:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can name a few Americans who I thought cornered the market on smellie.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Since you seem to be our most recent DCL cruisers, do either one of you have a Navigator that tells us how much a case of Evian water is? The Navigator I have saved on my computer is from 2005 and as Brenda said, the price has probably gone up since then.

September 2006 - 24 bottles of Evian was $35.00

Heather

We got a good deal when we stopped at St Thomas for our beach break. For a DCL cooler bag and 6/8 bottles of Evian with ice cost us $14.00.

Good idea Heather!! Thanks

Hey wait a second, I resemble that remark. :rotfl2:

I believe they have 2 times for the Pirate Encounter. You may have some luck.

You could always get Niel to agree to booking the REAS. That would let you book at 105 days.

I dont stand a chance on the REAS...not Neils sort of thing at all - he's never even had a massage. I on the other hand love them, but with moving house I cant justify the extra $$$ to be pampered. Just happy to be onbaord:banana:

Am here Ive just bought 2 tickets to champions league final in athens for £1200 or $2400.....:dance3:  :dance3:

Holy cow Chris:scared1: - mind you if it was Birmingham Neil would probably try to go too.

Karen I've also booked that Victoria and Albert's restaurant at the grand Floridan for Hazel and Jess as a surprise,i'll have to tell one of them but which one?....i asked Jess this morning on her way out the door "Do you love daddy"..."Er whatever"....was the answer i got....she aint a morning person......:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

You are such a good hubby and Daddy  - I'm sure they'll love it.

No Jeff thats £1200 just for a pair of tickets no airfair which if it's United and the unwashed loserpool in the final THIER CHEAP.....you only have to look at what people pay to watch your Superbowl....and a united/Liverpool CL final would be the greatest final EVER they are the super powers of british football, capacity is 80,000 they could sell 500,000 tickets no problem even taking into account the final is in Greece.....:)

I'd rather buy a 42" flat screen and watch it at home:rotfl:

Nancy,

There is a CVS near the port in Key West. You could always bring a small package on with you in PC and then get another in KW. This should hopefully be enough for the rest of the cruise.

Honestly though, I've never had a problem with the water from the tap. We just get it for excursions.

Jeff

We are going to do that too. Our cooler will be too full of wine and beer to bring much water onboard so we'll stock up at Key West.:thumbsup2

Nancy ours is FREE maybe we could do a deal to let you have some of ours:rolleyes1

Now you opened the door on that one.

I'm next in line after Nancy.

I'm not getting in line - just pass me a bottle every now and then please Chris - you'll find me sitting on your verandah:lmao: :lmao:

She is one that we have heard from in the past few weeks.

Hopefully we'll have more activity as the cruise gets nearer.

Where are you Rose???????:confused3 - come back and play!

This posts makes 990. Only 10 more until the big 1,000.

What shall I post for that one??

Make it some nice news:cool1:

Jeff please Ive only just had lunch....Going back to the water I'll just tell them were British and we can only bathe in BOTTLED WATER.....SMELLIE BRITS OR MORE WATER?...:rotfl2:

Speak for yourself Chris:eek:

Got a life sizer??

Ewk!

I thought it was the French that smelled, not the Brits?

Just kidding to those that are French. I am actually of French descent (mainly my name - mostly from Belgium).

Exacatly Karen. You'd be able to get big than 42" for that kind of money.

The 24 bottles are less than $1.50 per bottle. If you get 8 in the pack, you're at $1.75. You need to think if you need another cooler. But, if it is DCL, not a bad price. You could bring a cooler from home and have your room steward bring you ice in the a.m.

FRENCH:scared1:

PS...Funny story Jeff, when i was a kid my sister got a french girl to stay at our house she was 17 my sister was about 15 at the time, she was gorgeous drop dead GORGEOUS like a bloody super model but as the days went by of her stay the house began to get some very odd wiff....my dad walks in from work and shouts "what the bloody hell's your mother cooking now,old socks"....IT WAS HER THE DIRTY COW SHE DIDN'T SHOWER THE WHOLE TIME SHE WAS WITH US.........:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Now to tackle the Multi Quote Queen's post (13 of them Karen :scared1: ). I won't respond to all of them.

I dont stand a chance on the REAS...not Neils sort of thing at all - he's never even had a massage. I on the other hand love them, but with moving house I cant justify the extra $$$ to be pampered. Just happy to be onbaord:banana:

Same here, but opposite parties. I love getting massages, but Suz hates being touched by strangers. She will get her toes done though. I actually had mine done before our last cruise (no comments Chris).

We are going to do that too. Our cooler will be too full of wine and beer to bring much water onboard so we'll stock up at Key West.:thumbsup2

If we brought anything on in PC it would be the water and maybe some Bloody Mary mix. I like Virgin Mary's, so to have one in the room while getting ready for dinner along with the cheese platter would be perfect. I'm not a wine drinker but Suz is. If she has any, it is usually by the glass since a bottle would go to waste with us (doesn't drink it fast enough). She is mainly a Martini drinker and will have one with dinner most nights.

Make it some nice news:cool1:

What would you like to hear/see?

Don't you like Borat?

You know you dream of him Karen.

Sounds good - do they do this for the Magic too?

Ummm Karen......the Magic is the one that sails to St. Thomas. (just teasing you) The Wonder only goes to the Bahamas (unless it is on a special cruise).

P -5 until my 1,000th post.

Good morning everyone! I have to agree about the thread going quiet. I know that we have become extremely busy with baseball/softball/moving plans.........

Rose, where are you? Are you ok? Drop us a quick line. You know, you have to stay in touch with your "dis family!":rotfl:

Nancy, (and anyone else) I have a question about water bottles. Did y'all just bring on an empty cooler (I have a rolling collapsible one) and a case of water right onto the ship at check in? We've only cruised once before (3 day) and we flew in so we didn't want any extra "stuff" to check for just 3 days. But this time we are driving (God help me!) so we will have room for that "extra stuff."

Another question...about making Palo ressies. Is the 90 day mark from the first day of the cruise or the date you want to go to Palo? I just want to double check what I wrote on my calendar because I think I will be "in transit" in Louisiana when that date comes around.

Finally, could you all keep your fingers crossed that Rob finishes up his thesis in the next couple of weeks? If I have to hear very much more about cost estimation and the DoD.....suffice it to say it is all WAY over my head. :scared: :lmao: He actually had no mention of the thesis today. This morning he was talking about being on the verandah with the sun beating down on him.....now that's more like it!:woohoo:

Ok, can you tell that I have already had a cup of my strong coffee? I'm off to get another cup.........:surfweb:

Oh, and Chris, good for you on the tix! I know that would be a dream come true for my dad--the Super Bowl that is. Going to an event is a once in a lifetime event for a true sports fan!

Karen--just wanted to say congrats on all your house goings on!:cool1: Please don't think that you are boring us with house news. I love hearing about how things are going with you. Keep it coming, girl!:goodvibes

Paige this would be my second CL final:rolleyes1 i was there in 1999 when we last won the cup with the big ears....

ps...Can i let you know later about the size?:rolleyes1 any idea coming back from your end?....:)

Hi Paige, i see your green light is on !!! looks like our dinning is all sorted!!

:cool1: :cool1:

Am here Ive just bought 2 tickets to champions league final in athens for £1200 or $2400.....:dance3:   :dance3:
Wow Chris I really really hope Man U do well tonight. The tickets are a bargain! If you want to sell one i would buy it for Wayne, you 2 could have a mini dis meet.!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I think it will be an outstanding final... lets pray for Chelsea, and then lets woop their buts! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Get your air fare asap, our the flights might sell out! Well done you for getting the tickets !

I reckon Chris is at the photo studios getting his photo taken - HINT HINT - We want to see you Chris...get that handsome face on the yahoo site so we know whose balcony to invade:goodvibes ;)

And I think Lindy is at work

YES Chris WHERE IS A PHOTO????:confused3

Yes Karen I was working this morning!

Jeff or Linda,

Since you seem to be our most recent DCL cruisers, do either one of you have a Navigator that tells us how much a case of Evian water is? The Navigator I have saved on my computer is from 2005 and as Brenda said, the price has probably gone up since then.

I foolishly offered to buy the water for the kids before I knew how much they were.:scared1:

Sorry I have no idea , Heather answered you though....

Seems expensive to me :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Paige this would be my second CL final:rolleyes1 i was there in 1999 when we last won the cup with the big ears....

ps...Can i let you know later about the size?:rolleyes1 any idea coming back from your end?....:)

Later is fine, since anything I get will be "gotten" after we move in June. Ideas from our end.....Rob has a bar (not one that patrons visit, just one that we have on the patio) so a beer mug or shot glass would probably be a good idea.......

Yes, Linda, looks like you're stuck with us! I am so excited! Sean, we are happy to get to know y'all, too!:cool1:
