Good morning folks... I have locked myself in the conservatory to get away from my child before I kill him with a bowl of ready brek:mad:

Geez, the arguments we have each morning are enough to send me crazy. :crazy2: I feel like a parrot each morning just repeating "eat your brekkie, get your uniform on, who's a pretty boy then!"

Well, he enroled in Beavers last night and got through the ceremony without saying he wanted to go home.. I actually think he half enjoyed it:eek: , although he wouldnt admit that of course:rolleyes: The pleasure of taking him cost me £60+ - Daddy got away with that one eh!:rolleyes1 - no wonder he was late home from work:rolleyes:

Oh god... themorning just gets better... Ellis has just sneezed half way through chewing his vitamin - I now have vitamin spit as far as the eye can see:rolleyes2 - wonder what I'll be cleaning up next:confused3 - you never know with kids:rotfl:

ANYWAY,...thanks for the tips on the icecream - if its individual pumps then its fine:cool1: - no probs with contamination:thumbsup2 Thats one more thing we can let him do on his own without the nut brigade (aka me!) on his case the whole time:rolleyes1

I've read about these cakes - is tortuga cakes the same as rum cakes or different? Also, Fellow Brits - question - can we take them back to England? Do we need to declare them or anything? Wouldnt wanna get arrested at customs for smuggling illegal rum cakes:eek:

Well, have a great day folks - I'm off to clear up vitamin spit - anyone wanna join me?.....no?....thought not:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: No thanks on the offer to clean up vitamin spit! I once remember cleaning up orange juice that came through the nose of someone laughing so hard. Oh wait, it was me!!:rotfl2: DS made me laugh so hard during one of our trips to WDW that I spewed OJ through my nose all over the poolside table at Caribbean Beach Resort. One woman was so disgusted with me that she gathered up her stuff and moved on. :confused3 That OJ made my nose burn all day long.

So who are the Beavers? Could they be like our Boy Scouts? Glad Ellis made it through at least the meeting.

The Tortuga Cakes that Brenda and I are talking about are the same as rum cakes. I'm not sure if they come in different flavors although I thought I just read about one with a Key Lime flavor. The little one I bought in St Martin was rum. I thought it was kind of expensive for such a little cake. The box can be deceiving. But once I tried a slice (ok, ok...a "chunk") I felt it was worth every penny.:dance3:

Time to get on my bike. My evening will be full. Tonight is the season premier of American Idol and I'm all excited about it. (Or should I say Chuffed??) I know, I know...I'm a weirdo. I just love watching the first few shows where all the rejects sing. Quite entertaining!!:cheer2:

Have a great day all...:flower3:

Us too we love "Idol" not really for the winners (Carrie Underwood:rolleyes2 i know Jess i know am old enough to be her dad ) as such more for the people who "think" they can sing and when they get told "your pants" the look on their face has me and the kids in fits......i almost when to the auditions in San Fransisco hoping I'd get on for a laugh but that would only have confirmed what the kids already think of me "dad a nut job"..... What was i going to sing i hear you ask?..."On Ilkley Moor Batat" (where the ducks play football) in a string fest, jean shorts in a pair of wellingtons boots with a hanky on my head .......My fella brits on here now know the look i was looking for....:rotfl2:

Pooh,

I believe the newest edition of the Passporter comes out next week. :yay: As soon as I get mine, I'll send you my other one. You may want to email or PM me with your address. I'll be sending it via UPS so I would need either a work address or home address. No P.O. Box.

Oh god did I laugh at your OJ story:rotfl2: - I've done Exactly the same - you're right - it does sting!

Yep - Beavers is the littlest group of scouts. Beavers, then cubs then scouts.

Been bouncing about on my swiss ball today but then ruined it with a goats cheese and red onion tart and chips for lunch:rolleyes1 - oh well.....

Near the bottom of page 1 folks...bumping:rolleyes1

Wonder what Jeff is doing:goodvibes - hope the weather is great for him:beach:

Just who told you could sing dear?..."Er like everyone i know down are local (pub) says am ace, best singer in there"....We were once sat in a club when a chap comes on stage at 8.pm and ask "any country and western fans in tonight" the whole club as one answers NO!!....Them the same people at 11.30pm were screaming for "MORE,MORE" am guessing the 12 pots of tetleys finest helped old Kenny Rodgers win them over....:rotfl2:

Can I just say.... as someone who's worked in credit / finance for the last 15 years the idea of a REPO cruise really isn't appealing. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We watched the first 4 hours of 24 on Sunday and Monday, it was pretty good...it's getting a little tiring for me (how many terrorist attacks can Jack thwart.... I mean really?) but hubby LOVED it and is looking forward to the rest of this season!

I am about to watch the premiere of American Idol in a few minutes, I love the first few shows but hubby refuses to watch them, he can't even listen to them in the other room! :lmao:

Brenda, LOL!! :lmao: I hope the prices aren't as high as people are speculating, we would love to do the May repo! 14 days on the Magic...sigh....:cloud9:

Just a speedy good morning bump...so far so good:thumbsup2 - no arguenments and no vitamin spit today:rotfl:

The day can only get worse though - :sad2: - Ellis has a dentist appointment this afternoon - hasnt been in ages - last time he clamped his lips tight shut and wouldnt let her in:rolleyes: Hopefully this time will be more successful as he might want to show her his new big tooth:goodvibes

Aquarobics this morning for me:yay: - my stomach cant face another sit up this week so aqua is the easy option:rolleyes1

I have a question - is Eastern time - Florida time?
When we cruise do the clocks go forward or back - ie if we were eating at 6pm in Florida and Keys, when we go through different time zones would it be 7pm or 5pm? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? Trying ot decide whether to switch from early to late dinner after reading another thread.

Yes Karen, Florida is eastern time. Since we live in the Central Time Zone we set our watches forward by one hour once we get to Florida. We left it that way for the cruise too. I believe that was correct as we never found ourselves standing in an empty restaurant line before our late seating.:rotfl2:

Woke up to 10 degrees this morning with our bedroom window open. Yes, we like to sleep in a cold room but not a meat locker!! Burrrrrrrrrr:scared1:

Alright, who's willing to fess up that they watched Idol last night? OMG!! I never laughed so hard! I just loved the "Cowardly Lion". And too bad they didn't give "Apollo Creed" a chance. I thought he had a pretty good voice when he sang in Italian. The juggling dude was hilarious!   Nice representatives of our lovely Midwestern states.:lmao:

Did you ever have that feeling like you were being watched? I swear my exercise bike is starring me down right now. EASY...big fella...I'm on my way.

Stay warm everyone...:hippie:

OK, I guess I'll have to bump this thing.

Hey guys!!!

I apologize in advance, I have not read any post since we left, and if I post again, I will not read any in between, but be certain that I will read all when I get home.

It has been a GREAT cruise so far. Weather is PERFECT. It was down right HOT in Grand Cayman (swam with the sting rays and then went to 7-mile beach - both were great). We are about an hour out of Cozumel right now. It is sunny and about 77 right now and it is only about 8:00 a.m. Looks like another hot one. Did the cold front come through up there?

Note to Nancy - didn't make the stop in KW (the tour driver pointed it out but I didn't see it). By the time we were done, DS wanted to get back on the boat. Made it there in GC, and should have no problem in Coz. Will PM when back.

No word on the 2008 cruises. On Sun and Mon they played dumb as if they didn't know anything. Last night they all (Sales Mgr and Cust Serv CM's) were saying Thursday. So it looks like everyone will be hanging one more day.

BTW - Suz is talking about doing the Eastbound Repo in '08. Not sure what that will do regarding Oct '07. We will be booking a dumbing 3-nt to transfer to it, as I won't do anything with Oct until the last minute. She may not be able to get 2 weeks off and the price may be too high.

Oh well, I guess I should go see if everyone is up yet. I will try to type some more later this week. Took lots of pictures and will give more details when I get home (and am not paying $.75 per minute :rotfl2: ).

Bye,

Jeff

Hi Jeff! Glad to hear that you are enjoying your cruise so far and I'm glad to know that the weather is cooperating. :thumbsup2

WooHoo Jeff:cool1: , nice to hear from you and glad its hot and sunny:banana: Looking forward to those piccies:goodvibes

Thanks Nancy - I get confused with all those time zones:confused3 - so on the cruise will we not be changing our watches every time we cross time zones? Do we stay on Eastern (florida time)for the whole trip?:confused3 .

My thoughts were forgetting to change my watch and turning up an hour late for dinner and missing the cheesecake:scared1:

I didnt make it to aquarobics in time so I thought "what else is on...body conditioning? whats that?...how hard can body conditioning be?:confused3 - I'll give it a go...."....so..... I get in the studio and everyone around me is getting loads of equipment:eek: - step, hand weights, mat, rubber cord thing with handles on each end and big 4ft bar with weights on:scared1: .... holy cow! - let me sneak out before anyone sees me... too late.. instructor closes door and seals my fate....:scared:

Well..... it looked scary but it was actually ok::yes:: I made it to the end of the class without dropping any weights on my feet or collapsing in a pile or being tied up in knots with my bungee cord thingy. Feeling so proud of myself
that I succumbed(sp) to a rather scrummy chocolate biscuit this afternoon:rolleyes1

Did you make contact with your exercise bike Nancy or is it still staring at you:rotfl2: - I used to use mine to hang clothes on:rolleyes1

PS- dentist went ok, he got a bit tearful when she wanted him to lie down "in the big chair" so she let him sit up instead and he actually opened his mouth this time:thumbsup2 - at least he didnt bite her:lmao:

On the western cruise we will switch from Eastern time to Central when we're headed to Cozumel. Central time is one hour behind Eastern.

I think we switch back to Eastern before getting to Castaway Cay, since that's part of the Bahamas.

You'll have a reminder in your stateroom on the evening that you need to reset your clocks / watches / phones etc...

Think they do it at night. I seem to remember somethig in the navigators.

Still no prices...:confused3 i just hope they make them fair or sky high, one or the other,as it's much easier to say "stick it where the sun dont shine" if you feel your having your pants pulled down with something like $12000 for the 4 of us...:rotfl2:
