I have been seriously considering it, but I'm afraid I might miss something while I'm in there. :lmao:

The truth is, I can't decide when the best time would be. I keep thinking before or after lunch on a sea day.

Girl I am just going to do the rainforest thing on sea day and MAKE myself go in there and relax for an hour or so. I don't know if I have the patience for the massage thing and the whole sales pitch afterwards.

We are on the 10:A shuttle from DCL. Are you using the DCL shuttle service.
It looks like you all are getting in much later than us. We arrive at 2:30P, but we are coming from VA so it is a short flight.

DW and I went to Cass's World and saw the list of families. Did you all know each other before planning this cruise?

Regards-

Robin here.

We cruised with Timon (Cass & Rob) and Walt & Di in 2005 and had a great time.

Nope not crashing at all. I'll be at the Hyatt in the late afternoon. I had planned to get up early before the family on Saturday to make sure that I hit that first bus to the port. You can join me there. I believe that they start the signups at 0830 and I plan to be hoovering about the area at about 0730 and I'll line up as soon as I see progress!

Hi Steve!

Kind of a funny little story about the check in at the Hyatt. I met up with another family of DISers and we had the same idea about getting first to the check in table. Another cruiser showed up from a different hotel and was all loud about where to line up. He was a seasoned cruiser and knew it all. He was first in line at this one table and told everyone who came in to line up behind him.

We were standing next to another empty table. Here comes the DCL reps and walked right over to the table we were standing at!! Guess who was first in line and guess who at the end of it??:lmao:

I look like crap in a hat but I don't really care, it keeps the sun out of my face! :thumbsup2

Okay, I just finished Dis Tag prezzie #14 :woohoo: Five more to go :thumbsup2 The end is finally in sight :lmao:

Be back later :wave2:

Are there 19 or 20 of us doing tag??

Sales pitch? What are they going to do... try to sell me everything under the sun?

I'm pretty good at saying no. :thumbsup2

Hey there List Master...hahahaha

Since we are driving to Jax on the 19th and then on to the terminal on the 20th, do you want to just switch us to the 20th? We'll try to be there before all of you....

I think its going to be a race for the Terminal on Saturday morning. We are staying at Pop Century on the Thursday night but driving to my parents place on Friday (Okeechobee). So I am hoping to be on the road by 8am on Sat as I believe the drive is almost 2 hours.

There is a Trip Report from someone who was on the western cruise in September and they said by 1045 there was already tons of people at the Terminal - they got boarding pass numbenr 10!

How far of a drive do you have that morning

Oh yeah they do have a sales pitch about something or another and it is usually very expensive. I just say NO.. no interest. And if they start again i say I said no. But Mary... well let's just say she bought like 279.00 worth of pills to detox herself.

I am really glad you all said something about lining up. Renee and I were under the impression that we had a reservation for a specific DCL shuttle. But if I understand you, we have to sign up in the AM. Is that right?
We want to get there soonest so I guess I will be there with Steve at 7:30.

Let me know if I misunderstood something. The DCL rep told us to meet the rep in the lobby around 9:45A. This was a couple of weeks ago when we switched arrival days from Day of to day before.

Thanks for the tip off.

Regards-

I haven't mapquested it yet but I think 2.5 hours from Jax. Might be less I am just guestimating.

I was going to say I wanted to be there early to look for green bracelets and tshirts but i think I packed my bracelets or else I just haven't found them yet... and we didn't make tshirts... soooo I will have to just look for all of you.

We're going to get there ASAP, but are not real concerned about when we board. We want to mill around and see everyone. :grouphug:

I can see it now... We run in to a diser and they shove us aside so they can get a boarding pass before us. :rotfl2:

We know what Cinnamike would say to that;

"HMMMMM... sound familiar Cass & Rob?" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey Susan,

There are 20 of us playing but you bring only 19 gifts (unless you want to tag me twice!!) :lmao:

I just might have to tag you twice because I think I made 20 bags. Maybe i didn't but I think I did...

I would have loved to have been one of the very first to board but i am not going to kill anyone to get that type of number or place in line. I just want to board when they first start boarding. Last cruise we thought they didn't start boarding until 130 or so... so that is when we tried to get there. I think we boarded like at 2 or so.

I'd hate to steer you in the wrong direction Mike, but that's the way it was when we cruised in 2005. We just lined up at a table and went from there. We were lucky enough to be on the first bus out and arrived at the port at 10:15. We received a #3 boarding pass to embark on the Magic.

Things might be different this time around though via the Hyatt.:confused3

we will have our bracelets on but no tshirts - kids are going to look nice for the pictures as well they will probably wear their boarding clothes to dinner - I am really not into changing a million times a day.

what time are you aiming to leave JAX?

Well I am off to read the first chapter of the book that we are discussing tomorrow night at the book club. Nothing like waiting till the last minute right?
