I miss big Thanksgiving celebrations.

I just had a small one with my parents and brother.

ANOTHER 10 months of PREPARING FOR A GREAT CRUISE!!!!!!

The only thing i plan on sewing for this cruise is our halloween costumes.....and i am having trouble coming up with what we want to be!

We live in about 1200 + miles away from our family it is just me and Dh and our 2 kids and i usually have to work on Turkey day so we have no celebration at all. kind of Lonsome soem times!

BUT at least we have each other!!!

Yeah, it's so odd having such small Thanksgiving celebrations, when I am used to HUGE ones back when I was living in AZ.

Hehe a DISThanksgiving meet sounds pretty awesome.

Ooh I can't wait to start shopping for clothes for the cruise! Plus We'll be spending a week beforehand in the theme parks (disney, universal studios), so that means I have double the shopping to do! Hehe I'll be hitting the post-holiday sales in January!

Hi there!!!!

I am considering changing to this cruise from the land and sea but unfortunatley there isn't any availability for early dining I guess I waited to long.

Last time we cruised DCL we had late dining and it was terrible for the kids cause most of the teens had early dining.

My question to all of you who have booked....are you travelling with teens?? My DD will be 16 at the time of cruising and do you have late dining????

We tried for this cruise last year and it just didn't work out so fingers are crossed this time.

I have 4 teens ( they will be 19 (DS), 17 (DD), 17(DD) and 14 (DS) at the time of cruising ) and we have late dining. I actually had early dining originally and then changed to late dining a few weeks ago as we didn't want to be eating so early.

We will also be cruising with teens...3 definately (ages 17,17 & 14 atoc) & possibly 1 other (aged 13 atoc). We too have late dining. 5.30pm would be much too early for us, & we want to make sure we can fit plenty of lunch in somewhere between breakfast & dinner!!!!!!!!!

Thank you both for the responses. We have just changd our ressie from the 4 night land and sea to this cruise. DD is very happy to hear there will be teens for her to hang with. She loved the Stack, I think she spend the entire cruise there.

Good Morning my fellow cruisers!!!!

I am so excited to be back to DCL after a few cruises with some other cruise lines.

Kawaii, DD will start posting tonight, she is so excited that she won't be stuck with me for the week and will have other teens to "hang" with.

I will have to go back and read through the posts but I was wondering since I am kinda cruising on my own since I will probably only see DD at dinner times, I was hoping to do Palo for brunch one day, did it on my other DCL cruise and loved it but I don't want to eat alone anyone else interested in a Palo brunch on one of the sea days???

Look forward to chatting wiht you all over the next year.

Trying to read all the posts and remember what you are allowed and not allowed to do with DCL, my very first cruise was DCL but I have done 2 with Carnival and 1 booked for March so refamiliarizing myself with there policies.

Can't wait!!!!

Anyone know what there are being for Halloween yet??

Also does anyone know when formal and pirats nights are?
