I would if I got a port arrival time between 11 - 11:30. What PAT did you get assigned?

Hi - ya know, our final payment date is August 6, and I was waiting until August 1st (for the credit card cycle) to pay, so I haven't gotten a PAT yet - I am freaking out a bit now, should I have gotten one already? This is our first Disney Cruise, so this is new to me. I guess I just figured that all of you already doing your booking stuff was because you were repeat cruisers, I hope I am not missing something. Thanks for all of your advice, I really appreciate it!!

You don't get your arrival time until you are paid in full but don't worry they hold lots out for each category of cruisers.

Out families sound very similar!! My dd 3rd bday is oct 8 and son will be 6 in jan. hope to meet up with you!! This is our third, too!!! Where are you from?!

That's awesome! We are from Ohio! Where are you guys from?

I need to be better at checking in... We are getting ready to move into our new house so my brain is going in 101 directions! :)

It's killing me. I'm going to wish my summer away. We were able to get a dinner at Palo, some spa time, and we have signed up for the kayaking/hiking port adventure at Castaway Cay. We've decided to visit the casinos and try our luck in St Martin. Hoping everyone else gets their activities:cool1: reserved!

What is the Spa Villa listed as ? I couldn't find it last night...

I was looking at the Couples Choice - that was either sold out on the days we wanted it or only available about 5PM in the evening.

The other two couples villas are listed as Romantic Hideaway and Ultimate Indulgence but now that I think about it, those can only be booked on board and showed up as sold out the first time I logged in Saturday night.

We have done both. I like staying at the port. You have a relaxing dinner and a few drinks and a relaxing morning. When we stay onsite I want to do to a park for a little while or DTD!!! So it's really up to you. Cocoa beach is really nice for a walk in the afternoon or dusk!!

I agree we like staying at the port. I can not wait!

I hope we can still do our usual walk on Coco Beach. And I need a new hat from Ron Jon's :-) :-)

I know this cruise was supposed to be my 40th birthday present from my hubby (A few months late. So, we could sail with friends), but . . .

He surprised me this past week and we have been in Las Vegas!!! This was the first time I have been to Vegas without the kids or being pregnant. We had a blast!!! DH surprised me from beginning to end with this trip. We stayed at the Paris hotel/casino with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio.

View from our room!

My birthday (July 18th) was the highlight of the trip . . . woke up and had breakfast in the concierge lounge that had almost the identical view from our room, gambled a bit at Paris and Caesars Palace, lunch at Paris.

Me smiling pre-gambling at Caesars. DH did better than I did!

The evening was spent at The Venetian.

My birthday @The Venetian.

We had an amazing Italian dinner at a restaurant on their St Marks Square followed by seeing the Blue Man Group.

This show IS amazing!!!

I have to thank my hubby for pulling off this surprise. He did good!!!

I hope everyone that was online booking their reservations this past weekend got what you wanted. pixiedust:

Since the online check-in is not available immediately after booking our dining and excursions, we almost forgot to do it to get a lower boarding time. Luckily, we finished it this past Friday. Phew! Got an 11:00 am boarding time. I believe that is the earliest. Reminder, don't forget to do your online check-in too!!!

:thumbsup2 DH and I are booked on that. :wave2: I'll make sure to say "Hi!". The description made it sound sooooooo relaxing. I can't wait!!! :cloud9:

we didn't get to St John the last time we were in St Thomas, so this seemed like a perfect way to get there. My husband loves to snorkel and I love to sail so it's the perfect excursion!

Hi - ya know, our final payment date is August 6, and I was waiting until August 1st (for the credit card cycle) to pay, so I haven't gotten a PAT yet -

As PP mentioned you can have a Port Arrival Time assigned after/during online check in, which I thought everyone, including first timers could already perform. So much for the time passing quickly till Oct 20th.:rotfl:
As PP said once paid in full and at 75 days out, you can book ressies at 12:01 eastern time, then check-in is at 3:01 where you get PAT time. This PAT time slot is related to your actual boarding # assigned at port IF Not using DCL transport.

So if I understand, you will be checking in a few days after 75 days out. So the other 3994 guests could/may obtain a PAT before your party.:scared1: We also play the CC cycles.:thumbsup2

It's OK, not everyone knows to do online check in ASAP. Also even if you show prior to your PAT they won't turn you away unless the terminal is at capacity. If assigned a late PAT time it only means you will have to wait till general boarding is called, which IMO would be around 12:45 - 1:00. Also many try to plan to arrive after open boarding to avoid a crowed terminal. It can get crowed between 11 - 1. The trick for most is to arrive after open boarding and prior to the DCL buses from the resorts, which could start to arrive at 1:30.

Online check-in at 3am has 5 or 6 steps of info required prior to PAT assignment. These included; Guest info(names), ID(passport or DL), Pre / post details(when arriving, where staying, flight #, airline, etc.), Onboard acct. info(using CC or cash), and Accept T&C(check box).

Most skip what they can and edit later. I said cash for OBC, Driver License, etc. etc. just so the page will ungray and open the PAT section.

The reservation section can be done at 12midnight but has a weird quirk. After you select an item for your cart you must click "confirm". Also if you look back at availability the item still shows available to you, but only you. It makes people think "it" didn't take or something. Also DCL site prefers Firefox browser fwiw.

Wow that was long
HTH and Good Luck

Northeast of Indy, fishers. . My husband works north side of Dayton in huber heights and travels a lot back and forth!!! Getting exited! What Part of Ohio?!

Hi, Everyone. Yes, it's me again. Gosh, I must say that it has been one CRAZY summer so far!!! And school hasn't even started yet! I thought I was going to have a nice pleasant summer with my niece before she head off to college. But, NO. We have been running all over southern California. The problem is, that she is going to be going to one school this fall and another one in the spring if all goes well.

And to make matters even worse, we still have to pay in full yet. Long story there, but to make it short, trying to make sure that the girls will be able to go and when they can go before making final arrangement.

Anyway, my house now just belongs to my husband and me until my niece returns. Oh, and by the way, my husband's niece will be joining us at that time as well!!! WE NEED A BIGGER HOUSE!!!

So, I am going to spend this week catching up with my beloved DISboards.

I am so glad that I popped in last week for a hot minute. I found out that they were having a special on on September cruise. Disneyland annual passholders receive a 25% discount!! I called to see if it would apply to us, and it did!!! We are being refunded $536.00!!! That will pay for someone's flight out to Florida in October.

But, enough of the madness that has be going on around here. I have about 20 pages to catchup on and new folks to say "Howdy" and add to the list. So, I will do that. But, I AM back for the time being SO LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
