Not sure if it is true, but we heard Tortuga was actually Grand Cayman before the British owned it. It means something like "turtle" or something to do with turtles. :confused3

I thought it meant RUM

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Timon?? Where are you???? Haven't seen Cass in a while. Come out, come out wherever you are....:dance3:

I could have a page of my own here people. I haven't had one yet. You don't want to ruin my good record now do you?:confused3

Wonder what's going on with my ticker?

Are you all waiting to pounce on my 14th post??

Six more to go. C'mon...someone save me!!

I wish this was page 444. It would be easier to remember.

Guess with dial up I don't have to worry about the 40 second rule.

Does the 40 second rule apply with Key Lime pie dropped on the floor too??

How many is this now. I'm getting bored.

Hey!! I just got slapped with the 40 second rule. I must type fast!

I'm now convinced!! I'm just as crazy as all the other KK's who own their own page.

I didn't want to ruin your page by yourself! :lmao: One of these days I'm gonna get my own....................

Can we put together a KK suggestion list of our own of things to do and see? I know there are lists and suggestions out there on the main boards somewhere but you all have some really great ideas and I'm all for taking advice from people I'm cruising with, but darn if I forget to write down most of the advice! Like maybe each repeat cruiser write down their top five suggestions for the cruise. This would tremendously help out the lone Ohioan who's never set foot on DCL nor has every met anyone in person who has either. :thumbsup2

Sure Abby! We could list it on our Yahoo site so it's easy to add to.

I'll start here:

1) Try to eat at Parrot Cay on embarkation day. It's less crowded.

2) Use a brightly colored hair scrunchie to tie around the handle of your suitcase. It'll be easier to find on disembarkation day in the warehouse. (This idea won me a free DCL Passporter a few months ago).

3) Loved the idea of the cheapy pocket shoe hanger behind the bathroom door for toiletries.

4) Bring a bathroom deodorizer. For some reason the bathrooms in your cabin smell a little (no!! not that!!) and a "plug-in" really helps. Buy the one's with a built in night light.

5) Here's an idea I wish I would have followed on my first cruise. Pace yourselves with the Conked Coolers on Castaway Cay!!

Is this what you had in mind Abby??

Now I know for sure that Jeff and Cheryl did Westerns most recently. Maybe they can give us all some great ideas for our itineraries.
