On castawayclub.com they have a nav from Feb 24 7 day western....It's on Tuesday.....DRAT! I wanted it to be on Wednesday.:headache:

I think that is the exception. I just looked at those Navs and they put Pirate Party the same night as Golden Mickey's. That does not happen when it's planned. Further, the night of the GM's is usually a formal night. The attire for that night was pirate or casual.

Something must have happened for them to do this. I wonder if there was the possiblility of rain on that Wednesday night. Plus, they left at 1:00 a.m. which was A LOT later than we left in January.

You would think they'd put the Pirate Party on Tuesday with the fireworks because it is such a short distance from GC to Coz that they could go slow. I bet with the late departure from Coz in Feb they had to go full steam to get to CC on time on Friday. Plus, probably can't do fireworks while in port and no one was staying up until 1:00 a.m. to see them.

We'll have to see if some new Navs get put up.

I sure hope that was the reason! It totally screws up my plans for Palo.....I know that dining rotation requests are not guaranteed, but I have to plan....:lmao: I want to go to Palo for dinner on day 4, the night that the rotation has us going to the restaurant that we will be in 3 times........I am hoping for APL rotation. thanks, Jeff!

I was reading a trip report from someone on the 2/24 western. Here's what she said.....Pirate Night was a day early on our cruise. I found out after we returned through the DIS that this was because there was a plan for the next night at Cozumel to leave later than usual (1 am) and allow CMs some (much-deserved) time off the ship. So, the fireworks would be on Tuesday night after we set sail from GC on our way to Cozumel.

Ok, I feel better. Thanks again, Jeff, for letting me know that it was unusual to have Pirate night with Golden Mickeys.:)

Okay, I will add Kira's weekly photos now

Feel free to skip page 328 :rolleyes1
