Wow, where have I been?? I have missed all of the great discussion about my home state! Yes, it is hot in Arizona, but this past week the monsoons have really brought the humidity. It has been in the high 80's/low 90's but HUMID. It feels like I am back in the midwest!

My kids are very excited about High School Musical 2 also. A party sounds like it would be really fun, but with my newest injury it just isn't possible. I don't know if I ever told y'all, but I broke my ankle and tore a tendon last May and I've been going to the pediatrist since. Three weeks ago, he gave me some orthotics and told me I was doing great. Earlier today, I was at school setting up my classroom and I was moving a filing cabinet when I rolled my ankle and re-sprained it. Ouch! I spent the afternoon in Urgent Care, got a new brace and some crutches just in time for school to start on Wednesday.

Hi everyone, been super busy here!!! Just checking in to say goodbye. Heading off to Cabo San Lucas tomorrow morning for a week. I have to work all day and finish packing, yikes!!!!!!!!!!

My dd is also eagerly awaiting HSM2, she sent me an e-mail invite to watch it with her from DisneyChannel.com. Very cute!

I'm sorry I have missed everyone but I have been very busy. School was o.k. today. The day was very quick. All of the kids seemed to be eager and happy when they came in to breakfast this morning. We have a wonderful staff which always helps too. I hope everyone is well.

Hi everyone! Just jumping in to say Hello to the new cruisers!
We've been busy getting ready for school. DS13 started high school today! DS10 also started today. DS4 starts Aug 20.
Why in the world we start school when the temp is 100 is beyond me. Then get out early in May!
DS13 also started school with an injury. He runs on the cross country team, and he injured his knee running. He needs a brace, physical therapy, and will most likely miss all of the season. He has trained hard this summer, meeting the team at 6:45 6 days a week. It really upset him.
The good thing is we have great insurance and Drs. He'll be fine.
I'm off this afternoon to a Women of Faith conference in Atlanta. The timing is terrible with school and dr. visits but I highly recomend it if anyone ever has the chance to attend a conference. They travel to a lot of big cities.

Well, we now have our first day of Middle School behind us as well as a relocation for 4th Grade. I have dreaded this day all Summer but my girls were so excited after school to tell me all about their day. YEAH.

Hi Everyone, I am in Cabo now, in the 10 million dollar mansion! Spent the first night in the guest house, 4 of us in a room smaller my bedroom at home, and that included a bedroom living room and bathroom. The sleeper sofa was the bed from hell, hands down worst bed I've ever slept on. So, we did some rearranging, and now my FIL is staying in the guest house in the bedroom with my son, since there are 2 twin beds. My dd is now in the master bedroom sharing the king bed with my MIL. And dh and I have moved into the bedroom that my fil was in. Should be a better night now. The 4 bedrooms in the house are the size of half my house, HUGE walk in dressing closets and huge bedrooms.
Right now the adults are drinking margaritas and everyone is playing singstar on playstation. My kids are playing now singing Jesse McCartney Beautiful Soul.
I can't download pics on this computer but I'll see if I can upload one from my card reader later.

They start the day after Labor Day...I can't believe my babies are going off to Kindergarten. I am going to be soo sad. What shall I ever do with my time??? This will be me... LOL!!!

I'm actually going to be pulling my DDs out of school for our cruise. Are your DDs going to have a fall break then? Or is pretty much the same schedule as ours, winter and spring breaks?

My girls will be going half day. Some around us are full day but we are not yet.

I am actually pulling them out for the cruise too. That weekend they will have Monday off for Columbus Day and this year they have that Friday off too so I am hoping for the same next year too. We have a break now in Feb. and in April. This school year I am pulling them out in late Sept. to go to WDW.
What grade is your daughter in again????
