Hey everyone!

Busy weekend. We did make it to our friends house on Saturday. we had a nice time palying cards.

Yesterday we went to Lowe's and bought some candleabra's (sp) for the front windows. We also went to a local nursey and bought a decorated wreath for the front door. I hope the Christmas tree goes up this coming weekend. I have a lot more decorating to do. Hey, we also put up our dining room drapes. That was an accomplishment!

Jerry's dad is continuing to improve. He is eating without any problems and is off the IV's. They were going to do another test today.

Kaleigh and I went to Kohl's to get Christmas presents for Jerry. We are hoping to go to Amish this week, if Jerry can take a day off. He deserves one after last week!

We had snow on Thanksgiving. The turnpike to my parents was horrendous! There were accidnet everywhere. Now, they knew the snow was coming and it had rained the day and night before, so why didn't they put any salt down? It was slippery and windy. We saw at least 2 dozen accidents on both sides of the road. I hate driving on a holiday.

I may actually start my Christmas cards today. I had to buy more, because I can't fined the ones that I know I moved!

Julie: Great deal the TDS! I need stocking holders, but I don't know what I want. I want to see Polar Express, but it won't happen.

I also need to get used to the new boards.

Okay, did everybody abandon this thread? Where is everybody? I feel like half of my family disowned me...Last to post yesterday, first to post today. I have seen my mom and Denine and that is it out of how many people on this thread??!!?? I have been abandoned. Denine, mom do you feel the same way? Did we miss something?

Anyway today is AR so hopefully today my team doesn't break the rules and give me a heart attack with a 30 minute penalty.

I hope everyone is doing good, I am sure you are all busy due to the holidays and I am sure NO ONE is LURKING!!!!

Wow, it is sooooooo slow. I miss everyone too. Come out come out where ever you are. Tag you're it.

Denine, glad you made it safely to your parents. The roads sounded horrible. Have fun at the Amish when you go. Wish we could do something like that. In So. Dak. we had Mennonites so I grew up around it. Of course the Amish are much more strict.

Heidi, good luck on your team tonight not making a mistake. But my team can make some doozies as well. First place the whole night until they drive the WRONG direction. Susan, last chance. Good luck with your team!

Well, it is terribly icy out in front of the house. I told Graci's mom that I will pick her up at the office today. I hope it isn't icy there. I heard the main roads are ok. The dentist office is always icy on a downhill run to a stop sign. I hate it. Wish me luck!

Hello...Hello..anybody there?

Well I am getting an early work Christmas present from my ex-boyfriends' dad!! He came to me this morning, scared the heck out of me asking me if I wanted a 19in or flat screen. It was early in the am so I wasn't quite awake and I didn't get what he was saying, so he had to explain to me monitor for my computer. I chose flat screen and he said mine will be nicer because it has speakers attached to the monitor. YEA, now everybody is jealous..it is so nice to have a hook-up!!!

Brooke is finally feeling better. She still has a runny nose, but she takes her medicine like a PRO!! The Big Guy is taking his med pretty good too! I had them flavor it at the pharmacy and it seems to work!

Denine, how's your month looking? Possible trip to zoo lights?

Sandy, becareful!! I know that it isn't the greatest out there so be safe!!

Heidi, I'll always be her for you!!! Never fear!!! I can't wait til tonight for the AR!!! I wish it was on like big brother, a few nights a week!!!

By the way, when you look at your own posts, do you see the triangle with the exclaimation mark in it at the bottom of your posts? Just wondering if it shows up on all the posts but your own. Still not sure about this new format!

Julie: I will have to look at the calendar for zoo lights. Glad everyone is starting to feel better.

I got my Christmas cards done yeterday. They will be mailed tomorrow. And, guess what? I found the other cards, in a box, all the way at the back. So much for having them out front for easy access. At least I will have cards for next year.

I made white cheddar chees soup for dinner. I have a loaf of bread on the the bread machine to go with it.

I like the boards today. They are very Christmasy!

Sandy: Hope you don't have icy roads!

I believe the dates for the exchange will be good for me. Now I just have to mail my gift.

Heidi: Sounds like a good gift!

Heidi, way to go! It does pay to know someone. I was just wondering if anyone will complain because Randy took care of you. Hey, ask him over to get our computer DVD burner thingy straightened out. I know, I know. You won't ask. Sounded good tho.

Denine, soup and bread sounds perfect. We had homemade rolls and turkey noodle soup on Sunday. Yummy!

Julie, I bet I can make it on a Sunday or Monday. Just not a Tuesday. I keep Graci late that night. Good to hear that the family is on the road to recovery. Will be thinking of you tonight. Good luck with your team. (not too much luck is sent your way.....I want to win.

The roads in the subdivision were icy, the main roads were fine but the Dr. parking lot was horrible. Of course the guy behind me when I was leaving was driving like an idiot and I stopped at the stop sign and he went sliding sideways. Didn't hit me thank goodness. Hope he made a mess in his pants!!

Denine - I really liked the email you sent about the 25 ways. I had to send it around work and we are still commenting, laughing, and reminiscing!!! Your soup sounds so good, wish I was there to try some.

Ya it was nice of Randy to do that for me. He said he had those 2 extra so he would give me one of them for my desk. I don't think anyone will really know who gave it to me. We are beginning to slowly get HR employees flat screens, I just got a jump on everyone!!! He was so annoying to me that I couldn't stand him, but today he was the normal Randy that I remembered so now I really miss him and his family. Darn emotions!!!

I was looking at your triangle with an exclamation mark and it is to report bad posts. I don't see it on my own name, but I see it on everybody elses!!! Be careful, I might report you!!!!

Julie saw me on, I like that function because now you can search for all the lurkers if they have posted!!! No one is on right now out of our group...but watch out Lurkers, I am keeping an eye on you!!! Not sure if I like the new DISboards yet. It takes a lot to get use to. Hi Julie, it says you are online!!!! I am with you, I hate Jon...he drives me crazy, I don't know how Victoria stays married to him. Thank god I didn't get any of the screaming couples (they are not screaming at each other, yet!!) I can't believe they kept watching her, knowing that they would be eliminated. That poor girl, she was exhausted.

Kristy emailed me yesterday, Faith was supose to go back to work last night. Hopefully she made it through work okay!! I think Faith is feeling a little better.

Well it's lunchtime, better go eat something so I don't starve to death!! (ya right, still haven't lost the 8 pounds I gained on the cruise!!!)

We went to visit Jerry's dad last night. He may come home tomorrow or Friday. They are regulating his heart meds.

The soup was yummy and so was the bread.

Nothing else going on.

Just doing my part in preventing people from getting lonely.

Julie: December is pretty much all good for zoolights. Just not this weekend, the 11th, 25th 28th or 31st. If I work on the 27th then the 26th isn't good either. I will fing out this weekend if I work that day.

Well, it was a busy day of returns and rebuying. I am actually accomplishing the Christmas task. Almost done.

I agree. The show should not have had her continue for 2 hours. Crazy! Jon is a horrible person.

If anyone watches Wife Swap it is two dads tonight. One from Boulder CO and the other is from Colorado Springs where Barb and Sally live. It sounds like both dads are weird.

Better run and put everything away. Just thought I better check in because it is sooooooo slow.
