Since we are talking about Palo's, I have a question. This will be our 1st time eating there, but we are just going for brunch. How do you dress for brunch-- is it as fancy as dinner or more casual?

Brunch is more casual, but still no shorts or jeans. I would highly recommend trying to get a ressie for dinner...The food at Palo's is incredible.
If you can not get a ressie for dinner, you can still go to the bar in Palo's and have dessert. The chocolate soufflie (sp?) and the Terramasoo (sp?) is the only reason we sail with Disney They do hold a few spots open for people to book on board. We will call Palo's once on board to check and see if anyone cancels, We were lucky enough to eat there 3 times on one of our 7 day cruises. We are booked for a brunch and we get to eat there on Friday, the day of our renewal.

I called my TA today and they provided the tracking # which said our were shipped out on Wednesday with an anticipated delivery date of Monday. Since the tracking showed it was less than 60 miles away in my own state last night, I really expected the UPS guy here today. Guess we have to wait for Monday unless they deliver on Saturdays.

Anyone doing Disney transfers from the airport on Saturday am? What time is your family going to head for the Disney bus area?

Welcome Mila- Being a first time cruiser you may book Palo (and excursions) at 90 days precruise and if you are a repeat Disney cruiser (Castaway Cay member) you may book at 75 days. Good luck getting reservations. There are many couples on this cruise celebrating anniversaries

We will be using Disney transportation. I hope to be there at 10:00 am. I think this is the earliest. Just hope my family is on board with me!

We're taking the Disney transfer from the airport, probably as early as we can! We're flying in the day before, so if we can sleep, we should be ready to go first thing in the morning!

Man are you all making me jealous with your cruise docs. On the positive side, my DH informed me he had a surprise for me on the ship! I'm not allowed to look at our reservation on the DCL website. He's so sweet. Guess it pays to be depressed about things not happening quickly. He takes pity on me. Heee Heee Well, to all of you who got your docs, congrats. To those of us who are still waiting, here's to a Monday delivery date. (To those of you who saw my ranting earlier today, as you can see I'm much calmer. I've visually had an entire bottle of champagne thanks to Kevin and I've devoured enough chocolate covered strawberries to make me sick. So thanks for those visuals. I can't believe we're embarking in exactly 2 weeks!!

Got a quick question for those of you who bring pillowcases/photomat for signatures:

What kind of bag do you put it in along w/the markers when dropping them off at Guest Services? I have an 8x10 photomat that I stuck in a ziplock baggie along w/the markers plus I'll be putting my home address label on the bag (with my room number).
Is a zip lock baggie ok??

See....the little questions even confuse me

Where do you get Bonine? I asked at Target today, and the lady in the pharmacy just directed me to the Dramamine.... I was like, ummm, that's not what I asked for. She didn't seem to bright...

Someone probably answered this, but I have 10 pages of messages to read through still! Sheesh--go away for a few days & look what I miss!

Anyway--I ordered our Bonine from Drugstore.com online and they also had Dramamine & SeaBands---I got them all just in case!

Once again I miss keeping up with ya'll for a day and I'm so far behind I can't believe it. I guess I'm going to have to stop working until our cruise so I can keep up with all of you.

Hey, we got those Bahamian Immigration forms too. When do we fill them out? Before we get to the port? I'm a newbe to all of this.

You guys won't believe this but, Butch came over to see me this morning when I went out to gather up our trash can. Our trash men are getting very creative in placing our empty trash cans. Sometimes they will be in front of the house, sometimes up by the garage, and sometimes over in the neighbors yard. You gotta love those guys. But anyway back to Butch, I go out to get the trash cans like I said. Butch comes running over, and I swear he had a smile on his face when he saw me. I thought not because he was glad to see me but he thought to himself I get to bite this big dummy. But he runs over and jumps up for me to pet the little rascal. He's licking me and seems actually happy to see me. You know I always did like that cute little dog. Sniff, sniff hey man I'm not cryn', I think I love the little squirt........

Anyways, in just 2 weeks we'll be on board the MAGIC!!!!
