I'm off to bed with a glass of wine and a dvd. Hubby is on night shift again, so I dont expect to see him til morning.

Going to bed with liquor and a movie while the husband is away. What might you be watching?

How long have you been married? Dont you know how to get round her yet???:scared1: - come on man, give it your best shot...."but dear.. of course you need a new wardrobe if we cruise... yes dear, new perfume is a cruise must have....yes dear, new shoes and matching handbag are cruise essentials ...yes dear, I know we recently did the same cruise, but not with THESE NUTTERS!........come on Jeff...the list is endless;) ...so is a womans shopping list:lmao: (and shoe collection);)

Get your ds to work his magic - I'm putty in my sons hands - one cute look and he gets everything:rolleyes: ...and if he gives me a kiss with his arms around my neck (WITHOUT ME BEGGING FIRST) - oh geez - toys r us here we come:lmao:

Is your ds the same? - all the other moms at school still get kisses as their children go into school - mine just mumbles "get off - people are watching":sad2: - he is the oldest in his year and sometimes I wish he was 2 weeks older (he'd have made it into the next school year above). He's very old for his age in a lot of ways, plus mixing with adults most of the time (no brothers or young cousins either) makes him even more like an old man.

ANYWAY - LESS MATHS AND MORE PLEADING - we'll even plead for you if you can get Suz on here. Come on........we need nut free table mates:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Get round my wife? You haven't seen her. It would take forever to get around her. :rotfl2: Oops, did I say that out loud?

As for her needing anything new for this trip - forget that. She just went in January, you guys didn't see what she wore and she won't take pictures in the same thing, so forget getting new clothes/shoes. This will just save more money.

Yeah, she melts when DS gives her unsolicited hugs and kisses. I probably could ram this thing home right now, but I would feel guilty. I want both of them to be bought into the idea that we are going on the cruise instead of Legoland, Disneyland, SeaWorld, and Cal Adv for Mickey's Halloween Treat. Both trips by the way are the same price per night and we'd have free air to CA (I can't see using FF tickets for FL when it is only $200. $450 to SNA and I'll use them. So it's not really apples to apples).

DS goes in spurts. Some days he will take a hug and kiss goodbye when I drop him off, other times (less frequently) he will tell me to just go.

I already told Suz that if we were to go we should see if you, Neils and Ellis wanted to hook up. I'd have to make sure Suz is fine with the nut thing (she's not a big nut eater and can do without, but I'd have her go through the menus again to be sure. BTW, is it just peanuts or all nuts?). I think DS and Ellis would hit it off, maybe too much and we'd have two handfuls at the dinner table. The only thing is that we had a bad experience on our first cruise with tablemates and since then have always done a table by ourselves. She has gotten comfortable with that. I think I could get her to break that mold if we came, however. We're all about the same age too.

robins away on business for 2 days so im a bachelor and im sitting here with all my friends. (no one). 78 degrees in ohio today... snow by thursday.
snow for the cleveland indians home opener on friday. by the way the heres a vote the american style of baseball. makes no sense to let the pitchers hit.
GO TRIBE!!

Mike, maybe you can borrow Karen's DVD tonight. :lmao:

Excuse me, but didn't pitcher's bat when baseball started. Show a person's true ability. You AL'ers are the weird ones. Plus, your games take too long. (just kidding ya)

Up north in WI tonight they have a Winter Storm Warning. They are expecting 10 inches tonight (of snow).

To get to #15, maybe we can get Cass to post 400 pictures of Kira. That would be great. No one would mind looking at that cutie. :cutie: :thumbsup2

You shouldn't say things like that!! Cus I WILL do it!!

:welcome: AverysMommy !!!!

Yay! Another Canadian :rolleyes1 I was feeling a teeny tiny bit left out....although I was offically adopted by the "AMERICAN NON-WI'ers" :dance3:

Yeah, now that you have 2 from Canada, you are your own team. Just kidding. I think there were two from OH as well and we didn't make them team up.

Not sure who is in the lead right now, UK or WI.

Okay, I thought of something to chat about!

Inspired by GOS....(found out what GOS meant! :upsidedow )

Tell us about your user name!!! Any background info about it, how to pronounce it if it's not obvious etc...

I will start!

I registered the very first day since I had found the DIS in 1997. I went to log in as "Cass" and it came back with a message saying that I could not choose this name as it had a bad word in it!!  DOH! So instead I chose my fave Disney Character (other than Mickey of course!) Timon!!!

It's also on my license plate. I laugh when non-Disney people try to pronounce it ....Tim-un :lmao: I'm like NO!!! It's Tim-own!! :upsidedow

Oh and by the way, the rules have OBVIOUSLY changed since there is now a "Cass" on this board! Nice lady too, another Canadian as well :thumbsup2

Okay...next!!!!!

Any pics you want to post, we will gladly look at.

How old is she now? About 5 months?

LOL, you may regret saying that!!! :lmao:

She's 19 weeks on Thursday, just over 4 months :) Hmm maybe I should post her weekly photos??? :rolleyes1

Ok, now wanting to know what GOS stands for?

As well as how others came about.... like oybolshoi ...what is that?

Scouter was the name of the second cat we owned in our home who only lived about a year and a half and died a horrible sudden death of some unknown heart condition. It was very sad. His name was really Scout but we called him Scouter quite often.
He was my son's kitty, when Sean was only about 9.
We have his remains and a favorite photo of him and my DS on our fireplace mantel.

I'll go next...

Oybolshoi is the English spelling of two Russian words - oy and bolshoi, pronounced as follows:

Oy (think boy without the "b")... bol (pronounced bowl) ... shoi (rhymes with oy).

It's a joke. In Russian "oy" translates to "oh" and "bolshoi" is an adjective that means big or large. So here I am... Oh Big!

I got in trouble one day in Russian class for suggesting that the English translation of Bolshoi Ballet was "Big Ballet." :lmao: :lmao: Our professor was not amused.

And then one day I came across the exclamation "Oy!" and I remembered my favorite Russian adjective and put the two together.

The rest, as they say, is history. ;)

:welcome:  :wave2:

Welcome to Jessalynn, Avery, Spencer and Vanessa

Thank you so much for the welcome - we are all very excited about the trip. I am a little nervous about the late seating for dinner but I am trying not to worry about it.

I hope people dont mind but I will probably ask lots of questions once we finally book (probably this coming weekend, we will do it). Looking at a Category 4 as there are 5 of us.

Talk to you soon
Jessalynn

Disgrits....DIS for the DIS....GRITS stands for Girls Raised In The South. No, I do not cook or eat grits.

In my email address I am gritsquene (grits-queen) inspired by my sister who is thevoodooqueen............

My favorite joke in Hercules the Muse-ical was the Bolshoi one. I was the only one in the audience who laughed....LOUD. A couple of the cast members later told me that they heard me. It was very funny...a play on the words bull sh*t....I guess I was the only one in the theatre with my mind on that kind of humor.:lmao:
