A word about the upgrades:

It is just odd that in one day ALL of the Cat 4 - Cat 10 rooms dissappeard. I even put in for 1 adult passenger only, in case the kids club was full. Only Cats 11 & 12 came up.

If this is what they are doing (and they may not be - they may have given the rest of the ship away for dirt cheap to FL residents to CM's), it would take a couple days to take care of all of it.

What happened in Dec 2005 for our Jan 2006 cruise was the next thing is EVERYONE's room number dissappeared from their ressie online.

When they came back, about 1/3 of us (DISers that is) had gotten upgraded.

It may still be in the works, or there may be none, and the whole ship got sold in one day. If they are doing upgrades, with a group our size and the number of rooms in those Cats that were available on Sunday, I would think that at least 1 of us would get one.

I don't think we will since we are SPH.

Most people think that the closer to the cruise you book, the better chance you have for an upgrade. I can't remember when everyone else booked for that cruise, but I remember ours was a transfer of a date, so we booked really early, but didn't transfer until about 6 or 7 months out.

I'm just pointing out that the room availability is looking weird right now.

FL resident info...I had my TA check about a week ago, and DCL told her that there were no FL rates as of that day and that they very seldom give them out on 7 day cruises.......who knows?

foreign citizenship (Non-U.S.), including children, must provide one of

*Valid, unexpired, Passport and unexpired green I-94 form, also known as
the Visa Waiver Arrival-Departure Form.

Record NOTE: Any guest with less than a Multiple-Entry Visa will be
denied boarding at time of check-in

At time of check-in, Disney Cruise Line will collect all citizenship
documentation for Non-US Citizens. This will assist with expediting
clearance through U.S. Customs and Border protection.

Guests will receive a Citizenship Document Receipt

The documents are stored securely onboard the ship at Guest Services,
Deck 3 Midship.

Upon return to the final U.S. port, all Non-US citizens (including
children) must present themselves to U.S. Custom and Border Protection
for inspection prior to debarkation. The time and location will be
communicated once onboard.

The above guidelines are based on U.S. government regulations, which are
subject to change at any time.

No upgrade for us... We are in a cat 4 (5 of us in the family--and we want to be all in the same room). I thought they never upgraded cat 4 to suites, but I thought I'd check anyway. Aren't cats 1-3 always booked up?

We are the same - in a Category 4 but would love to be upgraded to a 3. Checked, no luck. I cant imagine if that specific upgrade ever happens!

Cats 5 and 6 are back to being available along with Cats 11 and 12.

There are still a full selection of rooms available (meaning at least 8 in each category - the number they let you choose from).

If I decide to check all the rooms again, I may do it this weekend.

Just watched BB. I'm glad that's over. It was driving me crazy. Dick & Danielle are very annoying.

I taped Biggest Loser. I like that show. It tends to inspire me. You're right... it keeps me from having that snack.

I did sneak a few Kissables last night, but only a few--far less than if I was watching Survivor--I like to eat during that show!

THERE'S BIRTHDAY CAKE IN THE LUNCH ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the cake ... I think what you have here is that it's free so people will eat. It's not very good - I usually bypass it (don't need the extra calories right now anyway).
