Sounds good. I forgot to mention that our four year old friend is a girl, but I know four year olds don't care about that! I'm sure we'll see you at the pool.

Hey there.

My twins will be six and they love hanging out at the pool too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will fit right in here!!! I just sent you an email. Since you are from sunny CA, you can help keep rancan and cdhheidi company after the eastern and central time zoners have crashed for the night.:rotfl2:
Thanks for the email.
I'll try to help keep the west coaster's from being lonely at night when the rest of you turn in :)

I posted Allen's new list on the web-site!!!!!!!!!!!

The kids are so excited and will have a blast. They're already making plans for the mickey pool and slide! Hope to see your girls there. My nephew will be 8 in September and my little neighbor girl will be 4 in August and they get along great together. The more kids the better.
Off topic-Did you see my reply to you on the budget boards about the website for Ann Taylor Loft codes? It's retailmenotdotcom (I couldn't post the link). It's a good one. let me know if you need more info.

OMG!! You guys are too funny. Everytime I check in we are on a new thread.:lmao:

I have an unrelated question: for those of you who stay at SSR, how is the experience?

I'm planning a trip in Oct. (while we are cruising:thumbsup2) for my brother, SIL and 2 boys, 9 and 7. This is their first WDW trip - in fact, it's their first trip anywhere. They are total newbs so I want their trip to be magical. They are somewhat on a budget but don't want to stay in the values. I talked to them about renting points and they are cautiously interested.

So I'm looking for points for them and I have a feeling that SSR might be all that's available.

Any of you DVCers willing to help me sen this young family on a dream trip?

Thanks!:flower3:

And I am SURE my 11 and 13 year old BOYS will be THRILLED to hear that!!!! :rotfl2:

Swiper! No Swiping!

Oh Man!!!!!

LOL
CONGTRATS!!!

Wow Michele, you were on a roll last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see you Mary! I take it the airfare did NOT send them into cardiac arrest after all??

Good morning everyone!

Denis, hang in there, I know the job will get better. If not, you can always take mine :lmao: .

LOL - Actually, I was able to find NWA flights with decent times for $299. I know that sounds like a ton for those of you who have those great low-fare airline options but here in Minn., they have us over a barrel!

Now I just need to find them a place to sleep! I'd love to see their sweet little faces when they see the castle for the first time - oh how I miss those days.

Nice job, those are super fares from here, especially at this late date!!!!!!! I have been looking to fly to Portland (on frequent flyer miles, which of course I can't find seats) but the airfares to there are rock bottom at $490 a piece!

Thought you all might want to see some of the pics of what has been keeping me so busy, here is Jenna as a bunny in the play and Jacob with his castle project.

Goodmorning all!!!
It's great to hear from you miniesota!! That's great that you are putting together this trip for your brother and family!! I know what you mean about missing those days with the kids! Teens just don't show excitement like little ones do! That's why I am thrilled my grandkids are joining us on the cruise, they have never been and I ma just looking forward to seeing their reactions when they see the ship for the first time!!
I took my girls on their first cruise earlier in the year and they never wanted to embaress themselves, so the were careful about any excitement they felt!!! LOL
Have a great day!!

Here are a few pics of the set that I helped design and build,

Unfortunately I don't have any points for rent, I use every last one, you could check out the dvc board where they rent points, I have used it before it is quite painless. SSR is HUGE, I own there and have stayed there, I like resorts a little less vast but is still is beautiful and there is alot to do on site, rent surrey bikes, great pool and water section etc. the rooms are very nice and you are only a quick walk to DTD. Anywhere you stay on Disney property is magical as far as I am concerned. :wizard: I am sure it will be a wonderful trip!!!:goodvibes

Great job on the set!! Are you relieved it's over?
Now you can consentrate on your trip to NY!!!

Hey Candy, how are you, this is the first morning I can remember in a very long time where I can just sit!!!!

The play is amazing, they all did so well, very proud of them, one more tonight and then we leave for NYC after school on Thursday.

Jake got an A on the castle project, he did very well, very proud of both my kidlets!!!

Gina- Cute kids! ANd wow, those sets look great. My two teens are in theater big-time so I don't get as involved as I used to. However, I did all the photography for my son's production this spring of "Once Upon A Mattress." He was Prince Dauntless and the production was fantastic. My daughter is in her high school music/dance showcase which opens this weekend. We will be busy for the next two weekend with 6 shows!

I did check over on the DVC boards and someone told me SSR was all that's available for their dates. I'll have my brother look on the website and see what he thinks.

Candy-I would love to see my nephews on the cruise! They would have so much fun. My brother and his wife are both teachers so the family budget doesn't allow for much in the way of travel. This is the first airplane ride for my SIL and the 2 boys!!! They will love Disney - I just want to be there but I guess I'll have to settle for the cruise.:rotfl:
