Now there are 2 teams left, so the first two to get their team eliminated, will get a new team, that is if one of the the 2 ecxtra teams don't loose first.

Today was a horrible day at work..I don't think we could confuse applicants anymore than we did today. Everything was going wrong for all of us specialists. We are ready to call it a day and try again tomorrow. Through all the screw ups, I think we bonded more and more laughing at each other and trying to beat each other up for the mistakes made. My phone hasn't stopped ringing off the hook!!

Hope everyone is doing okay. Very Quiet!!!!

I guess everyone needs some prayers and pixie dust, so I am sending these wishes and thoughts to everyone today.

I'm here. Jerry worked ALL day from home. He put in 13 hours. He has to do it again tomorrow, but hopefully not as long.

Jerry's mom was taking his dad to the hospital. Based on his symptoms, I am concerned he has a PE, pulmonary embolism, blood clot in the lung. We haven't heard anything yet.

I have my EPCOT pictures (watercolor prints) framed and ready to hang. I bought 2 last May at the Flower festival and 2 this past trip. The artist even persoanlized them.

I am almost done Christmas shopping. I have to get for Jerry, and we need to get his parents something. Jerry also has to get for me. I had to get kaleigh a small gift for the annual adoption Christmas party. They put a price limit so no one feels bad if someone gets something expensive. It is a nice party.

I made gingerbread today. I make the rest of my Thanksgiving treats tomorrow.

Jeanne: Good to hear from you. Buddy sounds like a nice dog.

Heidi: I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Julie: Glad you are feeling a bit better.

Barb: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! Hope you enjoyed dinner out.

Susan, what a wonderful post. Quite honestly, I was going to post it on Thanksgiving as well but I am very thankful for what we have here. Great friends and great family. It is so nice knowing that you are all here to help and support whenever needed. I never expected this when I first posted either. We have to thank Lori for starting the thread! I love you guys like you are family. God bless you all.

Happy Birthday Aidan James. My new nephew was born at 12:42am today. My sister-in-law called me right after I posted, around 7:00 last night and said Lisa was being admitted. So, I drove to Concord and stayed until about 1:20am this morning. Mother and son are doing great. He weighed 6lbs and 7oz. I'm going in to work a little late this morning since I am not funtioning very well on 4 hours of sleep!

Needless to say, I didn't se AR. Did I get eliminated? I guess I'll try to watch next week.

Yea a new baby for Susan.....you are surrounded by babies. Unfortunately you were eliminated, but now you get to cheer on Gus and Hera (father/daughter team).

Watching the show last night was so much fun, at the end I was laughing so hard because the teams that were close to elimination and competing against each other was my team, my mom's team, and Susan's team. I can't believe my team was penalized 30 minutes...I guess they need to learn the rules!!! But atleast my team doesn't fight and take each other's heads off!!! Can't wait for next week!!!

Well today is my last day of work for this week. Just in case I don't get back on HAPPY THANKSGIVING . Enjoy the time with your family.

Still Kristy "sorry" mom is ok her docs apoinment is today at 2pm. as far as feeling better she's the same, thanks to sandy we have lots of Jello. and she is keeping it down..... I'm not sure about tommorow who knows maybe she'll be ready for wanton soup. we didn't get a Turkey because she was surposed to work. not that she could eat it anyway. I will let you all know what the doc says... wish us luck. i miss you all!!!!! when is the next trip just thinking about it really gets me going through the days right now. well ttfn

Hello to all.

It is a busy day trying to get ready for tomorrow. Don't tell anyone but I cheated on the pumpkin pie. I bought one. I am however making a homemade chocolate pie for my FIL. He is such a chocoholic. Dressing is made, mashed sweet potatoes made, one batch of homemade rolls are made. I even went to the doctor for removal of a suspicious mole and also weighed in. Lost .2. Haha Oh well, it WAS a loss.

Heard from Darren. He had a terrific time on vacation. Gosh, I bet he was gone close to a month. He is still contemplating going on the Panama canal cruise. He better! He is such a special young man. We love him to death!

Kristy, sounds like your mom is at least improving slightly. Glad the jello worked. Something is better than nothing! Thanks for keeping us posted. What did the dr have to say?

Heidi, real funny but you are so correct. The fastest way to get a hold of me is on the board.

It was really fun watching AR last night. My team was 1st through the whole night until they took a wrong turn and came in last. I was afraid that Susan's team would beat me. Sorry Susan, buy you did lose. Good thing....is YOU get one more try!

Susan, congratulations. Glad that little Aidan James came into this world without a problem. Bless his little heart, he wanted to come a long time ago.

Better run. Ted and I have to go pick up his dad at the hospital. He had another transfusion today. At least he will be able to enjoy tomorrow with us.

hi me again, your right somthing is better then nothing, the doc says keep doing what your doing as far as food goes.. she also said stop taking the meds they gave her. in the hosp she needs to get them out of her system. she also told me to get her that wanton tommorow but i callled and no chinatown tommorow there closed. so new plan eugene is going to make soup. I guess thats it for now,

It's me. Very busy day.

I got all my Thanksgiving goodies made for tomorrow.

Jerry's dad is in the hospital and probably be there a few days. It is most likely he has pneumonia. He was going for a CAT of the chest this evening. There is a possibility there is a mass in one of his lungs. He also has reflux so bad that he can't lie down. It won't surprise anyone if he does have cancer. He has smoked forever and won't quit, although we are supposed to think he quit a few years ago. You can't mistake that smell. He looks awful and can hardly speak, he is so out of breath. I will tell Jerry you guys are sending prayers and pixie dust.

Jerry worked another long day and has to sign on to work in the morning even though it is Thanksgiving.

We will spend the morning and early afternoon at my mom's. Then, my long-time friend is in town, so we will go see her at her mom's house. Then, if we make it in time, we go back to see Jerry's dad in the hospital. I know I won't make it on tomorrow, so HAPPY THANKSGIVING! You guys are awesome!

Amazing Race was fun to watch now that we have teams! I kept saying, that's Sandy's team, Anna Marie has that team, etc. Susan does get a second chance with Gus and Hera.

Well, gotta go start making my goodies for tomorrow. I am making pecan pie and maybe another kind as well. I am also making biscuits and the sweet potatos. I might be also making a
roast to go along with the turkey. We have a whole "crew" over at my parents house and some people don't like turkey (good more for me) so someone usually makes a roast or a ham. So I will be busy tonight and tomorrow morning.

Bonnie will be MIA this week because Glenn was coming for Thanksgiving.
