Barb - Go to Home Depot to the cleaning section and look for a product called Lift Off. They have different kinds that takes out different stains, you will want Lift Off #5 for latex paint. I used Lift Off #3 to get the Sharpie marker off my couch. You will love this stuff. Here is the website that talks about all their products: http://www.liftoffinc.com/

I did a Chick-fil-a tray for my sister's baby shower. I wasn't too impressed, it wasn't as good as when you get it at the restaurant. They make it a head of time and the steam makes the nuggets soggy.

I worked outside yesterday afternoon.....went to HD and got more bricks. Planted two more rose bushes....it was very windy but I didn't mind as it was a warm wind......gusts up to 40 miles I guess. They had a fire in Security and the wind was making it spread so much they closed a couple highways.

The chick-fil-a was really good that Barb brought....she also brought ice tea and brownies.....yummy.

Going to get my hair done at l0.....not one of my favorite things to do. I know must people like it but I have other things to do and hate to take the time.

American Idol tonight. It is a big deal at my house, we all sit around being judgemental. "That guy is not very good tonight" "She shouldn't have picked that song" "Heeheehee Hey that guy missed the microphone stand!" Ahhhhhhh Life!

It is sooo cold here today but probably because it is soooo windy

It was windy here yesterday too, but not terribly windy. I want the warm back, I don't like the cold!

Went to the mall last night and bought Kaleigh an Easter dress for next year and a birthday present for our nephew. His party is this weekend, but we are not going. Jerry has to work.

Never had anything from chick-fil-a.

Barb: That is what drop cloths are for. Hope you get the paint out.

Jerry went to the dentist yesterday. He has some gum disease on 2 upper teeth. They put some antibiotic in the gum pocket that stays there for 2 weeks. They said this usually works very well. I hope.

Going to Kmart tonight. They have a Princess storage bin thingy that I want to get for Kaleigh's toys in the basement. Then, I can get rid of the playpen. I want to get one for her room too, but I want it to be white wicker bins with pink gingham inserts.

Barb - did you try the Lift off? Did it work?

My allergies are driving me crazy today. I could feel the m creep up for the last week but today I am just miserable and all the allergy/sinus medicine makes me so sleepy so I can't take them at work.

Good Morning

Sandy-I did not get to Home Depot to get the Lift off. One of my friends needed me to pick her up at the hair place and give her a ride home. She has been my friend for many years but boy Can she talk. talk talk talk. I even told Missy to call me on my cell so I had a reason to leave. We ended up sitting in my car with the engine on for over an hour. I kept saying "I HAVE TO LEAVE" but talk talk talk. I love her dearly but I was pretty upset when I didn't get home until after 6:00. I had no time to get anything done on the house. Next time she needs a ride I am sending Missy!

Loved American Idol last night. I really like Kellie even though she did not have the best performance. I still think she is really good. Katherine is incredible and so it Chris. Not sure who is my favorite.

Well, guess who is sick again...me. I have had a sore throat since Saturday and this morning I am stuffy. When will this end????????

We watched the Indian's trounce the Orioles 15-1 last night.

It is nice today. I am starting to open my windows.

Off to the mall again tonight. Need to buy myself a birthday present from my MIL. There is an extra 10% off today, so didn't look on Monday, but couldn't wait till today to buy the Easter dress. ALso need to drop Jerry's car off at the car doctor.

Barb: Wow! Your friend sure can talk!

Sandy: It will feel good to be able to work around your own house for a change!

Got a wedding invitation for June in Virginia Beach. We are considering going and tacking on a couple of days to go to Williamsburg. My cousin is getting married and then honeymooning in Ecuador. It is very casual, being held in a hotel and then a pool and pizza party at my Uncles after the wedding and a brunch there the next morning. I haven't seen my aunt and uncle in years because he has MS, worse then my dad. Nice people, but different. They are VERY artsy and are asking us to make them gifts. Yeah right! My cousin is an art teacher in Chicago. Her fiance is from Idaho and they are having a 2nd wedding there in July. Don't ask me. The artisitic talent comes from her mom and we are not blood related.

Heidi: Too bad about your allergies. Luckily I do not have Spring allergies, just Fall.

Had a successlful shopping trip to Kmart and got what I was looking for. Also went to Trader Joes since we were there. Bought some more wine. Lent is OVER!

Has anyone seen the show "24"? I started watching it with Jason. He loves the series. I have heard a little about it and the people who watch it love it. I bought Jason season one for Easter so we have been watching it in the evenings. Which means I have not been getting to bed until 10:30.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEANNE!!

It is calming down around here right now. My dad is in a "rehab home" and seems to be in pretty good spirits. My mom's bad hip is killing her and she is getting a shot in her hip to help with the pain.

The kids LOVED Easter. They all wore their Easter dresses and outfit. They went on an Easter egg hunt last weekend. They have spring break right now. The weather has been beautiful!!! The kids are outside everyday. They love to blow bubbles and ride their bikes. Anna Marie came today so she went outside with them all day today. I got a chance to do so work around the house (not much but I did get the easter baskets put away and the candy too) and I got to do my treadmill. I feel that my weight is going in the wrong direction.... UP!!!! Everything I try isn't getting the right results.

Sandy, I watched Idol and My favorites are Taylor and Katharine. I do like Elliot too, but he doesn't have the fan base. Chris is good but he is one dimentional so is Ace. I really don't like Paris and Kelly. Kelly's "act" is getting old and Paris reminds me of Gary Coleman in drag.

Barb, I have not watched 24 but I have heard that it is a really good show. I guess you need to start watching shows like that from the beginning or sometimes you can get lost. I've been watching the Cooking with Celebrities this week. It isn't too bad. I like cooking shows.

Well, nothing exciting from me. I will try posting more now that things are getting somewhat back to normal if there is such a thing. We go to disney in 49 days. We leave June 7th and come back June 22nd. Wewill be staying at the Boardwalk Villas in a one bedroom. It is nice to have the washer and dryer in the room with us. Less packing for me.

7 more weeks of school! I can't believe Makenzie is almost through with 1st grade. I can't beleive what she is doing. Her spelling words are sleeping, checking, prying, planted, multiply, landed etc... She is doing addition of 3 numbers and started basic geometry.

Well, gonna go. I promise to be back. No more long breaks between posts! I promise.

I was suprised Kelly was not in the bottom 3 and Paris was. Once it was between Scott and Ace I knew that Ace was coming home. Maybe I can run into Ace once he gets home!!!!

I do like Paris....she has such a big voice for one so young.....I like Katharine. I thought they all did a really good job this week except Kellie but than you can't say any of them aren't good or they wouldn't be where they are. It is going to be tough seeing anyone go from now on but like the ones last year, I am sure most will end up with a contract.

My granddaughter is living with us for now....her dad kicked her out....I seriously think he is losing his mind. He always has been weird but in the last few months he is getting really crazy.....she says thank goodness our side of the family is normal

It is suppose to be nice today and for the next l0 days....we didn't get snow so this is really a strange April......as we always have snow in April...glad we didn't because I have been able to get a lot of my planting done. I hope to get the rest of the brick laid around my flower bed today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEANNE!!!!

I am soooo glad it is my Friday. I am just dragging this week. Between the push push push of trying to get everything done and staying up until 11 watching "24" I am beat!

I have another 4 hour training BLAH and I HAVE to get the tea party planned today. I have been shoving it to the back burner for too long. I also have to make the sample place mat, center piece and hat this weekend.

Bob is not working today so I won't be able to talk to him. I sure need his shoulder to lean on. I LOVE my kids soooo much but having them all in the house is a challenge. I spend about 30 minutes every morning cleaning. It is not any one doing a huge mess it all the little stuff that is left. I know I am a "Neat Freak" and would be very hard to live with because I can't stand for anything in my house to be out of place. Everything has a place and I HATE clutter and mess. Shoes must be lined up by the door, keys hung on the key rack, every dish must be clean, laundry basket has to be empty, trash cans must be empty, I set up a corner for all of Ethan's toys he also has a shelf for books and stuffed animals....... So you see it is me but I am not willing to change I will lose control over my house and I will live in disorganization.

Julie: Where is your dad? I am glad things are calming down for you. Kaleigh has been outside blowing bubbles every day too. So, in the next 2 weeks, when are we getting together? Only Fridays available.

So far, I just have a bad cold. Hope it goes away quickly. I can't ever get healthy long enough to stay healthy.

Went to Bennigans last night with our BOGO coupon. We just had salads. Got one new shorts outfit and a shirt for my Bday present.

We probably won't go to the wedding. It wasn't planned in the budget.

Ordered flowers today for Mother's Day since we won't be home. One more thing to check off the to do list!

I work tomorrow and Jerry has to work the weekend. I do need to get the birthday present wrapped so Jerry can take it to his mom's tomorrow. He is helping her take her dog to the vet. At least Jerry will be working from home.
