And that's it!! WHEW!!! Week 19 is in two days!!

I printed these photos out and I put them in a 4x6 mini album which makes it easy to flip through. I take the pics every Thursday on our couch. Weeks 46, 47 & 48 will have to be taken in Disney World and on the cruise :)

What a crazy Timon, posting all those pictures of her. When she gets older she'll have something to say; hopefully its not archived on the net for twenty years!
But really, <sigh>... what a beautiful daughter we have :)

BTW: Darkrobe is from my DJ alias, I always wear black when I'm dj'ing (hence the Dark) and Robe is short for Robert. And if you're wondering about my avatar, that is me in costume.

Going to bed with liquor and a movie while the husband is away. What might you be watching?

A girlie movie - and the wine was just to help me sleep while hubby was working. I cant sleep when hes not sleeping (snoring) beside me - its too darned quiet!

As for her needing anything new for this trip - forget that.

I already told Suz that if we were to go we should see if you, Neils and Ellis wanted to hook up. I'd have to make sure Suz is fine with the nut thing (she's not a big nut eater and can do without, but I'd have her go through the menus again to be sure. BTW, is it just peanuts or all nuts?). I think DS and Ellis would hit it off, maybe too much and we'd have two handfuls at the dinner table. The only thing is that we had a bad experience on our first cruise with tablemates and since then have always done a table by ourselves. She has gotten comfortable with that. I think I could get her to break that mold if we came, however. We're all about the same age too.

Jeff....I'll let you into a secret........................women never actually NEED anything......they just WANT them;)

No worries about being table mates:snooty: - we're not offended:snooty: - only kidding - we could always just wave to each other accross the room:wave2:

Mike, maybe you can borrow Karen's DVD tonight. :lmao:

Dont think you'd be interested Mike - "Educating Rita" - old movie about a middle aged woman going to college - sound good?

we actually have two of those bricks at wdw with our name on them. we happened to be there the first day they went on sale in 1994 so we got two of them. one on each side of the grey bricks in the middle. whenever we go to wdw we take a toothbrush to our bricks to clean them up.
one year robin and i laid down on the ground with our faces next to the bricks and had a picture taken. a cast member came by and thought we were crazy. he was right.

We did this in Paris too. The french people were almost stepping (on) over us:eek:

I sent my friends to see my brick when they went to DLP.....they spent ages looking and was just about to give up when they realised one of them was standing on it and had covered it up:lmao:

She truly is georgous :cutie: - and thats some nice wardrobe she has - didnt see the same outfit twice!

Anyway, my Dis name is totally boring and obvious. I'm Karen Mouse everywhere, easier to remember than loads of different names and passwords. Heather even found me on ebay;)

Cass - just watched those Kira movies - Oh my god!!!!! - that raspberry one is just the cutest!!!!!!!!! - shes trying so hard bless her:cutie:  :cutie:

I vote page 328 as the best page yet on this thread.

That is one cute baby.

No, I said we'll do what it takes to make it work (i.e. menu selections). I was pointing out that the family we had the first cruise was awful. Pulling teeth was more pleasant than trying to strike up a conversation with them.

Since then, we always asked for a "4-top" table (only 4 places) for the 3 of us. It is kind of nice because you aren't making anyone wait for you and you don't have to wait for them.

I think dining with you guys would be great. I was just saying Suz is probably in her routine of being alone. If we do end up on this cruise, I think she'd be open to trying tablemates again. At least ones we know (well, via the DIS).

DITTO!!! She must do all her shopping at the Disney Store.:mickeyjum

Hey Jeff, how about that wind last night? I've been up since 3:00 (I know, surprise, surprise) listening to all the garbage cans hitting the house.:scared:

Karen, Karen, Karen.

You should know me by now. I can make a play on words no problem. And with a title like that, and even the story line, look out.

I will let this one lay.

Hey Jeff, how about that wind last night? I've been up since 3:00 (I know, surprise, surprise) listening to all the garbage cans hitting the house.:scared:

Last night, try still this morning. I'm sitting here in the closet (had to throw that one out for some comments - I actually have my computer set up in the walk-in closet in the guest room) and the attic access panel is right above me. Not only can you hear the wind, but it pull the panel too.

To top it off, we are up on a hill with a farm field behind us. The wind just howls up here. Even on a calm day it's windy.

Oh, and by the way, nice try blaming it on the wind Nocturnal Nancy. :rotfl2:

I was reading a trip report from someone on the 2/24 western. Here's what she said.....Pirate Night was a day early on our cruise. I found out after we returned through the DIS that this was because there was a plan for the next night at Cozumel to leave later than usual (1 am) and allow CMs some (much-deserved) time off the ship. So, the fireworks would be on Tuesday night after we set sail from GC on our way to Cozumel.

Ok, I feel better. Thanks again, Jeff, for letting me know that it was unusual to have Pirate night with Golden Mickeys.:)

That would have been nice to know going into one's cruise. People make their plan 75-90-105 days out. To change on a dime like that (if that is what they did) isn't fair to the passengers.

The staff does work hard and deserves a little extra time off ship, but plan for that then and let us know. Put it down that every X week of the month or every other month the itin will be alterred to this schedule.

My apologies if this was known going into the cruise.

I'm sitting here in the closet

I'm not touching that one..(tee hee):lmao:

So here's a funny story that I told a customer over the phone one day...

I used to work with U.S. Savings Bonds back when I worked at the bank. A customer called and said that he tried to make a few changes on his bonds a few weeks ago.

I shuffled through some papers to look for the changes but couldn't find anything. Finally found it and had to call him back. Here's how the conversation went:

Customer: Hello, Hello? (Why twice?, I don't know but that's how he answered the phone)

Nancy: Hello Mr. Jones. This is Nancy calling back from Firstar Bank about your bonds.

Customer: Hello, Hello? (OK, now I got a little distracted).

Nancy: Yes, I was going through my changes ...and.....

(Customer and the two older ladies who sat in front of me are now giggling)

Customer: What? You're going through your changes? Why would I want to know that?

So I tried to carry on with the conversation because I still had no idea what I said that was so funny. When things finally wrapped up he said: "Good luck going through your changes young lady".

D'UH!! Light finally shinned on marble head!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

OK, so if you're not laughing, it is probably one of those" "Guess you had to be there" things.
:confused3

A quick bump before going kick boxing. Just been to cinema to see Meet the Robinsons, it was OK, a bit of a complicated story line for Elouise, who was dancing in the ailse with her friend, during the movie. a nice "moral" to the story though. We didnt see it in 3d as the cinema that does 3d is over an hours drive away in Bristol.

Jeff are you coming on the cruise now ??? all this table talk with Karen ???
Cass loving the photos! :thumbsup2

have a great day everyone................ x

No.

Just table talk. I was mentioning how we would have looked into hooking up with them if we were going. We are all about the same age I think Karen will be 40, Suz will be 43, Neils will be 38, I'm 39, Ellis will be 7, DS is 7. Plus we are both on early and want the same rotation. Further, if we were going, we would be doing pretty much the same things on the cruise.

Guess I need a little more pillow talk with Suz to convince her to go. All I get in response is snoring. :rotfl2:

Just an update, #17 is 35 behind us.

I see though, we are just over 60 posts from 5,000. Should we push over that mark today? Anyone up for it?

I'm only 18 posts away from the number of post I have on "the other" thread. Maybe I should steal a page here sometime today. :scratchin

Jeff, I agree about the passengers needing to be notified. The report I read just mentioned it matter-of-factly so it may not have been a big deal for them. I know I would have been disappointed if we would have had to cancel our Palo ressies because of Pirate Night....we want to be with our kids in the restaurant on Pirate Night. That's prime Kid-embarrassing time...Embarrassing the kids is what Rob and I live for!!:lmao:

Cass--can I bite your baby's feet? Just kidding. She's is a precious little thing! Can't wait to see her in her Easter dress--hint hint.:)

Nancy, glad you're back.

Linda, kickboxing? :worship:

I'm off to volunteer in Alex's class.....:teacher:
