Good Morning

Just a quick note between calls. My eyes are healing nicely.
the stingyburny stuff is also lessening. I go back to my Dr today.

Great race eh? I may have to start watching it. Right now Tuesday is shopping night. I am getting pretty interested in Gilmore girls so I may have to change shopping night to Wednesdays.

Tonight we are having Thanksgiving dinner with some friends. Nothing like getting a jump start on overeating

Glad you are back Bonnie.

Julie-Owner personal attention....maybe it was worth the frustration I bet he does a good job.

I have my Santa gift. Any set plans yet??

It's 10:30 am and they are DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! They look great!!! Better late then never! And they even cleaned up after themselves! They mopped my floors downstairs and hosed down the outside!

Wow Julie, atleast they were good to you today!!! They needed to work a little extra.

I have my secret santa gift, now just have to wrap it. I haven't really started christmas shopping yet, I will start after Thanksgiving.

Well I just got done with our HR potluck. It seems up here on the 3rd floors that all we do is eat. There was so much food. Mom - everybody loved the dip that I made...Penni wants the recipe, I told her she is going to laugh when she sees how easy it is!! I told her how to do it, but she doesn't believe me and she wants the recipe.

I found an Amazing Race buddy at work. He is going to try and apply for it next year. So now I have someone to talk to at work about it. He doesn't think that the people who came in first this week will make it very far, I challenged him on that!!!

Hi everyone, lots of chatter today. Love it.

Julie is happy. The windows are in and everything is hunky dory. I will put in a few bucks for a travelling trophy! This is fun.

Just got off IM with Lori. Didn't really talk. She asked a favor and then she went off running.....as always.

Haven't heard from Kristy. My phone line has been busy with downloading a new version of a program. It took ALL morning. I have one more download to go. I will have to check to see if she left a message. Sounds like Heidi must have gotten an email.

Barb, join in with your mom and the rest of us.

Poor Graci has the cold and cough now too. Ewwwww. I don't want it!

OK, Barb you're in!!! Whether you wanted to or not we made an excecutive decision!!LOL!! So, Bonnie, Jeanne, Kristy, Faith, Susan, Krista, Patti, Denine....... are you in or out? The traveling trophy can work for Big Brother too! That is if you want it to. Actually we should have two: one for the winner and one for whoever's team/person who gets eliminated first. What do you think?


I can do the team pickin's this weekend and let the rest of you know your teams by next Tuesday.

OK. Here's the deal. I AM always busy but I want in on the AR pool even though I doubt I will see amny episodes. I'm just a gambler at heart! I don't have time to post much more. I have to get tUrner on the other side of town in rush hour traffic for hockey practice. I won't be home til late but I will try to log back in tomorrow morning. Love you all and miss you.

I'll go in on the trophy too! So, we have Barb, Susan, Sandy, Sally, Heidi,and me so far. That makes 6 people so 1 person will only get one team and everyone else will get 2 teams. If that is ok with everyone. I can either put everyone's name in a hat and whoever's name gets pulled is the one with the one team, or if that isn't a good idea, I will just take the one team. Just let me know and I will pick the teams on Sat. If anyone else wants to join, we will have more with just one team. People have until sat.12pm to decide if they want to be in the "game". Is that ok with everyone?

Bonnie: Hope you start feeling better soon. Mycalog is still Rx. I was hoping for nystatin which is also RX. If it isn't improving in a couple of days, I am getting Kaleigh back to the DR. I bought a different cream to try tonight.

I bought some Thanksgiving supplies. I am supplying the food for the mini brunch at my mom's and I am making a carrot cake with cream chees frosting for dessert wherever we eat dinner.

Jasper's eyes look a tidge better today. I have to go clean them and put ointment in them once Kaleigh is in bed. He hates that!

We have made it through 10 days of diarrhea. You know, Kaleigh has had diarrhea this whole month except for 2 days? Between the atb's and the virus!

I work in the morning. I am looking foward to the break.

Sue: I don't envy you that drive across town in rush hour traffic.

Barb: Glad your eyes are feeling better. You and Jasper would make a great pair!

I hope no one else gets sick of gets over it soon.

Sounds like Garry had an interesting morning and it didn't even make the paper. Maybe tomorrow.

Just a quick question..... would anyone object to Anna Marie joining the Amazing Race pool? She said she would like to if it was ok with the rest of you. A side note, Amazing Race will re-air the 2 hour show on Sat. night.

Busy, busy, busy. But, no more hockey practice until next Wednesday. Basketball practice is tonight at 7:00. At least it is not cold in the gym like it is in the rink!

Prayers and pixie dust continues to be sent out to everyone. Hope everyone gets well soon (cats too!).

I think I am going to take a half day off today to get some Christmas shopping done. My calendar is open in the afternoon, which is rare. With our trip to Florida right before Christmas, I fell like Christmas will be here and I will still be trying to finish. I have bought a few things on the internet and verything has been arriving in 2-3 days with regular shipping.

Poor Kaleigh...all month long. Her butt has to be so raw.

It is Friday, and it is supose to snow all weekend. I guess my mom and I have to get in shape for doing all that shoveling. This will be our practice snow.

You know Heidi.......I really like it when it snows a lot and dad plows. It just feels like it is a mom/daughter bonding time. Call it crazy but I love it. (Not the shoveling part however)

Susan, quite honestly for a busy schedule like yours, you are at least getting a lot of Christmas shopping done. Bet it feels good.

Gosh, Bonnie dropped in for a second and left. We haven't heard from Jeanne in a long time. Sally and Barb are drifters. They come and go.

Hi, mom is doing a little better. she's still in a lot of pain. so there giving her the pain shot every 4 hours. but they let her drink some water. she couldn't handle anything else yet. They are going to try for a clear liquid diet tomorrow if she's up for it. I told her about the dis boards. everyone is soo nice. I took a few pics up of everyone. she said it made her feel a little better thinking about the trip. we still don't really know what it is. There waiting for some test results.
I take it as a good sign that she's getting better. I'm OK. tired it was a long day. I'm going in at 3am again tomorrow the staff is really nice over there. it helps that they know how i am so there understanding about me being there. anyway I'm off to try and sleep. bye for now

Our prayers are still with the family, Kristy. I believe either you or Euge are reading this.

Off to weigh in. I lost 2 pounds last time. Still don't have the pre cruise weight yet. I must be very close however. Wish me luck.

Sandy, I'm sure you have gotten back to your pre-cruise weight. If you have just alittle more to go to get there, I know you will! I've just got a feeling that you have done real well!!! Keep up the great job!!!

Denine, I'm surprised that it wasn't in the newpaper. It was on the noon, afternoon, and evening news. Channel 8 had the most about it and 19 and 43 did a story on it also, but they said it was a woman and not a man. But it was a man. I sure hope for your sake, that Kaleigh starts feeling better. I know it is very hard on you!!! If you ever need to let loose and talk, give me a buzz!! It's got to get better,it's got too!!!

Barb, glad to hear that your eyes are getting better. Glad it happened now then have it happen around the wedding!!!

Disney wrote me back!!! I wrote them trying to get the fish soup recipe and they wrote me back stating that they are going to try and get the recipe for me.....I hope they get it!!!

Julie, sorry to hear that you are sick as well. You need to take care of yourself so you can take care of everyone else. Take a calgon break and rest.

I stayed exactly the same at weigh in. I am so depressed. It was going so good before and now I just am not getting anywhere. Thanks for the encouragement Julie. I certainly needed it now.
