

But i just looked up the weather and it said feels like 69 degrees, i cant imagine it will be any warmer than that in january!

But i will keep my finger crossed for you!

Hi everyone,
My family just finished our first cruise in August. We loved it so much that we rebooked on board. Originally a dummy date waiting for 2009.
Well I started fooling around with numbers and dates in anticipation of 2009 announcements. ( The OCD in me) I contacted my TA and officially transferred the booking to this cruise today. The 2009 itineraries didn't excite us as much as this itinerary.

so it will be Halloween on the High Seas for us

HOCKEY CHIC- we had GTY 12 booked for our last 2 cruises and were lucky enought both times to get upgraded first to a 10 and last time to a nine , but we never got our room number to about 4 weeks before we sailed , so good luck on the upgrade
this time we have booked a Cat 9 when we rebooked onboard as it was only $300 more then a GTY12 said we couldn't get the discount with the GTY12

Dizzi your DD looks wonderful , the dress is just out of this world , glad to hear everything went well

Dana welcome on board , I was hoping for an Alaska for 2009 might even have changed this one ,

Hope everyone enjoys the snow , we have not had any for about 2 years and when it does come we might only get about an inch and it never lies

it is a raining and windly here at the moment

Started in the New health Club on Monday , haven't got as far as the gym yet but been doing lots of swimming , all sore today I'm so unfit , will have to work myself in slowly

Hi everyone! Hi new people signing on for this great cruise!!

Crazy busy here. Still working like a crazy woman, closing on our house December 20th, having household goods moved from the boonies here on the 21st if they can accommodate the date, otherwise after Christmas!

No stress, right?


I told DH I need a DCL cruise before October just to destress FOR the October cruise.

Anyway, hope to find more time for DIS soon!

JNS: Thanks, last time we booked a 12 and got 11...but then they had to put us in a 11 cause there was 4 of us I don't care about the cat, I like to be low and mid ship but will just be happy to be on the ship.

Dizzi,

Your girls are beautiful - and considering one of your babies was getting married you look awesome - I would have expected tear tracks and running mascara!

As for snow, we've gotten dumped on as well. There are some small towns "around the bay" - ie: out of town - that are still without power - 3 days later ! The kids are loving it, but it's early even for us to have snow. Hopefully this does not mean a bad winter - we had enough snow in the winter of 2001 to block being able to see a normal bungalow from the road. You know it's a bad snowstorm when the vehicles get buried! As one of the old jokes go, one of these days I'm going to put the snowblower in the back of the truck and not stop driving until someone asks "What's that?"

Was looking at the prices and itineraries for 2009 - made me even more happy we'd booked this one. The prices 2 years out are crazy! Glad to see they're adding some different ports, but don't know if it would make me keep booking Disney after this one. Don't get me wrong - absolutely love Disney and presently can't imagine taking the kids on another cruise line - but don't know if I'll be able to keep justifying the price the older the boys get. Of course, said that after the first one and already saying "but that may change when the new ships come out..." .

Valerie: We did our first ever cruise with DCL in 05 and strayed for a few years, although I loved my 2 carnival cruises we are excited to come back to DCL and mine will be 16 and 19 when we cruise DCL again....lol

Where is everyone??? Please come back and chat, we only have 11 months to get to know each other

I have not looked at the prices i guess i will head over there next and look...a bit scary if the prices are way high that means the points will most likley be WAY HIGh too!

Which is what we had planned on using for the next couple years for our cruising.....OUR DVC points!

Oh well i guess how ever it goes it goes! If we have to use points for me and Dh and pay for the kids, that would work out.


I am soooo not used to looking at myself with hair, I have for the past 5 years or so had minimal amount of hair and i have for the past several months been trying to let it grow out ...wow it is really hard but i hope to have double the picture by the time we go cruising!

I had to let you all know that in Florida we have been running above normal temps. Todays high is 80 and sunny.This time of year always makees me feel so lucky to live in central Florida.

Michelle you are lucky, my goal is to summer in Prince Edward Island and winter in Florida, your summers are way to hot for me

If you could keep those temps through mid January that would be great, we are coming in for Marathon weekend at disney and 80's would be awesome!!!!

I am soo much loving the weather right now . i am soo soo soo blessed to beliving here right now!

After being soo cold at my DD wedding I am so happy to be in the warmth. my mother got snow yesterday and i had to rub it in that we had just taen a drive on our motorcycle in shorts and t shirts down by the beach!

HA HA HA HA!

The Summers dont bother me so much as i like it HOT but they do occasionally both my DH but it isnt oo bad being so close to the beach! We really dont feel the humidity as much as we did up north!
