Good news! whisper, whisper I think Kaleigh is finally turning the corner. Her butt is starting to look better too. She even acted more like herself today. Hopefully this will be forgotten by next week.

I had a good morning at work. Now I am off till the 1st weekend in December.

Sandy: Don't fret. I am sure you will get back to your pre-cruise weight and then some.

Sue: You deserve an afternoon off!

Faith: Hang in there! Just keep thinking happy thoughts of your wonderful cruise and all your new friends!

Maybe, if Kaleigh really gets better, I can get out and do some shopping for Christmas soon.

A rainy, foggy day today, but it is a good night to snuggle in with a drink and the fireplace. I am going to watch Dr. G, medical examiner tonight. Fascinating show! In honor of Montezuma's Revenge (read kaleigh), I had a Tequila gimlet on Wednesday night.

Morning guys, just a little quickie and maybe I can post more this afternoon. Ted has been called in to snowplow at 4pm so I am going to spend some time with him.

Denine, I could tell by your post that you might be seeing the end. You even sounded happy. GOOD!!

Julie and Denine, thanks for the encouragement. It is so hard to lose right now and before the cruise I was losing 2-4 a week. Oh well enough of poor me. Faith is still in the hospital and here is the latest from Kristy:
today was a tough day for her. she tried real food, but had it go through her really fast. lunch went better chix soup, but after dinner she was sick and in more pain again. maybe she started food to fast. they said will see how she feels tomorrow but she really has to take it slow. she said she feels as though she's getting worse she still has a temp. i felt so bad leaving her. But she really wanted me to go home for a little rest. well tomorrow is another day. Hopefully when I talk to you I'll have great news.

I am concerned over the dudettes.....it has been a long time. Unusual.

Julie: I'd be interested in the whole story when you can tell it. You neve get all the info in the paper.

We are going to my mom's for Thanksgiving, sort of. We are all going to dinner at their church. We have't spent Thanksgiving with them ever, except for brunch in the morning. Jerry's dad just isn't feeling well. He is weak and can't eat. He is coughing and can't lay down. The did some tests this morning, but we won't know anything till Monday at the earliest. We will have a post turkey day dinner when he is feeling up to it.

I hope they find out what is wrong with Faith soon so she can feel better.

Hera now has the eye infection. The vet said to give her the medicine and we will get more if we run out.

Kaleigh still seems to be improving. Yippeee!!! He butt is starting to look better too. I think the new cream is working.

I ordered Christmas stockings from LL Bean yesterday. Kaleigh got one from my parents last year, so I got for me and Jerry. Now I just need stocking holders.

Ted's out snowplowing, I'm doing laundry and Heidi is napping. What a day! Went Christmas shopping with Heidi. The crowds are already out there. We will do more the day after Thanksgiving. Call us crazy!

Just got off the phone with Kristy. Faith is home but just not feeling well. Lots of pain and nausea. What is wrong has a long title and I can't begin to explain it. Something about pockets in the lower intestine, I believe. She can't eat anything with skin on it. So like not a baked potato but can have mashed. No more popcorn or strawberrys. This will be a lifelong alteration.

Denine, your thanksgiving sounds like it will be nice. Sorry to hear Jerry's dad isn't doing that well at all. Hopefully they can figure it out SOON! He is in our prayers.

Jasper's eyes are looking better, but Hera's one eye is looking bad.

It is so nice to hve my little girl back!

We actually got some cleaning done today. I tore our bed apart and washed everything. I bought some of that new Downy Pleasures. It has a vanilla, lavender sent. I washed the bedding in that. It smells nice. I will use it for special stuff, like sheets.

We went to World Market. I have been wanting to go there. They have some really neat stuff.

It is Kaleigh's bed time.

Denine, glad to hear that Kaleigh is doing much better now. It is always so sad to see a little one down! I am not sure what it is Faith has. Kristy wasn't sure how to pronounce it and I was on my cell so it was kind of a lousy connection. Wouldn't doubt it is that tho.

Julie, can't wait for the AR. This makes it so much fun!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I took some time for ME today and had a pedicure. It was wonderful. My fried with the 7 week old and I met to have them done side by side. We first stopped at Starbucks and picked up a Pumpkin Spice Latte and then headed to the salon. I sipped my comfort drink and had my feet pampered. Heavenly!

I can't believe you guys in Colorado are plawing out. We had a high of 72 today and I had on a sleeveless shirt. It was a beautiful day in the Carolinas.

I have 3 days to work this week and then I will be thankful to be off for a couple of days. We are going to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. I can't wait. I am looking forward to all of my favorite Thanksgiving foods. I am taking corn and a congealed cranberry-pineapple thing (my late grandmother's recipe). Between my mom, sister and sister-in-law, the rest is covered. Since I am the only one of the women that work outside the home, I get to make the easy things.

My niece who is expecting a baby in December is off of the meds she was taking to stop contractions. So, she will probably have the baby soon. This is her third and she never has gone full term. They said the baby is about 5 1/2 pounds and everything is good to go now. So the wait is on.

Faith: glad you are home. Hope you feel better soon. Hi to Kristy!

Denine: take care of those kitties. They need you.

Sandy: At weight watchers, they stress that maintaining through mid November to early January is SUCCESS. Most people gain so if you can maintain you are a winner.

Where are the dudettes? Where are you #1, #2 and (lurker) #3?

Heidi: hope you get the fish soup recipe somehow!

Barb: I guess you guys are counting down the wedding bells until the big day. Let us know how things are going.

Sally: Did Patty get her furniture this weekend? Hope Dick is feeling better.

Sorry I was mia......sure I am in for the AR......instead of 2 teams for each person except one, why don't we do one team apiece and when you team gets kick off, draw for another team until they are all gone. It doesn't sound fair for one person to lose with one team and all the rest have 2....just a thought

Bob and Jason came over yesterday and moved all the furniture from next door and put mine in the garage until Ken can come get it.....I love my living room...looks like a whole new room.....

It hasn't snowed much but the roads were bad last night....we went to a Mexican restaurant to eat and Shelly told them it was Barb's birthday (well we were celebrating a little early)_ and they came and sang to her and put a hat on her...she looked like she was ready to crawl under the table.....and I didn't have my camera!

It was cold here in CO, but didn't snow that much!! I had a lot of fun with my mom this weekend. I have some of my christmas shopping done now and a birthday done!!!

Kristy here. yes it is "Diverticulitis" I wish i could come on with good news but moms just not doing much better. I just got off the phone with her doc, they want her back on clear Liquids. also she can't even go see the doc until the 24. she's upset and wants to go back to work. but she can hardly walk to the br alone. I did read her some of the post. that her her smile. You are all so wonderfull. Thank you so much. I will keep you all informed.

Talking to Kristy right now on an IM. Poor Faith. I can't believe that she won't be going back to the doctor until the 24th when she can't even get around yet.

Fun to get on the board and read so much...and a lot from SUSAN.
I want to know what is up with the DUDETTES! I tried calling Bonnie yesterday but the line was busy.

We ended up not getting that much snow so Ted hung around the shop a lot getting paid but he did sand from midnight till 4. It is great extra money whether he plows or just sits around. He kind of feels left out because he gets his time and half of his regular salary and that is more than what those guys make. He is not so popular. They talk to him but that is about it.

Julie, if you are that sick, let's just skip the AR thing and do it next time. Don't put yourself out when you aren't up to it. Checked with Kristy about AR and the "pool" but they don't watch. Maybe when everyone is healthy again.

Susan, what great news about your niece and her baby. Wow, your day out sounded heavenly. I wish you lived here and we could go!!!!!!! You sure know how to have fun!

Sally got her furniture finally. Yea!!

Gotta run and weigh in. Wish me luck. I promise I won't be sad. Maintaining is an accomplishment this time of year. Thanks all.

Another weekend come and gone. WOW! The sun is peeking out. We haven't seen it in several days.

I need to start back on the treadmill. That is what I am going to do when I am done on the computer.

I did a lot of prep work for my Thanksgiving baking. I also made a cranberry poppyseed bread.

Jerry may work from home tomorrow. He had to sign on early because one of his projects that he just put in runs tomorrow. He put another one in today and another one goes in Monday. He has been so busy at work.

Julie: World Market is this cool store with stuff from all over the world.

Joyce & I are at work & we both had a BUSY day but I told Joyce she must have had a bad horoscope because her day was the pits! I have to tell you that Joyce found a dog for my Mom & Aunt. He is the sweetest dog. His name is "Buddy" & he is a two year old miniature pinscher. He weighs about 19 pounds. They have had him since last Friday.
