ps...£ hit a 4 year high against the $ this morning,great news for us but not so great for the MED cruises this summer....

Chris................ you are sooo funny!!! If only I had her dosh ( Money, incase our American friends havnet heard of that word) we could all be cruising in 2008!!


Have you seen the Universal deal, for 5 days 2 parks??? It looks good, we e mailed Sue Ellen at Dreams inclding tax and tickets to UK, $90.53 each. Not bad with the exchange rate..... great for 5 days, but guess with only 8 before the cruise, I estimate we would use 3 days at Universal. Still thats still very good value.

Chris im impressed with your planning!
I was going to wait to see what the early and late magic hours are, seeing we are staying on site this time, we thought we might as well use them. ( any thoughts from anyone?????.................. we have always AVOIDED these parks, when we were in the villa)
E is good at staying up late, so the night hours will be good for us. Guess we have to rememeber MNSSHP's too.

It was fun last year, but I dont think we will bother this year, the tickets were quite pricey and it was crowded. In fact it was clearer in the day than at the party??? We like the cinderella coach and seeing the dawfts with Snow white, but other than that its was ok, but not as "magical " as we had hoped.

Brenda, do you rememeber meet at Grand Floridian, and me saying we missed Hallowishes at the MNSSHP,a s we were stuck in the queue for Minnie !! Well the next night ( not a party night) they did Hallowishes, so we saw it then ! I was sooooooooooooooo excited and pleased. But there were a couple behind us, who moaned as they had gone to the MNSSHP mainly for that and then they saw them "free" on a normal night.

As we get off the cruise, we are thinking about doing Seaworld that day, as you can get a ticket and go back the next day free. That way we can do Seaworld in two split days.

I didnt know you got FREE parking at the Disney parks , if you stay on site.

Hi all its been a while since my last post, the NHS is mad at the moment,
anyway ive got around to booking my flights so we wont be swimming all the way!!!!!!would look good on the cruise if we did , super slim ( i think not!!!)

we could not fly back on the day we wanted to so we had to extend our holiday for another two days!!! bad news eh?!!!!

with the $ being so good do you think i should pay for the cruise now?? help!!

Hi Medical man nice to hear from you !!!!

As for paying the cruise off, we were thinking the ame thing, I THINK ( Chris is far more knowledgeable than me on this ) the rate will stay fairly high for the next year, so we are not going to pay at the mo, and hold on till Aug. We have the cash in the bank, so will just get interest, all be it not much.

Thanks for the MNSSHP dates, ( doubt we will go, but I might change mind by oct!) now if Disney did a party at MGM, wow Im sure we would do that !!!!

Best way of doing this is...pay the lot by a o % interest CREDIT CARD,keep your money in the bank,building society and just keep taking out each month the amount your CC is asking for so you then get to keep your bank interest AND lock in the good exchange rate being offered NOW....

i work in medical physics,do you work the the NHS?
i am cruisein with my wife cath and my daughter olivia and no we have not been before but we took liv to orlando two years ago and we promised next time we go we will go on a disney cruise and she did not forget!!!! kids eh i love em but i could not eat a full one!!!!!!

has anybody used crown exchange?the rate for sept/oct looks really good, i understand you have to pay up front and get your money before you go.

Medical man.... sorry whats your name? Wow that sounds an intersting job, no I dont work in the NHS. I work Part time for Next. Though on sale days we often need a paramedic!!! hee hee

I use to work in personnel however having Elouise 4 years ago, I decided to take some time off to enjoy (?) her. I work 16 hours a week as the part time store manager. Ian the Full time manager and I can share the hours, so it works really well. We are a large retail store so trade 7 days a week, 9am till 9pm, EVERY day bar Sunday.

How old is your daughter? Elouise made great friends with some Dissers daughters on the last cruise. It was great to see them up dancing at the parties etc.

Off to do the BIG pile of ironing now... yuck !!!

Ironing complete, now bumping !!!

Elouise loves the power rangers, so Im now humming the Power rangers mystic force theme tune ..............she thinks she is Vida the Pink ranger??? She loved seeing them at MGM last year, shes desperate to go again, in her Power rangers costume this time !!!

Its sooo windy and sad here, cant wait for the next 9 months to wizz by. This is like a pregnancy, waiting the 9 months............... gosh hope it wasnt all that "Bumping"!!!???

Anyone in the UK seen Big Brother? Car phone warehouse has pulled out of sponsoring the show... guess even bad publicity is some publicity???
EVERYONE is talking about it at the school gates. What sad mums we are.

Can I ask... am I the only one disappointed by the annoucement of the 2008 itinerary for the Magic?

I think the Panama Canal cruise is cool (but too pricey) but as for the rest...yawn.

Surely there are other options for DCL to choose from, especially when they are celebrating the cruise line's 10th anniversary.

I am not impressed, but I guess enough people are that it doesn't really matter.
