The sprinkle cookies are made and fun was had by all. Kaleigh really liked the purple sugar! Now she just wants to eat them!

Work was good this monring. I found out that 16 of the 24 people on my side all the virus the same day I did. At least it is gone now!

I got my new stroller today. It seems really nice. We took it for a spin. Plus, I didn't spend a fortune. $114 with shipping.

DOn't expect to hear from me this weekend. Tomorrow we go to Jerry's mom's to color eggs, then Saturday we go over there to make sukanina (a Bohemian Easter meatloaf) and then Sunday is Easter. Since Jerry's dad isn't around to cause trouble, I will go all 3 days.

Our nephew has pneumonia. That is the cause of the fever and the seizure. Poor kid, his 2nd birthday is tomorrow.

Dick is taking me to lunch....I told him I was taking him since it is his birthday but he wants to take me to a restaurant we haven't been to yet.....

I did errands with Heidi today and bumped into my brother so we ate lunch together. That was nice!

We made our table seating reservations at WDW this morning. It went perfect. Got what we wanted. Jeanne, I am sending you an email. Want to meet at Whispering Canyone Wed night?

Heading over to the other house tonight. We might come back tomorrow night. We were invited over to my brothers house for Easter dinner at 1:00. We might just as well spend Sat night here so I can get up, shower, do my hair and make homemade rolls.

I just got a phone call from Heidi. Guess what???? She saw the Easter Bunny on the motorcycle!! So for all you non believers, this is the third sighting from 3 different people. The Easter Bunny DOES exist!

I can always count on Sandy to be on line.....Had a good lunch....the kids are taking us out tonight for Dick's birthday and he doesn't know it so I had to tell him our granddaughter was taking him to dinner...he doesn't know about Barb and gang.

Sandy, I could but I shouldn't.....sometimes these things run in the family

We went out to dinner and then to a movie.....the birthday boy went to bed though. We saw Ice Age....that was the only thing that started before l0:30.. and Barb made it through even though it was past her bedtime.

I got 3 more rose bushes from Springhill so have to get them planted today. I have several other plants to get in the ground. I am wondering if we are going to get more snow because we usually have our last big snow around the l4th and I looked up the weather for the next l0 days and it is suppose to be really nice. The trees are blooming and leaves are coming out....

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!

Just popping in to say hi to everyone and hope you all have a great Easter! The kids are sooooooooo excited to get their baskets and hunt for the eggs the colored! Brooke even got into coloring the eggs! She was soooooo excited with each egg she colored and she did a really good job too! So did the other two!

Well, right now Garry got called into work. There was a car crash that ending in a fatality. A 23 some year old drunk hit a 21 yr old. The younger of the two didn't make it. Garry had a feeling that something was going to happen tonight. He was right.

My dad had another surgery this past week. They removed a bone and some tissue of the foot that had the growing ulcer on it. The amp. leg seems to be doing ok. They were concerned with some redness, but they changed the antibiotics that he was on and it seems to be doing ok. They have a "leg former" on that leg to get it ready for his "new leg". Today makes it 1 month since he has been in the hospital. We were informed this weekend that he needs to be moved to a skilled nursing place, to continue build up his strength so he could get back to the rehab floor so he can come home. We have people who are going to build a ramp into my mom's and dad's house for him to get the wheelchair up and in and we have to do some "re-arranging" of some things in the house so the social worker can "approve" the house so he can come home. He still has another 4 weeks or more in skilled nursing and rehab BUT that is better news then what we were expecting a month ago.

Sandy, WHispering Canyon.... OH HICKORY!! I believe she is working the breakfast shift the last time we checked in there. We asked if she was still there and they said she went to the breakfast shift. I wonder if we had something to do with that ?

Happy Easter Everyone......it is 6:30 here so most of you are still sleeping and dreaming of the great Easter bunny on a motorcylce

It was nice to hear from you Julie.....hope things start going better for you and your family now. It is spring and a new beginning....

It was so windy yesterday and it made it feel rather cool and I didn't get anything done in the yard....or anyplace else for that matter. I am going to have to get with it this week....

No great plans for today....will probably go to a movie

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Thought I would get a quick post in before back to slave painting. I am not much of a painter but want to get the majority of it done before Bob gets home. We were suppose to go to the zoo today but both Missy and Ethan are sick. So we'll just have to go another weekend. I feel like I am running out of time. I still have the bathroom to paint and all the yard work to get done. Rent and take all Missy's stuff to a storage until, make the silk corsages for the wedding, plan and get the tea party going and finish up the graduation stuff.

We did find a prom dress yesterday. We spent the day in Denver at Park Meadows. We ended up buying one at Dillards. The sequins are coming loose so I need to repair it but I did get 10% off.

WE made it....57 years today!

Hope everyone had a nice Easter....didn't do anything very exciting except work in the yard and go to a movie. I cut the lawn and got some more flowers planted.

I read where they say we could get snow showers tonight....would like the showers but not the snow.

Wow Sally, 57 years!!! Congratulations and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!

Sounds like everyone had a pretty good Easter. The weather was great for us and we spent the afternoon playing croquet (sp??) It was a lot of fun. When I saw the Easter Bunny on the motorcycle I just had to laugh, thinking about my mom and how much I was harrassing her!!!!

Saturday my best friend and I highlighted our hair. We had a lot of fun, I went subtle because I have never died/highlighted my hair, but in a few months we will do it again and I will do it more obvious!!!!!

Yay, no snow!!!!!! But I still think it is going to be in the 40's on Wednesday. Only in CO, we could hit record high and record low within 2 days!!! I love CO!!!!

Sounds like everyone had a nice Easter! We did, but it was a VERY busy weekend. I am sooo tired! We ate too much, so today is just a cereal day.

Julie: Glad to hear your dad is progressing! Sounds like the kids had fun yesterday. You went to Malley's? We didn't go, but we thought about it when we passed it on Saturday.

Heidi: We could hit a high and a low here too. Only in the mid-50's again today, but supposed to warm back up into the 60's this week.

Barb: You don't have to do it all yourself. Enlist some help from those kids of yours!

Sally: Happy Anniversary!

3 weeks and we will be in WDW!

I am still waiting for my trees to come so we can get them planted before our trip.

Julie, OH HICKORY!! Sounds like things are coming along with your dad pretty good. It always amazed me that a social worker has to "approve" someone's home before they are released. What if they didn't have insurance and couldn't afford the rehab or hospital??

Heidi, I was hoping to see the Easter bunny ON Easter but he must have taken the day off.!

Good Afternoon!

I was soooo busy at work today as soon as I disconnected one call another was ringing in.

Got most of the hallway done. Left the trim by the ceiling and the baseboards for Bob. He loves to paint. I hate it so we balance each other out. It's not so much that I hate the painting its that I can't seem to paint anything without making a mess. I got little paint dots on my carpet. I am so upset I felt like crying last night. I was so exhasted from painting anyway. Any mircle ideas how to get paint out of carpet?

Tonight is scrap book club and I have to supply the snacks. I think I will get a Chick-Fil-A nugget tray. We are having a picnic potluck tomorrow at work. I also have to get something for that.

Sandy- The wind here is horrible too. Went for a walk around our building on break my hair was standing completely straight up in the air. I decided no comb to my hair until I have a serious amount of conditioner in it!

Missy is getting better slowly. Terrible cold. There have been a lot of people at work coming down with the flu. I keep praying I don't get sick. I can't afford the down time with all I have left to do.
